Football is back! The 2025 Hall of Fame game | HuddleUK - Episode 20
After 171 football-less days, the sport we love returns on Thursday, 31 July with the annual Hall of Fame game - this year featuring the Detroit Lions and Los Angeles Chargers.
To celebrate, HuddleUK host Philip Marsh takes a look at which four players will be inducted into the Hall of Fame this week, their stories and what made them stand out on and off the field.
This year, Antonio Gates, Eric Allen, Jared Allen and Sterling Sharpe join the illustrious group of former NFL stars to officially become Hall of Famers.
Joining the huddle this week are Chargers reporter Fernando Ramirez, Vikings reporter Jeff Wald and UK and Ireland Packers founder Stephen O'Brien, while Eagles reporter Scott Grayson makes a return to the show.
We also chat to HuddleUK's Detroit Lions writer Archie Tooth, to discuss which players to look out for in Thursday night's game in Canton, Ohio.
