Most women don’t get stuck in survival mode because of fitness
They get stuck because their body became the first place they felt seen, valued, and safe.
In this episode, I’m breaking down a pattern I see in so many women who’ve experienced some level of body transformation .. weight loss, muscle gain, leaning out, competing, “getting fit”… and yet still feel on edge, obsessive, burnt out, or unable to slow down.
We’re talking about:
- why body transformation is often a woman’s first attempt at identity
- how compliments + validation become a nervous system safety loop
- why food noise, overtraining, and control aren’t discipline — they’re protection
- why your nervous system won’t let you rest, eat intuitively, or loosen the grip
- and why this can never feel sustainable long-term
This isn’t an anti-fitness episode.
And it’s not about “letting yourself go"
It’s about understanding why your body started carrying your worth, identity, and safety and how to finally move those things back inside, where they belong.
