Change doesn't start with what you do. Change starts with who you are. I'm your host, Kendall Keaton, and this is the identity advantage. Before we dive into this episode, I want to tell you what you're getting into here. Manifesting, it's a catchphrase that's thrown around a lot. Like manifest that shit. People say it all the time, but do we really understand what it is? And the first thing that attracted me to it was manifesting sounds like something that would make my job a lot easier. I'm trying all these things. I want all these things. And then I see my actual first exposure to it was uh the movie The Secret. And that was almost 20 years ago. Um, if you've seen it, you know what I'm talking about. If you've not seen it, you really should. Um, it is, however, a very shallow, kind of one-dimensional view of manifesting. And in their defense, you can only share so much in a 90, you know, minute documentary, but it does give you a very shallow version of kind of thoughts become things. I can just think something and it will appear, is kind of the vision you get when you watch this movie. And that was kind of my very first um exposure to this, and it sounded fantastic. It was a little corny, to be to be honest. If you watch the movie, it's a little bit corny, it's a little bit cheesy, but there was something in it that rang true. There was something in it that just felt right. That there was just, I felt like, you know what, there's something to this. And I dove deeper and I dove deeper and I dove deeper and it kind of became what I did. And I am, you know, here through the version or through the whole kind of existence of this podcast to share with you everything that I have learned and how I have used it to change my entire life. So hopefully you can do the same. But the first exposure I had, and maybe you had to manifesting, is simply that thoughts, if I think about something, it will show up. And while manifesting itself is not really a complicated thing, it is simple. It is more than that, though. It's more than just thinking of something and it's showing up on your doorstep. And I don't know if you are somebody listening who has just heard of the word manifesting, but doesn't know at all what it is, and you're here because you're curious. Maybe you know a little bit of what manifesting is and you've tried to manifest and nothing's happening, and you're you want help with it. You want to manifest bigger, faster, greater things. Whichever the case there is, you know, whichever case it is, there is one main thing that will block you from manifesting that will keep you stuck, and that is not understanding what manifestation really is. If you don't understand what it is, on surface level, it can seem very woo-woo, mysterious, magical, even witchy, and it's not. Right. And that's what I want to do here with you today, and through the length of this podcast, is I want to show you that manifesting isn't magic. It is science. But it's when you treat it like a science that it starts to feel like magic. Because there is a very practical side to manifesting that you can use in your everyday life. It's not as ethereal as it would seem. It's not untouchable, it's not magical, it's just not something that we're taught as children. I wish we were, but we aren't. As we get older and then we start hearing this word thrown around, and we're like, hey, what's that? Right? We don't have a deep understanding of it. And if you don't really understand what manifesting is and how it works, then you won't fully trust the process. And if you don't trust the process, there's gonna be doubt. And if you doubt that it works, then it won't work. No matter what manifesting exercise I or any other teacher gives you, no matter what books you read, no matter what meditation or journaling you do, if there is any doubt at all in your mind that it doesn't work, then it won't work. And that's what I want to accomplish today together is to take that doubt, get rid of it, and we do that by breaking manifesting down so I can show you scientifically what it actually is. In your everyday life, how is manifesting showing up? Right? What is what is the law of attraction? And I want to clarify something because people will talk about the law of attraction and manifesting, but not always together. Some teachers will even talk about them like they're separate things and they're not. Okay, that's the first misconception is that they are not separate. You can't separate them, and you can't manif manifest without using the law of attraction. The law of attraction is exactly what it says that it is. It is a law, it is a physical law through which manifestations come to be. You manifest by using the law of attraction. And all the law of attraction is, it's very, very simple. It just states that like attracts like. Like frequencies will attract like frequencies. That is all it is. And it shows up every day in ways that you're already using, that are already right in front of your eyes in existence. And I want to show you a couple of examples to kind of illustrate this. And I want to think, kind of look at this through the context of your senses. You have five senses, right? You have your sight, your hearing, all that, like those senses. Okay, sight, sound, touch, all those things. They are frequencies, they're vibrations that we interpret, right? Sight, when we see something, it's a light, right? That hits our retinas. We interpret it, it lives on a spectrum, it is a frequency, right? That has been proven. We can see that, you know, on charts. Sound, same thing. You've seen a sound wave. It's a frequency that we hear, we interpret, we know what we've heard. If you've stood too close to a speaker, you have felt the frequency of sound. It has affected you physically. We don't see it, but it does exist there, right? Um, touch, you feel something. You touch something. Is it hard? Is it soft? Is it rough? Is it cold? Is it hot? Do you like it? Do you not like it? You're interpreting the vibration of whatever it is that you touch, right? All of your senses work as vibrations, right? Now consider sound in the in the context of law of attraction, right? If you were to walk into a music store or anywhere, let's say there's like three to four guitars laying down, and you were to strum the C string on one of those guitars, you could see, okay, you would be able to see if you look closely, the C strings on the other instruments start to vibrate just a little bit, right? Not the A string, not any of the other strings, just the C strings, right? Because the C frequency is active in those strings, right? The C string on one guitar will vibrate the C strings on the other guitar. It's a frequency that sets off, right? We just can't see it, and it activates the other C strings. Okay, another example would be, and this has been used a lot, but I want you to listen to it in this way, is that a radio tower, right? If you were listening to