Y'all may be seated. Y'all may be seated. Love it, love it. Let me hear it one more time. How many of y'all how many of y'all are excited to be here tonight? Love it, love it. Well, we have an amazing, amazing night prepared for y'all. First half was already wonderful and beautiful. Um, and I encourage y'all get your notes out, get your Bibles out. Pastor Jonathan always says, you get to heaven easier if you take notes. You cut the line a little bit. But it's gonna be a really, really good night, y'all. As y'all know, we are done with our unshackled series, and what a wonderful series that was. And tonight, we're pivoting as we step into uh today, isn't the new sermon series, but but we're leading into it. But we invited an amazing, amazing guest speaker out all the way from Christian Life Austin. He is one of the pastors there, and he is a man who he's given his heart to the Lord to be to be fully used, to be fully molded only by his hand, and what he preaches tonight is is from the Lord, y'all. It's from the Lord, and so I encourage y'all to lean in, lean in, take your notes, pray, and and just be be open and available to receive what God has in store for y'all. But I want y'all to give it up with me for Pastor Sam Lee from Christian Live, Austin.

Come on, how y'all feeling tonight? Let me ask you this: does anybody love Jesus? I don't know if I'm convinced. You know, I came all the way from Austin, Texas, and we've got a rowdy group of young adults who are radically on fire for Jesus, and I heard that that same fire was in this place. So, one more time, how many of you guys are in love with Jesus? Oh man. I knew I was in the right place. You know, I I love to start off by acknowledging and making sure that this is not about me. This is not about North Rock, this is not about any ministry name or any title. I have to first and foremost make sure everyone in this room understands why we're here. And it's to have an encounter with the Lord of Lords, with the King of Kings, with the God of gods, and that name is Jesus. Just like we just sang about. Man, I was standing in the back of the room and I was just glancing out at the room, and I just felt there was a hunger in the room tonight. How many of you guys came hungry? Hungry for the presence of God. Hungry? This is why I love this generation, uh, Zeke. I love this generation because you're hungry for the real thing. You're not hungry for a show. You didn't come here for a performance, but you came here because you believe that there's something special about the man named Jesus. And when he shows up into the room, anything is possible. And so I'm glad that I'm in the right place uh with the group of young adults who love Jesus. Uh, as Zeke said, my name is Sam Lee, and I traveled all the way from Austin, Texas, which is not very far at all. It's about an hour and a half up the road. Uh, not far at all. Uh, but I'm excited to be here with you guys, and I want to take a moment to honor. I want to take a moment to honor your amazing pastors, Pastor Jonathan and Alicia Moore. Come on, let's honor them right now. You know, I think honor is important for the next generation to understand that there were people who went before us who pioneered. Pastor Jonathan Alicia pioneering a move of God right here in San Antonio, Texas, so that you could come into this space today and have a radical encounter with Jesus. And so I just want to make make sure we honor. You know, honor actually opens up blessings for your life. Honor is good. We should honor it. So I just want to honor them and their amazing family. I I grew up with with their two boys, Mason and Britton Moore. Come on, we were in Sunday school together. They're incredible. Give it up for them as well. We were in Sunday school together all the way in Austin, Texas, before they made the move here to San Antonio, Texas. Uh, and so I love the family. I love North Rock. Um, and and I'm loving getting to know so many of you guys. I I was I was telling um Pastor Mason before I came up here, it feels like family already. I just feel like I'm at home. Is that okay? Like, is that okay if we just like we just talk like we're family, like we know each other. Is that cool with you guys? I just want to be real raw tonight. Um, and I hope that you guys came um prepared for that uh to hear the word of God. But I want to make sure before I get into the word of God that I honor uh the most beautiful, extravagant, uh amazing woman in this in the whole entire planet, my wife, Michaela Lee, right here. Come on. This is your sign that miracles are real. I shouldn't have got her. There's no way, there's no way, man. I'm still she she still hasn't caught on. She's way better, way better than me. Um, anyways, uh let's get into the word of God. Uh, let's go ahead and open up to Luke chapter 9. Um, who has a physical Bible? Anybody have a physical Bible in the room? Okay, we got physical Bibles. I know everybody who's saved. Okay, here we go. I'm totally joking. I'm totally joking. We're friends, we're friends. Come on. If you got to turn on your