Birth Plans Suck. (& what I would do instead!)
If you were to ask almost any Labor & Delivery RN, OBGYN, Midwife or Family Doctor I think most would agree that the more complex a birth plan is, the more complex the birth ends up being. It is SO important to be a well informed, empowered advocate for yourself & your baby. However, the energy changes when we focus on all of the negative outcomes we want to avoid.
