Hey Girl!!! Here’s your midweek reminder to celebrate the small wins—the quiet victories, the soft moments, the things nobody else may notice but you. Joy is all around you, and you don’t need permission to clap for yourself… ever.
Being the main character isn’t always easy, but it is yours. And while you’re out here building your story, don’t skip past the steps that got you there. Every little moment matters.
Girl put your glasses on. Girl put your glasses on. Girl put your glasses on.
SPEAKER_02Hey Boo. Come sit with me for a second. I just want to talk to you about something. So it's been on my mind, but I want to talk to you about the big win. Okay? Like, not the I made it, not the highlight reel, not the final glow up. I want to talk to you about tiny joys. The little moments that be slipping in quietly, doing their thing, building your life brick by brick, because bitch, we built this. No, but for real, you know that everyone wants to be there for the outcome. But girl, you and I both know it's the in-between that really be carrying you. And I've been sitting with this affirmation that I definitely want to share with you. And it's I notice and celebrate joy in the everyday. It's simple and cute, but actually living it, girl, that's a practice. Like noticing the way your coffee hit just right in the morning. Or the way you have that glass skin after you took an extra five minutes doing that skincare. Okay, I see you. Or better yet, when your favorite song comes on and suddenly, bitch, you the main character in your own little music video for 2.5 seconds. Those moments, that's joy. That's it, right there. And I think sometimes we be waiting on joy to be loud, big, boisterous, obvious. Like it gotta come with fireworks and a life announcement. But nah, sis, joy be quiet too. And she real soft. Joy is also in the nobody else is here to clap for me, and that's okay. Like when you finish something you've been procrastinating on for days, and you just sit there like, wow, I did that. Or when you finally decide to jump and start that fashion TikTok, I be seeing you too. And I'ma need them deeps on them jeans. That's growth, that's joy, and most of all, that's self-love in real time. And can we talk about how important it is to actually celebrate yourself in those moments? Not just notice it and move on, but like really sit with that moment when you hit that new PR at the gym. Say it out loud if you have to. I'm that girl. I did that. I'm proud of me. Right? Because who said you gotta wait for somebody else to clap for you? We not doing that over here. Over here, we clapping for ourselves, we hyping ourselves up. We're gonna be our own homegirl. Like, girl, you did your big one and it wasn't even that big, but it was. Okay? And the more you do that, the more you start to see how much joy is already in your life. It's not missing, it's not hiding, you've just been moving too fast to catch it. So slow down just a little bit, sis. Look around, be in the moment, feel your life while life is happening. Even though the world is on fire right now, there is still joy. You still get that paycheck, you still hit that PR, you may have had to push back some things, you may have had to rearrange some things, but guess what? You still took that trip, you still got your hair done. New nail set just came out just right. Yes, it did. You're still able to get your nails done. Okay, come on, somebody. I don't care if the world is on fire, I'ma still get my nails done. I know I'm not the only one. The reason why I'm encouraging you to slow down and find joy in the small things that you're doing right now is because one day these same small things are going to become the big thing that you prayed for. And you don't want to look up and realize you rushed through all the magic trying to get there. So today, we soft launch joy, we romanticize the small stuff, we let ourselves feel good without needing a reason. We don't need anyone's permission to do a damn thing. Not now, not then, and not in the future. Do you hear me? You do not need anyone's permission to do a damn thing. Especially not find joy to have joy, to feel joy. Okay? So say it with me. And let's be for real this time. I notice and celebrate joy in the everyday. Take a deep breath in and exhale. I notice and celebrate joy in the everyday, not just when everything is perfect, not just when I arrived, but right here in the middle of becoming. Find joy. Alright, boo. Go find you at least one tiny joy today. And don't play it smile either. Simply just let it be enough. I'm gonna call you back in a couple days so we can have a real kicky session so I can tell you what's really going on. But like I said, I just wanted to check in with you real quick because I know it's been a minute since we talked. But know that I'm always thinking of you. I love you, okay? And I'll talk to you later. Bye, girl.
SPEAKER_01Come catch a five with me. No more worries. We're living free. We're moving it. I tell you, it's such a good feeling when you get it, you'll hear such a