Bible, open up your Bible. Um, we're gonna be in Luke chapter 9, and I want you guys to stand to your feet. Let's go ahead and stand to our feet. I know this may be old school, old-fashioned. Every now and then I like to just take a moment to just stand to our feet and once again honor the word of God. Um, and so we're gonna be in Luke chapter 9, specifically starting in verse 28, and I'm going to be reading from the Passion Translation. The Passion Translation. If you got it, say, I got it. If you don't got it, say, hold up! All right, you better hurry up. The end is near. Oh, we're gonna have some fun tonight. Luke chapter 9, verse 28. Eight days later, Jesus took Peter, Jacob, or in some translations, James, and John, and climbed a high mountain to pray. And as he prayed, his face began to glow until a blinding glory streamed from him, a radiant glory illuminating his entire body. His brightness became so intense that it made his clothing blinding white as multiple flashes of lightning. All at once, two men appeared in glorious splendor. Moses and Elijah. They spoke with Jesus about his soon departure from this world and the things the Father destined him to accomplish in Jerusalem. Verse 32. Peter and his companions had become very drowsy, but they became fully awake when they saw the glory and splendor of Jesus standing there and the two men with them. As Moses and Elijah were about to return to heaven, Peter impetuously, or I would even say impulsively, blurted out, Master, this is amazing to see the three of you together. Why don't we stay here? Somebody underline that right there. Why don't we stay here and set up three shelters? One for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah. While Peter was still speaking, a radiant cloud of glory formed above them and overshadowed them. As the glory cloud enveloped them, they were struck with fear. Then the voice of God thundered from within the cloud. This is my son, my beloved one. Listen carefully to all he has to say. When the thunderous voice faded away and the cloud disappeared, Jesus was standing there alone. Peter, James, and John were awestruck. But they didn't say a word to anyone about what they had seen. God, our hearts are open to you tonight. However, you want to speak to us, we're prepared, we're ready. Remove all distractions. God, I feel like that exact same cloud and that exact same glory is already in this room. And so would we embrace it? Would we acknowledge it? Your presence is already in the room and transforming lives. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen and amen. You can go ahead and be seated. Let me ask you a question. Have you ever been in a moment in your life where you simply did not want to leave that moment? It was a special moment, it was an impactful moment. And it impressed something on you so much that you said, I don't want to leave this moment that I'm in. Anybody ever been on a date before? Anybody ever been on a date? Okay. A couple of you guys. I'm glad. That's good. A couple of you guys. Uh, how many of you guys are dating or married? Anybody dating or married in the room? Okay, okay. How many of you guys are single in the room? Oh, look at that. They put their hands up so quick. Come on, you can put your hand down. Some people held it up there looking around. I said, Who else? Who else in the room is single? All the single people. Don't ever say I never did anything for you. You should have been looking right there. That's what you should have been doing. I know the lights are dim or whatever else. Find them after service, find them after service, right? But you've been on that date before that was just special. Maybe it was the first date, and there was just magic. There was just sparks. Or maybe it's the first time that you ever you ever kissed. It was like, oh my gosh, this magical, magical moment. Or maybe it was the first time that you said, I love you, and hopefully they said I love you back. And if not, that's really awkward. And hopefully they're not in this room. Um, but but but have you ever been in a special moment like that with that special someone, that special person, that you just thought to yourself, I never want to leave this moment. Anyone ever been to a concert? Maybe uh your favorite musician or your favorite artist, and and you've been at this concert for an hour or two hours standing on your feet, and you're singing at the top of your lungs, and it's just this special moment, and you're you know every single lyric, and you know every rap lyric or every song, you know, every chord, you know, you know every verse, you know everything. It's a special moment. It's magical when you think I never want to leave this moment. Did anybody I I like to kind of have like a response moment. Uh, did anybody grow up going to like a camp, like a church camp or conferences? Anyone in the room? Okay, okay, some of you guys kind of grew up like me. So I grew up going to camp, and camp was special. Matter of fact, I remember a very special moment at camp. God was completely wrecking me in this moment. I'm