Most manifestation teachers talk about thoughts and feelings—but they're missing the most important piece: ACTION.

In Part 2 of the Manifestation Formula, we dive into how to reverse engineer your cycles, rewire your subconscious beliefs, and take aligned action that actually manifests results.

You'll learn why 95% of your behavior runs on autopilot, how to consciously reprogram your patterns, and why your actions determine what you attract. This is where the spiritual meets the physical—and where real manifestation happens.

Change doesn't start with what you do. Change starts with who you are. I'm your host, Kendall Keaton, and this is the identity advantage.

SPEAKER_01

Today, this is part two of the manifesting formula. So if you've not listened to um part one, which is episode two, go back and listen to that. It gives you all of the foundational work for this. Um, but today uh we're gonna do the real work, right? This is where we're gonna get into the root of why you keep doing what you don't want to do or not doing what you know you should, the cycle, why it is the way it is, and we're really gonna get into day into how to change it, how to create a new cycle, how to use the formula to create a motor that will manifest for you. In episode two, in part one of this, we talked about noticing. Awareness is so key. You cannot fix what you don't feel. If you don't notice it, you can't change it. If you do not know that it's there, you can't do anything about it. So your four first step was not even to change anything, it was just to start noticing what was there so we know what to change. So you've identified your cycles. Maybe you don't have a lot, maybe you just have one. If you have several, I would suggest today maybe just picking one and let's just work at that. Right. So you've identified a cycle. We're gonna work a little bit backwards and figure out what is that result. What action am I taking or not taking that's causing that result? And then from that action, what am I feeling? What's the emotion I have before I'm taking that action? What's the emotion that is causing this action? Just FYI, your emotions should be one word. Emotions are a one-word thing. Are you feeling overwhelmed? Are you feeling doubtful? Are you feeling scared? Are you feeling hopeful? Are you feeling grief? What is it? Are you feeling anger? If your feeling, if your emotion is something like, I feel like this person doesn't like me. I feel like that is not an emotion, that is a thought. Okay, so get your emotion down to one word. It's a one-word feeling. And now once you have that emotion, we trace it back and say, okay, what is the thought that I'm thinking that is causing this emotion? What is that thought? And once you identify that, you have the thought, you have the motor. That's the motor, right? You have this thought is creating this emotion, is causing me to do this thing and it's giving me this result, and this result is making me think this thought over again. And now I have this belief, right? You've discovered that belief, that belief that you want to rewire. If you've ever heard the term like rewire your brain, rewire your core wounds, rewire. What you're rewiring is a belief, and you've just uncovered that belief. This is what you're trying to rewire, right? So, what do we do about this? What most people try to do first is change the action. Because the thoughts and the feelings are happening so far under the surface, we don't really see them, we just see the action. We just try to eat the salad, right? That's the action without figuring out the thought and the emotion that were making us eat the donut in the first place. So we don't, we still have that same thought, that same emotion. We have that motivation to go get the ice cream, but we're trying to do a good salad. If we just went back and changed a different emotion because we thought a different thought, we could have a different action. It would be a lot easier to eat the salad, right? To go work out, whatever it is that you're wanting to do, to put the money into savings, to go on the job interview, to write the book, to release the podcast. Whatever it is you're wanting to do that you're not doing is caused by that emotion. So you can't change the action without changing the emotion. And you know that because that's why you're here, because that's what you've already tried to do and it's not working. You're trying to change the behavior without changing what's motivating the behavior. And what create what creates motivations? Emotions. And what creates emotions? Thoughts. What creates thoughts? Beliefs. You're beating your head against a brick wall by trying to change the action without knowing the beliefs that's causing it. But now you know it. And now we're gonna change it. And you might be thinking at this point, what in the hell does this have to do with manifestation? What the hell does this have to do with the law of attraction? If you remember, if you go back to episode one, law of attraction is all based on your emotions. It's your sixth sense. It is that emotion that you're emitting. Your emotion that you feel is what's attracting every single thing to you. But there's this missing piece. There's a missing piece of manifesting that nobody talks about because there are a lot of teachers out there telling you you got to change your thoughts, giving you affirmations.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

