Tune in to find out how Elizabeth Brett, former NBC reporter turned sacred feminine priestess & sovereignty mentor, has created a deeply satisfying life as a mother, wife, entrepreneur, wisdom seeker, and whole woman... and how you can too.
The current way we measure success misses one key element: our soul nourishment. We’re left feeling depleted, resentful, numb, and unfulfilled by these lives we’ve worked so hard to create. Let’s explore what it looks like to throw out the old model & create a new one, with our soul satisfaction in the center.
This podcast is for you if you're a seeker... you're not willing to settle for a boring or comfortable life but are ready to rewrite the rules of womanhood & motherhood from the inside out.
We'll dive into topics like sacred feminine practices, conscious motherhood, reconnecting to our bodies, reinvention, remembering ancient wisdom, breaking free of cultural cages, midlife hormones, you name it... basically questioning & reimagining anything and everything we’ve been taught about being a woman in today’s world.
In the Sacred & Sovereign Podcast you'll hear Elizabeth's insights & her interviews with feminine leaders as they explore how creating a deeply satisfying life is simpler than you think.

Why Work/Life Balance is a Trap & What to Try Instead
What if everything you’ve been told about work-life balance is a trap? What if the constant striving for some perfect ratio between work, motherhood, partnership, and personal growth is actually keeping you stuck?
In this episode of Sacred & Sovereign, I’m calling bullsh*t on the outdated concept of work-life balance. Instead of trying to slice ourselves into neat little percentages—50% work, 50% life, or whatever impossible standard we’ve been fed—I invite you to consider a new approach: one that brings all of you into everything you do.
I dive into my own journey of breaking free from the work/life balance trap, from my identity as an ambitious entrepreneur to navigating an ego-death in motherhood, and finally, to reclaiming my wholeness in a way that integrates every part of me. This conversation is for any woman who has ever felt torn between who she should be and who she truly is.
Tune in to hear:
- why the idea of “balance” is keeping us disconnected from our true power
- how to bring your full self into motherhood, work, relationships, and personal growth
- the moment that shattered my old paradigm and forced me to redefine success
- a radical new way to approach your life that actually feels freeing, not exhausting
If you’ve been struggling to juggle all the different pieces of your life and wondering why it never feels quite right, this episode will shift the way you see it all.
About the Host
Elizabeth Brett is a former NBC reporter turned modern-day priestess, mama, activator & guide. She’s been interviewed on The Today Show, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Shape Magazine, and Cosmo Radio, has changed countless diapers along with her career multiple times, and now guides women to remember who they were before the world told them who to be. She believes this is the key to wild abundance & soul-level fulfillment.
Her work is an invitation—one that challenges the rules of womanhood and motherhood as we know them, offering a new paradigm where success isn’t just measured by achievement but by the depth of one's aliveness.
Elizabeth lives in Austin, TX, with her beloved husband and two magical kids. She's known to show up in the school pick-up line wearing a unicorn horn, and loves a spontaneous dance party.