standing towards the back of the crowd, and there's people uh ahead of me, and I kind of have a lot of space to myself, and there's this powerful worship moment, and and we're all singing at the top of our lungs, and guys, I'm bawling my eyes out. I mean, like the ugly cry, like schnack coming out of my nose, onto my shirt, and onto my shoes. Like this is that type of a moment. I'm like, I'm getting wrecked by you, God. Oh my gosh. And there's this moment, right? And and some of y'all know how this goes. When when like the the chorus like comes on of the song, and you know everybody's gonna be like, I raised my hands. Like that's the moment, right there, right? It's building, then like the drums are building, the music is building to this moment, and I'm here and I'm just crying, I'm blowing my eyes out, and it's just a powerful moment, and all of a sudden, builds to the top, and I raise my hands with everything I've got in total surrender. Special moment. But let me tell you, when I raised my hand, I felt something off. As I raised my hand, I felt the warmth of someone's body as my hand traveled into the sky like this, and to my surprise, I'm not proud of this moment, but in this glorious moment, I had uppercut a young lady who was at the conference, just bah, just knocked her out. And I and in this moment, I'm like, oh my gosh, what's going on? I turned back, and I'm I kid you not, look at what's running like this lady. She's like running, and I'm like, maybe she's praying, maybe she's having a powerful moment, and I'm standing over here, and I'm like, oh, hallelujah! And I'm looking out the corner of my eye, and there's something inside of me that says, it says this, it says, uh, you should go check on her. But I didn't want him leave the moment. Come on, I'm over. I just she'll figure it out. Hallelujah, here we go. My God, my life's for you. Right? This powerful moment. Have you ever been in a powerful moment like that? Where you said, I just don't want to leave this moment. See, we we tend to love these moments. These moments kind of resemble a mountaintop experience, a mountaintop moment in which Peter, James, and John are actually experiencing in Luke chapter 9. It's this special moment that's defined by revelation and oftentimes goosebumps and feelings and divine inspiration and just this holy, holy, special moment. This is exactly what Peter, James, and John are experiencing. Jesus is shining and there's this radiance. Literally, it says that there's it's almost like lightning is coming from within him. Flashes of lightning, blinding to the eye. His entire body is white. I probably cannot even see him. It's a glorious, glorious moment. They're experiencing this mountaintop moment. And Peter does what most of us would have done. This is a powerful moment. You've got Moses, you've got Elijah. We're all together with Jesus. And you know what he says. Can we stay here? I don't want to leave this moment. This moment is too special. Can we stay here? He asks God that. And in this moment, God God comes down, and this cloud is what does the scriptures say? Um, this glory cloud comes down, and and it almost cuts off Peter. It interrupts Peter as he's speaking and he's making this request. And the glory comes down and it confirms who Jesus is. And he says, This is my son. Will you obey him? Or you follow him. And essentially, in this moment, what I felt like God was doing to Peter was he was saying, Peter, you can't stay here. I know this moment is special. I know this is a powerful moment. I know you think you can stay in this place your entire life, but can I tell you something? Peter, you can't stay here. The title of my message for tonight is simply this we can't stay here. We can't stay here. I want to break this concept down for us because I think many of us experience these holy special moments. And oftentimes God is saying the same thing to us. You can't stay here. See, I believe that humanity always desires to live on the mountaintop. We love mountaintop moments and experiences. Things feel better on the mountaintop. There's no stress on the mountaintop. All your plans work out on the mountaintop. You feel blessed on the mountaintop. Life is easy on the mountaintop. And if we're not careful, you know what these mountaintop moments will become? They'll become hype moments. See, a mountaintop moment, if we're not careful about how we steward it, will no longer be holy. But it'll actually just be hype. There'll be a lot of energy, there'll be a lot of excitement. And so what will define it will not be how holy it is, but actually how hype this moment is. Listen, can I tell you right now, we cannot be a generation who is looking for something hype. We've got to be a generation that's looking for something that's holy. I love how excited this generation is. I love your zeal. I love your passion. I love how every one of you has a TikTok and you want to post scriptures. And I know everyone in this room wants to preach like Philip Anthony Mitchell. Like I know every one of us knows every elevation song, and we can sing