And if you have ever said an affirmation that feels fake, like you're just telling yourself you're looking in the mirror and you're just saying, Oh, I'm beautiful, I'm beautiful, and you don't believe it, it's awful. That's an awful feeling, and it's stupid, and you think it's ridiculous, and you don't do it for very long, right? Stand in front of this mirror and tell myself I'm beautiful when I think I'm ugly as sin. I don't like myself. Affirmations can feel fake if they don't have an emotion attached to them. You can say and think whatever you want, but if you don't believe it, it will not emit an emotion. It won't bring up an emotion in you that matches that thought. And so your action will never line up with what you want. This is called aligned action. In order to manifest what you want, you have to be taking an action that aligns with it. Aligned action will be a whole nother episode, but I just want to make sure you understood, understand that this is 100% how you manifest, but we're just talking about in these in this two-part series right here, some of the science behind it. This is the application, this is the work, this is the homework that you that we have to do in order to manifest in this world that we live in. We are spiritual beings, but we are living in a physical body. And we are living in a physical world. And I don't know about you, but I want to experience physical things. I want to experience vacations. I want to experience game time with my family. I want to experience financial freedom. I want to experience having a job that I absolutely love doing things that I love doing that don't even feel like work. I want to experience traveling to destinations that are on my bucket list. I want to experience those things. And to do that, I have to take actions, physical actions in this physical world. Manifesting, and what I really want to drive home here is that manifesting feels like this ethereal thing, but it is not. Yes, there is a spiritual aspect to it, and we will get that. Get to that, you have to have that. But this is the first thing. You are a spiritual being, but you are living in a physical body, you are doing things in this physical world, experiencing physical things, you have to do and take physical actions. If we just sit, throw some earbuds in, listen to some theta waves, and say mantras over and over and over again, but we never do anything about it, you're never gonna get anything. You're not finishing the cycle. You're thinking and you're feeling. Some of you have got to that point. And I want to give you kudos right now for doing that. Some of you are working the thoughts, you're trying to feel the emotions. Maybe you've read the books, you've listened to the teachers, you listened to Abraham Hicks on YouTube, right? Or maybe you've even gone to some conventions, you've got some Joe Dispenza books, you're doing the work. You're standing in front of that that mirror and you're saying, I am confident, I am beautiful, I can, you know, like you're saying all the things. But if you're not doing anything about it, there's no follow-through. The action piece is the piece that has to change, but it cannot change effectively. It is not aligned action, it is not the correct action if it's not motivated by the right emotions and the right thoughts. They all have to work together. And what I have found in the years that I have researched and worked this and applied this to my own life, helped others apply it to theirs, is that very few people, if any, are talking about the whole picture. There are spiritual teachers, there are scientific teachers of manifesting, but it's putting them together, and that's what this motor is. But you can't use it effectively if you don't use both aspects of it. And it will take both aspects. It takes the spiritual side of you, it takes the reflective, introspective uh side of you, the eckhart tole side of you, combined with the physical action, uh, you know, do do do Tony Robbins Grant Cardone side of you. We're gonna marry those two together. We're marrying the we're we're combining the spiritual side of you with the scientific, physical, biological side of you. And this emoter is all of it. Your thoughts and your emotions, that's very much the spiritual side of you. The action portion of you, that is the physicality, that is the physical portion of you. And just this part right here today, we're talking about that physical portion portion. We're talking about the science behind all of this. I hope this is resonating. I hope this is not me on a soapbox talking to a brick wall. But this is this is not the script, this is not the direction. This episode, this podcast, this this conversation was originally gonna go, but I felt like I had to say that. You are a spiritual being living in a physical world. And to deny either one of those is to turn a blind eye to the process to your motor, to the way in which you are creating your life. It is giving power to circumstance, power to situation, it is giving power to other people, and it is making you feel like a victim, a victim of circumstance, a victim to the things around you. It is that life happens to me mentality instead of life have happens for me. And that's what we're gonna change together. Right? This is the start of this. So that was a tangent, but I feel like it was needed. To backtrack just a second, just a bit, where we started, was you have this cycle, and now we're reversing that, and we're gonna say, what is the action that I took? What was the emotion that caused it? And what was the thought that caused that? And then we can go and we can consciously, purposely change this and say, what is the action I want to take? I want to write every morning for an hour, but I haven't done it. Why not? What would I have to feel in order to take that action? Right? Because right now I feel I have a thought that there's not enough time. That feeling is now rushed, overwhelmed, stressed. The action is I don't write. Maybe even the overwhelm of feeling like there's not enough time is what causes me to sleep in. I feel overwhelmed, and now I feel more tired, I feel more stressed, so I'm just gonna press that snooze button.

unknown

Right?

