Faith for Everyday
Go, Teach, Baptize
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
A single command can change how we wake up, work, and walk through our neighborhoods: go, teach, baptize. We take Matthew 28:19 off the page and into real life, showing how the Great Commission belongs not just to pastors or missionaries, but to anyone willing to be available. With stories from scripture and clear next steps, we unpack what going looks like when it means crossing the street as much as crossing an ocean, why teaching is as much about integrity and service as it is about words, and how baptism marks the joyful, public shift into a new life with Christ.
We draw courage from Peter at Pentecost and Paul on the road, and from nameless believers who shared good news at great cost. Their legacy is a map for ordinary faithfulness: pray first, look for open doors, speak simply, live consistently, and serve generously. You’ll hear practical ways to start small—offering encouragement that points to hope, sharing a short passage that steadies a friend, or practicing kindness in Jesus’ name—while trusting the Spirit to do the heart work we cannot. Along the way, we hold tight to a promise that changes everything: Jesus is with us always, even to the end of the age.
If you’ve wondered how to make a spiritual impact without a platform, this conversation will help you move from hesitation to humble action. By the end, you’ll see mission as a daily rhythm, not an occasional trip, and discover how availability matters more than ability. Listen, share with someone who needs courage, and leave a review to help more people step into the call.
Opening Scripture And Theme
SPEAKER_00Fulfilling the Great Commission. Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Matthew chapter 28, verse 19. Welcome to day 69 of faith for every day. Today we reflect on a call that echoes through every generation of believers, fulfilling the great commission. Matthew 28, verse 19 records the words of Jesus as he instructed his disciples. Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. This command, often referred to as the Great Commission, is not just a task for pastors or missionaries, it is a calling for every believer. Let us break it down. What does it mean to fulfill the Great Commission? 1. Go ye therefore. This part of the command is active. It requires movement. Whether it is traveling to distant land or simply reaching out to a neighbor, we are called to step out in faith. Going does not always mean crossing borders. Sometimes it means crossing the street. 2. Teach all nations. Sharing the good news involves more than words. It is about living a life that reflects the love and truth of Christ. We teach through actions, our testimony, and our willingness to serve others. And three, baptizing them. Baptism symbolizes a public declaration of faith and a commitment to follow Christ. When we lead others to Jesus, we are helping them take on the next step in their spiritual journey. Throughout the Bible, we see examples of believers fulfilling this call. Peter preached to the multitudes at Pentecost, leading thousands to salvation. We see that in Acts chapter 2, verse 38 to 41. Paul journeyed tirelessly to share the gospel, planting churches and mentoring believers. Even ordinary men and women in the early church carried the message wherever they went, often at great personal cost. These examples remind us that fulfilling the Great Commission is not about ability, it is about availability. God can use anyone who is willing. But you might be wondering, where do I start? Start small. Begin with prayer. Ask God to open doors for you to share the gospel. Look for opportunities to encourage someone, share a scripture, or extend kindness in Jesus' name. Here is the beautiful part. You are not alone. Matthew chapter 28, verse 20 assures us that Jesus is with us every step of the way. He says, Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. When you obey the Great Commission, you are not only fulfilling Jesus' command, you are preparing, you are partnering with Him in transforming lives for eternity. Thank you very much for joining me today on day 69 of faith for every day. As you reflect on today's message, ask God how you can be a part of His mission. Whether it is through prayer, giving, or sharing your faith, remember your obedience makes an internal impact. See you next time and thank you for listening.