it at the top of our lungs. I love that you want to go out and evangelize on the streets in San Antonio. I I love, I love the energy and I love the passion of this generation. But my fear is that we're chasing something hype. And we're not chasing something holy. We've traded this beautiful holy moment for something that is hype. And here's the issue with the hype is that when the hype fades, the problem still persists. When the hype fades, the depression is still there. When the hype fades, the sin cycle is still unbroken. See, when the hype fades, nothing has changed in your life, and you go from hype moment to hype moment to hype moment to hype moment, never truly experiencing real transformation. I think this is exactly what Peter was experiencing in this moment. Like, like you have to think about this. By this time, Jesus has already conveyed to Peter, hey, you're gonna live a terrible life. You're gonna be persecuted. He's already seen the persecution. Jesus has already begun to predict his death. And so, Peter, the backdrop of this whole entire conversation is that all Peter knows is that what's coming ahead is pain. So when he gets into this holy moment, when he gets into this special divine moment, of course, like any of us, he says, I want to stay. And I think this is one of the issues that I've found within Christianity, is that oftentimes holy moments are actually just moments to distract us from pain. I've heard people say things like, Well, yeah, when I got into the church, I just left my problems at the door. And I'm like, But you're about to leave. What do you mean? Well, when I just whenever Jesus be the next, man, we start singing that song. And my problems, I just forget all about them. And I'm like, okay, but what happens when you remember them? What's gonna happen then? And so my fear is that we go from these holy moments to holy moments that are distracting us from the pain. And the reality is God never intended for holy moments to distract us from the pain, they were actually meant to strengthen us so that we can walk through the pain, so that we can have a boldness, so that we can have a confidence, so that we can walk in an authority. If you're coming here every single Tuesday, if you're coming here every single Sunday, if you're coming to the life group with a Bible study, and that's the only time you experience relief, then maybe you're just distracting yourself. And God's here today, and I think he's saying to someone in the room, why don't you just give it all to me? How about you come with your brokenness? How about you come with the pain? How about you bring that up the mountaintop? How about you bring that into the holy moment and see what God will do? Because I believe that God interrupts Peter. Maybe God is interrupting us tonight. He interrupts Peter and he says, Listen, listen. My glory can't stay on the mountain. I think this is what he was getting at. He was saying, My glory can't remain on the mountain. No, no, no, Peter, I need you to take it down on the mountain. And I believe he has the exact same charge to this generation that is sitting before me today. The the glory can't remain in this room. The glory can't remain at Easter. The glory can't remain at the conference. No, no, no. He's waiting for someone to wake up and say, you know what? It can't remain on the mountain. I'm taking it down the mountaintop. I'm taking the glory of God to my campus. I'm taking the glory of God to my home. I'm taking the glory of God to the darkest places. I'm taking the glory of God. It can't stay on the mountain. Come on, can I can I just motivate you for a second that what you have on the inside of you, the world so desperately needs. Can I tell you people are hurting, people are broken, people are confused, and you have the very thing that everyone is looking for. You have the very thing that brings peace, you have the very thing that brings wholeness, you have the very thing that brings healing. And it's on the inside of you. I'm wondering will you wake up and say, you know what, I'm taking that with me. It's not remaining here. Come on, somebody said, I want something holy. Not hype. Come on, lean over to your neighbors. I want something holy, not hype. Listen, this is this is I I want to make sure I make this very clear. That these holy moments should turn into holy lifestyles. Like these holy, I have to make this very clear. The holy moment has to turn into a way of living, a way of breathing, a way of speaking, a way of seeing yourself, a way of seeing the world beyond you. Like these holy moments have to become something more than just a moment. They've got to turn into a lifestyle. I want to talk about these holy moments and what I believe these holy moments can do for us. And this is this is this is what I've come to realize is that that holy moments, the first thing I want you to know is holy moments are fueled by prayer. Holy moments are fueled by prayer. You don't get holy moments without prayer. Watch this, Luke chapter 9, verse 29. Let's just go back and see what happens in this