SPEAKER_01

And now I wake up late, I don't have time for writing, and it reinforces that original thought of see, there's not enough time in the day to do everything I want to get done. That's a huge belief that people have that time is finite and there's not enough of it. You will make time for what you want to make time for. If you think the right thought that will create the right emotion, that will make you get up at 4 30 in the morning and do the thing that you want to do. Do the work on your on your dream job, on your side job, on your entrepreneurial business before you go clock in for somebody else's dream at 8 a.m. and build their dream. The part of this that changes everything is knowing yourself, know thyself. Know yourself well enough to know the thought you have to think to get yourself to feel the emotion you need to feel that creates the motivation that you need to do the thing you want to do. Do that over and over and over and over, and it will create results that reinforce the thought, create results that create that reinforce the thought, and eventually you have a belief that you have enough time for whatever you want to do, that you can accomplish anything you set your mind to, that you can do the thing. That's all we're doing here. That's how you rewire beliefs, that's how you rewire your your unconscious brain is about 95% of your motivating, if the motivating factor. 95% of your brain is subconscious and it's running 95% of your action. 95% of what you do is ran by this motor right here that's running on default. And when we change it, right? So let's put that into perspective. You are 95% subconscious acting on autopilot, right? We are subcont your subconscious controls more of what you do and your reality and everything that you have than your conscious part of you. That part is only 5%. But it's just little by little, if you can make that 6%, if you can make it 7%, if you can make it 10. You don't have to be conscious all the time. Right? It's near impossible. But what we do is we increase that conscious part of us while we're rewiring that subconscious part of this. You will never be fully conscious living. You're not gonna be 100% doing everything on purpose all the time. There's always gonna be a subconscious part of you. So what you can do is rewire that subconscious by working this motor to your advantage, by working this cycle every day, as much as you can. And I promise you, even though it feels work and it may feel overwhelming, I don't mean to make it feel like that. I apologize if I do, but I just want to drive this work, this point home is that this is what a journaling practice would be all about, right? This is what reflection, this is what meditation is. This should be the whole point of any of that that you're doing is to work with this cycle, to rewire this, so that manifesting mode in your world is on purpose. You're not always conscious of it, but you've rewired your subconscious mind so that you live in a different place on that emotional scale. Okay, and this is this is gonna be the next episode because I I don't know if I planned it that way, but it's gonna be now. This is gonna be episode four, is the emotional scale, because you have got to figure out where you live on that scale, because that's what you're rewiring. So then instead of you living in an emotion of whatever it is on default, if you wake up stressed every morning, right? If you have anxiety at certain parts of the day, if you feel depressed at certain parts of the day, it's figuring out what cycle is causing that, what thoughts are causing it and changing it so you can feel a better emotion more often than you feel a bad one. There really is no good or bad emotion. It's just, it's just contrast, okay. But for the sake of conversation here, we're just gonna say bad because let's say nobody likes feeling grief, nobody likes feeling fear, nobody likes feeling disgust, nobody likes feeling angry. Okay, sometimes anger feels good, okay, but it's only because it's higher on the scale than grief. Okay, it's why it's like part of the 12-step program from grief, is at some point you've got to feel anger, and sometimes anger feels good, but it's only because it's higher up on the scale. Eventually you want to move above that. All right, but the next thing we're gonna talk about is gonna be the emotional scale because I feel like I've got off on a little side tangent on this conversation. Um, but I hope it's resonated because it has felt good to talk about, and I just have to trust that that means somebody out there needed to hear this. So I'm gonna try to wrap things up here because this is that next step to the process, right? Is getting pen to paper. You already know the unconscious cycle, the one that's already working, okay, if you've done the work that was in the first part of this of this episode, and now it's using it on purpose, deciding what you want to feel, and deciding what thought will help you create that emotion. Maybe you need to start with the action. What is it that I want to do? What would I have to feel in order to get me to do that? I would have to feel confident or I would have to feel capable. I would have to feel like I have enough time. I would have to feel that would be a sense of peace, I think, of calmness. The thought, what thought would create that? What thought would create a feeling of confidence? What thought, and it's different, I would love to give it to you, but it's different for every single one of you. You are all individual beings. What thought would create comfort in me might create anxiety for somebody else. So this is something that you have got to do. This is the work, and it sometimes it is trial and error, figure it out. Okay, but awareness is key. If you don't have a reflection time in the morning or in the evening, I highly, highly, highly recommend that you do that. Just start with like five minutes. Just start with five minutes at the end of the day and say, can I think what was an action I took today that I was proud of? What emotion was I feeling when I took it? And what thought caused that emotion? That's a reflection right there. What action did I take today that maybe I wish I hadn't? Did I send a text to someone that I really wish I would have would have backed out of before I press send? If I did, what emotion was I feeling that I did that? And what thought was I feeling that caused that? If you can do it in the morning, if you can do it in the evening, wherever you can add it, okay, just take a couple minutes and do that. Be thoughtful in the morning with your five minutes. What's something I want to do today? What's an action I would love to take? What's a habit I would love to build? What would I have to feel in order to do that? What would I have to think in order to feel that emotion? Create your own cycle. This is manifesting in action. This is the law of attraction. It is feeling the emotions that motivate you to do the thing you want to do. And the action is the follow-through. And this comes from Abraham Hicks. Your actions will align you with your manifestations faster and better and quicker than any thought or any emotion. That is somewhat paraphrased. I don't know if that's the exact quote, but that's the thought of it is that your actions, without your actions, you don't, you don't get what you want. Without your actions, it's no follow-through. It's like a pitcher who throws a ball. Like if you've got a pitcher standing on the mound and he sees the target, he pulls his arm back, he's got the backswing, he's getting ready to take the throw, but doesn't really follow through with a pitch, it's not gonna go exactly. It's gonna go high, might go low, might go left, might go right, it's not gonna go right to the target. It's gonna veer off. It's gonna sideswap, it's gonna swerve. Okay, it's gonna hit the batter. Whatever. The action is your follow through. If you don't follow through, the ball's not going where you want it. The direction your life is taking is not exactly where you want it to be because you didn't take the action that followed through. And here's the thing is your default cycle, you're taking action on that every day. This the thought that doesn't feel good, the thing that you don't want that you're thinking about, causing you to feel this emotion you don't really like that's causing you to do this thing, you're following through on the thought you don't even want. You're manifesting the things you don't want because you're following through with the wrong emotions. Anything that you do out of doubt, fear, anger is following through on getting more doubt, fear, and anger. So the key to all of this is figuring out how to feel better more of the time. Not all of the time. We're not gonna feel fantastic, we're not gonna be on the upper portion of the scale all of the time, just more, just one percent more every hour. You take is aligned action. The question is, what is it aligned with? Is it an action that's getting more of what you don't want, or is it an action that's getting you more of what you do want? And the answer to that question lies in the emotion that motivated the action. Really hope that made sense. Whatever emotion you feel, if you act on it, you will get more of that emotion. Don't take my word for it. Just start noticing it. Just keep your eyes open. Be aware of the patterns that you see in your life and others' lives. And you will see and start backtracking and saying what emotion would have caused that. I bet it's the same emotion that you felt when you got the result that you got when you acted on it. That's all manifestation is. It is not magic, it is science, and it is backed with science. And it's backed with proof. The experience that you have in your decades of living, however many decades you are right now, one, two, three, eighty, or eight. If you look, and sometimes this is painful. I'm not saying this is easy because sometimes you're gonna find things about yourself that you don't like. And you have to be brutally honest with yourself and say, yeah, I was feeling jealous in that moment. Nope, I did do that thing out of anger. I justified myself in the act of it saying I was doing it for a good reason, but nope, it was done out of scarcity. It was done out of hate. It was done out of greed. Those things are not pretty to look in the mirror and see that. And I had to do that. I'm not asking you to do anything that I've not done. It is painful to look back. I know that I have done things out of jealousy. I have acted out of hatred. And what I got was nothing that I wanted. And I had to look back and stop blaming and say, nope, I did this because of somebody else. Nope, I only did that because of this. I had to go back and be really honest with myself and say, okay, I cannot blame this person. I can't blame this thing that happened to me for my actions, inevitably. And that's a whole nother conversation that we'll have. But when you start to get into this process, there is gonna be some painful stuff that you have to look at. And if you have a hard time being honest with yourself about that, you're gonna have a hard time breaking this cycle. So it's really important as you go through this that you don't judge yourself for this. We are all human beings. We are humans, we are imperfect, and I truly believe that given any circumstance, we're all capable of something. We're all capable of anything at all if the right circumstance perpetuated it. So don't judge yourself at this. Anything you've done, you've done. I think we have all done the best that we could do with what we knew at the moment.