the radio, there is a radio tower somewhere that is emitting the frequency, the wavelength of said radio station, okay, 102.5, whatever it is. And you, wherever you are in your car, on your phone, you know, at home, set your radio to 102.5. It sends out a wavelength, right? Sends out a frequency. Those two frequencies are attracted, literally magnetized to one another, and you hear what the radio station is putting out on 102.5. If you were to change your station to 95.1, you would no longer be attracting 102.5, okay? You would no longer be magnetizing it. You're now that frequency set off on your radio station is going to magnetize to the 95.1 being sent off by that radio station. You are attracting a different frequency because you emitted a different frequency. That is the law of attraction right there. And you have a sixth sense. This works for all of our senses, right? Sight, hearing, touch, smell, all of it. Taste. You have a sixth sense, and that sixth sense is your emotion. And it works just like your other senses. Your emotion is a frequency, it is a wavelength. And every emotion you have, there are dozens of different emotions. So something we will talk about in a future podcast. Okay, so if that is interesting to you and you want to know about that, you better follow because I don't want you to miss it. It should be in our first three episodes. But your emotions are a wavelength. There are dozens of them, and they all emit a different frequency. The wavelength for anger looks and acts very different than the wavelength for hope or joy or fear or grief, whatever that emotion is, it is sending out. Okay, it's sending out a frequency. It's sitting out of, it's sending out a vibration. Right? And whatever you are feeling and sending out is something you are going to attract. If you are angry, you are going to more likely attract interactions with people who are angry, or you're gonna end up attracting anger out of the person you're talking to if you are angry. If somebody comes up to you and is very angry, you instantly get angry back. Right? Their angry vibration attracted an angry vibration out of you, out of you. And that is happening all the time on this default mode without our control. Have you ever walked into a room and instantly thought, ooh, there's a bad vibe or a bad vibe in this room. No one said anything to you, no one did anything. You just walked in and thought, ooh, like I just walked in on a bad joke or something. Like everyone has felt that before. Vice versa, you can walk into a room and feel like, oh, there's good vibes in here. You felt that you interpreted it because there was an emotional frequency that was active and it attracted and pulled that out of you. This is the law of attraction and action. It is happening whether you're using it on purpose or not. You are already manifesting things in your life through the law of attraction. Whether you believe in it or not, it's working. The law of attraction can no more stop working than gravity could stop existing, right? Gravity exists whether you want it to or not. Long before we knew what gravity was, right? We still, a ball went up and it still came down. If we jumped off a building, we were still hitting the ground, unless you had something to fight the gravity. It's when we realized what it was, started learning about it, accepted that it was true, didn't doubt it at all, knew exactly how it worked, that we were able to overcome that. We have helicopters and airplanes and parachutes. That only exists because we accepted, understood, and learned about gravity and used it to our advantage. The law of attraction is the same thing. If you don't believe it exists, it's still working. You're still manifesting. You've created everything that you have. Okay, you've you are manifesting right now as we speak. But the question is whether you want to continue manifesting on default, right? Whatever emotions you feel most often through the day, everybody has a place on that emotional scale of frequencies that they live most often. Whatever that area is, that's what you're manifesting. And the question is, do you want to continue to do that and not know what's coming because you don't know what you're manifesting because it's happening on autopilot? Or do you want to start to manifest on purpose? Do you want to learn about it? Know how it's used, know the system, knows know the formula, and manifest and create on purpose. Right? Your emotions live on a spectrum, just like colors in the rainbow have different wavelengths, right? Sound, the hurts and the frequencies of uh of sound waves live on a frequency. Your emotions have that. Anger has a different frequency than hope. Excitement has a different frequency than fear, doubt, grief, joy, all of that. Dozens of emotions. And when you send out that emotion, when you are feeling that emotion, you are attracting more of it. That's the law of attraction. And through that, through sending out emotional frequencies over and over and attracting over and over, things began to manifest or things begin to manifest in your life. If you're feeling an emotion right now, you're attracting something to you. If you have ever felt an emotion in your entire life, you've used the law of attraction. Right? You're manifesting right now. So ask yourself this question. Okay, this is your question of the day, I guess if you want to call it. Do you want to continue manifesting on default mode? Those default emotions, wherever it is, you live on that scale. Do you want to continue as you are or do you want to choose to manifest on purpose? To live purposely, intentionally, consciously. It's all about becoming emotionally aware. Yes, it's about your thoughts, but more than anything, it's about the emotions that you feel on a day-to-day basis, understanding your emotions, learning to create the ones you want, the ones that feel good on purpose, over and over, and better things will begin to manifest for you. You can manifest purposely. That's what we're gonna do here. That's what I want to help you do. And this is just one of many, many conversations that we're gonna have about this. This is just not even 1% of what we're gonna work on together through these conversations. But today, just make that one decision. If you're gonna continue manifesting on default or if you're gonna start doing it on purpose. Because I will tell you one more time that you don't have a choice on whether the law of attraction is real or whether you want to manifest. You already are, you've already been doing it your entire life. You have to make the decision now. If you want to grab the reins, right? If you want to take back your power, you want to grab the reins and take control of your life and manifest on purpose. You want to manifest what you want, what you desire, what you dream of, because that is absolutely possible. You just make that decision. Okay, that's it for today. I enjoyed this immensely.