moment. Jesus. As he prayed, the glory came. As he prayed, it ushered in a holy moment. As he prayed, the atmosphere shifted, everything changed. Prayer precedes a holy moment. You know, I see that revival is happening all over the world. Revival is happening right here in San Antonio, Texas. Revival is happening in Austin, Texas. We're seeing thousands and thousands of young people who are coming to believe in Jesus. We're seeing revival happen all over. We're seeing the statistics, more Bibles bought than ever before, more Gen Z going to church than ever before. I literally I literally traveled over the past couple of weeks. I traveled to Rwanda in Africa and I went there and I'm in a room full of Rwandans who were in the same exact age range as you. 1,500 of them crying out on their knees, crying out for Jesus. Revival is happening everywhere. I was on a plane by a guy sitting next to a guy who lived in Europe. He lived in like Amsterdam area. And he said, Yeah, we're seeing revival happen here. We just started talking about Jesus. And um, I kind of gave him words for it. Because you know, sometimes you gotta give people words for what they're talking about. They're like, Yeah, there's something happening here. And I'm like, Yeah, revival is happening. He's like, Yeah, he started saying, like, yeah, yeah, there's like a real, you know, he's trying to say it himself. There's a revival happening here. It's funny. And he was like, man, it's crazy. You know what he told me? He said that the pubs are closing down. And he said, that's so beautiful. Revival is happening everywhere. There's a fire, it's happening. But what sustains the fire? Fuel. What's the fuel of a revival? Prayer. Listen, if we want to see a revival, and I last year I spent some time in in Austin um just articulating this concept I got a place on my heart was a forever revival. One that never ended. Ah, this isn't even in my notes, but I'm just so I'm just so giddy about this idea. God's just been downloading this into my heart. This idea of a forever revival. What if our kids' kids were still in the same exact revival room? What if, what if, what if our great, great, great grandchildren, listen, listen, there's like a thousand Orthodox by this point because revival is just happening all over San Antonio. Like, like, like just come can just dream with me for a second. Like, what if this was the last revival? I'm not saying listen, nobody's like, oh my gosh, that pastor's saying he's coming back tomorrow. No, no, no, that's all I'm saying. If he doesn't come back in 10 days or 10,000 years, doesn't matter. What if this was the last one? And people say they never went out. We've seen revival come and go. But can I tell you what will fuel revival? Prayer. Are you serious about your prayer life? Do you pray? Let it fuel revival. Listen, this moment is special because it doesn't say as they worked harder, the glory came. As they had better church attendance, the glory came. As they tithed, the glory came. You should be doing that. You should definitely be doing that. Like, like, like, no, no, no. It doesn't say any of those things. As they knew more Christian words, as they as they as they wore cross on their necklace. No, no, it doesn't say any of those things, but it says as they prayed, the glory came. Can I tell you the greatest thing that you can do in your 20s is develop a prayer life? Some of y'all are like, oh, we've heard this already before. And my question is, then why aren't you doing it? Y'all like, man, you're kind of harsh. No, no, no. I just I just want us to see something because we live. Can I tell, can I tell you something? Can we just be candid here? We we live in the Bible Belt. I drove here and there was like, I don't know, five megachurches before I got here. And here's here's the danger. I've worked in ministry long enough to be able to know the danger of ministry in the Bible Belt is everybody thinks they're saved. Ah, man! And it breaks my heart because everybody says, Oh, I'm a Christian. Oh, I go to a church. Oh, I go to a cornerstone, oh, I go to North Rock. Oh, I go to CBC, oh, I go to whatever, Thousand Hills. Like, I there's so many different names of churches, and it's like, oh, I go to a church, but my question is, do you know Jesus? And the sign that someone knows Jesus is that they have a prayer life. If you can't answer, what time of the day do you spend with God? Then you probably don't have a prayer life. And so here's my challenge. Listen, I don't need anybody to raise their hand anybody, that's me. But my challenge to you is if you don't know that time that you convene with Jesus, I think that's your first step right now. Don't move a muscle until you know your time that you pray and you spend with the Lord. Prayer is the fuel. Someone said, prayer is the fuel. Holy moments reveal who Jesus is. Holy moments reveal who Jesus is. I'm gonna move fast through this. I know we're running out of time here. Um this is what happens in this moment. God shows up in this glory cloud, and it says, He says, This is my son, my beloved