Right?

SPEAKER_01

When and I I might misquote this. I think it was Brene Brown, but some, I think it was her that she said this. But actually, maybe it's my Angelou. I don't know. Sorry, I don't know who it was, but somebody really wise said that when you know better, you do better. We're all just doing the best we can with what we have. If I had known better, I would have done better. How many times have we said, if I had known then what I know now? Okay, I don't think there's a person listening to this that hasn't felt that or said that. If you had known better, forgive your whatever that is, forgive yourself for, because had you have known better, you would have done better. But here's the thing, now you know better. You are being told the secret, okay, for lack of a better term. That's what this is. It's it's you are being told now how to change if you choose to. Forgive yourself. Don't be judgmental. Let that go and say, you know what? If I had known better, I would have done better. I did the best I could with what I have, but now I know better and now I'm gonna choose to do better. I know the cycle, I know the formula, I know the framework. You can call this whatever the hell you want to. But it exists and you can choose to use it, and you can choose to create different results, create a different reality. That is within your power. So you can choose to take up those reins and take back your power and start creating on purpose right now, if that is the decision that you make. Thank you so much for listening. And if something you heard today made an impact or changed the way you think somehow, then share it with somebody you care about. Because sometimes it's that one moment, that one idea that changes everything. And until next time, remember if you want to do something you've never done, you have to become someone you've never been. That is the identity advantage.