one. In this moment, this is special. This is called the transfiguration of Jesus. You'll look in your if you if you'll if you'll see the heading in your Bible, this is the transfiguration of Jesus. This is this is the anointing, this is the special moment that distinguishes Jesus. And God comes down and says, Yeah, this is him. This is this is my son, this is the Messiah, this is the woman right here. This is that moment. Because the holy moment always reveals more about who Jesus is. Can I tell you something? That hype is about us. Holy is about him. Hype is about us, holy is about him. I've heard so many people say, Well, why are we seeing the types of miracles that they saw in the early church? Well, why aren't we seeing the tongues of fire? What you know, just like all the different things. Like, why aren't we seeing people raised from the dead? What and here's what I thought God was like whispering into my ear. Maybe it's because when we go to church services, the church services are more about us. Oh, here's the deal though. But when we're you guys are in an amazing place where your pastors and your worship leaders are all pointing and directing to Jesus. The question is when you come in here, and this isn't about them. This isn't about Pastor Jonathan, this isn't about uh North Rock. No, no, no, this is about the posture of your heart when you come in here. Are you looking for your favorite song? Are you looking for your favorite preacher? Are you looking for your favorite moment? Are you looking for something to post on your Instagram? Or are you here saying, God, would you reveal yourself to me? It changes everything. There's this beautiful moment in Revelations. I might have the scripture. In Revelations, there's this beautiful moment where there's these angelic beings. They're kind of creepy looking because they have wings and they have like eyeballs all over them. Okay, it's kind of weird looking. Just imagine like winged creatures with eyeballs. It's freaky. Um, it's like at a Lord of the Rings or something. Um so there's this, oh yeah, I think we do have it. Revelations chapter 4. I'm not gonna go into depth with it, but here's what the Bible tells us that happens with these winged creatures is that they spend their entire day in the throne room, singing the exact same lyrics over and over and over. The Bible doesn't tell us this, but I almost have a picture that they're like, they have they're winged creatures. Why would they be walking? I'm imagining that they're flying around. Morning, noon, and night. They're just flying around in a circle forever, never stopping. Wings on wings on uh eyes on their wings are flying around the throne room, just just like just staring at the throne. And I thought to myself, first off, I thought to myself, man, that would be a boring existence. I'm just being honest, I'm just a human being, okay? Um, so I'm just honest when I approach the scriptures. But but the second thought that came into my mind was, why why would these winged creatures be just circling around the throne? And why so many eyes? And this is what I feel like God revealed to me. Is that every single inch that they fly, every foot that they go, they get a new perspective about who God is. And so it never grows old. They're going in there singing, holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty. Every single inch, every single foot that they go, they're seeing something new, and they're being excited and reinvigorated because they're singing. And I know more and more and more about who you are, and I'm not taking my eyes off of you. I wonder if this is a room because when I enter into his presence, my eyes are locked in, I'm not distracted, I'm not looking to my right, I'm not looking to my left, but I'm looking at you, Jesus, and I'm saying, holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty. His presence would never get normal and never get old. You'll always be enamored by his presence. See, because a holy moment always reveals more about who Jesus is. Holy moments also propel you into your calling. Holy moments propel you into your calling. This is you may have missed it. But in this moment, God actually reveals a calling for Peter, James, and John. It doesn't look cool. It doesn't sound sexy. This is not like the calling that many of us would. This is what the calling sounds like. Listen carefully to all he has to say. What if that was the only calling you got? Listen carefully to all he has to say. You know what I've come to realize is that listening reveals willingness. Stay with me. Listening reveals willingness. And God loves a willing heart. He's like, will you listen to me? Are you willing? See, some of us are trying to discover your purpose and your calling. But truthfully, you're not willing. Like some of us, some of us are saying, God, will you tell me what my calling is? But every time you have the opportunity to join a serve team or a rock star team here, you're like, I'm too busy. Which do you want? God, God, will you just will you just tell me exactly? Will you will you share it to me? Will you just reach down and speak to me right here in this moment? But you you jump from church to church to church and young adult ministry to young adult ministry to young adult ministry so that you don't have to actually submit under any type of authority. God, will you will you just reveal to me why I'm here, what's my purpose, what's my calling? But every single time someone's in need, it's always inconvenient for you. Oh, well, I just got stuff to do. Well, I just got a lot on my mind, well, I just got work going on. Are you willing or not? I think I've heard the like the phrase every now and then. I don't I don't know, Michaela, you can maybe help me out with this, but it's like God doesn't like call the qualified, um, he like qualifies the called or something like that. And maybe that's in your bio, and I'm about to destroy it right now, okay? Um, because maybe there's a lot of really qualified people in the Bible that were called. Um, here's what I know called, not or qualified, not qualified, skilled, not skilled, you know what he's looking for? He's looking for someone who's willing. So here's what I know. I don't know if he's calling the qualified or qualifying the call, but here's what I know. He does call the willing. Are you willing? To do whatever. I just feel this in my spirit right now. Hey, if even in this moment right now you know there's a calling on your life, you know he's been calling you to something greater. Hey, will you just stand up right now? Will you just stand up? I don't care who it is. Yeah, it don't have to be everybody, but yeah. Come on, stand up, stand up. You're like, no, I know there's a call, I know there's something great on my life. I know, I know, oh yes, praise God, praise God. Hey, will you just put your hands out like this in a receiving posture? In the name of Jesus. You see every single person right here and right now who's got their hands lifted to you. They're saying, I'll go, send me. Wherever you go, wherever you take me, whatever the call, no matter big or small, no matter if it's on a stage or it's in a back room, no matter what it is, God, I will go. So right now, Father, would you quicken the people in this room right now, Jesus? Fan the flame in their hearts right now. God, would you even I'm praying this right now, would you clarify the calling on their life? Some of them are so confused, like I'm not really quite sure what it looks like. God, would you embolden those in the room who have been operating out of fear, Holy Spirit? Someone who's been just nervous and afraid and been timid in the name of Jesus. Right now, remove it. You didn't give us a spirit of timidity, but of power, a sound mind. So, God, right now, we just receive that. If you receive that, say amen. Amen. Put your hands together real big, real big, real big. You can go ahead and sit down for a second. I promise you, I'm coming to a close. He's looking for someone who's willing. Just God just put that on my heart. And you were willing to stand up. Some of you stood up and you're like, Man, I'm nervous. Some of you stood up and you're like, Man, my friend's here for the very first time, and I'm about to stand up and do this weird thing. Like, you did it. That's just a sign, that's just a faith step that says, I'm willing, God, I'll go wherever you want me to go. The final thing I want to hit on tonight is this is that holy moments produce the miraculous. I know some of us in the room are like, ah, the miraculous. I don't know about all that. But you'll notice something. I want you guys to, this is your homework. Go home and read the rest of Luke chapter 9. What does Jesus do immediately after this holy moment of his transfiguration? He goes down and he does a miracle. He literally sets someone free right then and there. A miracle takes place right then and there. Why? Because the holy moments always create something miraculous. It's holy moments where God starts to do something special in a room. I've seen it with my own eyes. I've seen miracles, I've seen signs, I've seen wonders. Just about a year ago, with a young lady named MJ. Her name is Mary Jane. She's been a part of our ministry for maybe about a year and a half or two years now. She first started coming, she was going to UT Austin. She was lost, not quite sure who she was. God just started moving in her heart, doing something special in her heart. She started catching on. So there was this one special night. We were praying for miracles. We were praying for anxiety. And I didn't know this. Many other people in the room didn't know this. But Mary Jane had struggled with anxiety for years. She had never been able to be set free from it. Some of us in the room, you're like, man, I resonate with that. I even resonate with that as well. I struggled with anxiety for years where I couldn't even sleep. Kept me up through the night. She had been struggling with anxiety and no one else knew. And finally, in just a moment of surrender, she says, God, I can't do this anymore by myself. She groups together with a group of girls who were there with her that night. They lay hands on her. Very simple prayer, nothing crazy. It wasn't shouting and screaming. It was just God, right now, would you come in and would you heal her anxiety? She's dealt with it for far too long. It's done. We're done with it now. God, would you bring peace to her heart right now? Would you equip her with the tools, God, to overcome this very thing that is just very simple prayer? It was special. I didn't know this in the moment. But months later, she came to me and she said, Hey, Pastor Sam, there was a special moment where I surrendered over my anxiety. Something I never thought was going to change. I never thought I'd be free from her. I never thought that I would feel the peace of God. And can I tell you at that moment, she was like, It's been three months since I've had an anxiety panic attack. I have no anxiety. And can I tell you what we're coming up on a year of her being completely free without anxiety? Come on, there's someone in the room. Maybe that's been your story. Maybe there's someone in the room today who you've prayed about it and nothing's happened. So you've just assumed, I guess God's not gonna heal me. I don't even need you to just, I don't even need you to like acknowledge yourself. I just feel led to pray over you right now. And here's the deal it's nothing special, it's not because it's me. Nothing special about me. You have the power of prayer. It's like each and every one, you have the same Holy Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Listen, there's nothing special about me, but here's what is special: is your faith. Ah, so here's what I want you to do. Would you just be willing? You don't even have to raise your hand high. If you if you've dealt with anxiety, I'm just gonna go for it. Anybody dealt with anxiety? Would you just put your hand just right here? Jesus. Jesus. Hold up on Jesus. So many hands around the room, so many hands around the room. If someone is sitting by you, even if you have your hand raised for anxiety, will you put your hand on their shoulder? Just on their shoulder, if you know them. Just put your hand on their shoulder right now. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. Come on right now. Hey, I'm gonna I'm gonna activate your faith. Can we just all begin to pray? And maybe your prayer right now is Holy Spirit, would you bring peace? Holy Spirit, would you bring peace? Maybe that's all you can say. I just want to give you about five seconds to begin to pray it yourself by faith right now. Just begin to pray. Pray over the person sitting right next to you right now. Come on, pray by faith. Pray by faith right now, Jesus. Right now, Jesus. Right now, Jesus. God, right now I'm praying for the person who's dealt with this for too long. I'm speaking right now in the name of Jesus to the person who's hopeless in the room, to the person who's given up, to the person who said, you know what, maybe I'll never be free. Maybe I'll never maybe I'll never be able to have peace right now in the name of Jesus. Would you bring a peace over them right now? God, and here's the deal: we don't have to understand it. Matter of fact, your word says that your peace is something that surpasses all of our understanding. And so, Father, right now I'm praying freedom over minds in the room right now. I'm praying freedom over minds in the room right now, God. Would you replace anxious thoughts with hopeful thoughts? Would you replace anxious thoughts with God thoughts? Would you replace anxious thoughts with thoughts of faith right here in the room right now, Jesus? We release it to you. I'm praying that someone who walked into the room feeling heavy is walking out of the room feeling light. I'm praying for the person who walked into the room and just couldn't stop thinking about that same thing over and over and over. Right now, we release it to you right now. Someone just said it, I release it to you. I release it to you. I release it. Come on, say it off your own tongue with the boldness and with the faith. I release it to you. Just say it to them. This is the God. We release it to you right now. We release it to you right now. We release it to you right now, God. I'm believing Jesus. Someone's walking into this room. And situations that used to make them anxious will no longer make them anxious. Right now, in the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Amen. Put your hands together real big right now. A holy moment like this that could change everything for you. Hey, don't walk out of this room and think, oh, I'm about to pick it right back. No, no, no. You're not picking it back up. You're not walking out of here and picking up the worry. You're not walking out of here and picking up the anxiety. You are more than a conqueror. You remind yourself of who you are. You're free, whom the sun says free is free indeed. I got so many miraculous stories. I don't even got time to tell these miraculous stories. Let me tell you a really cool story. There was a story of parents, a mom and a dad. They had some complications with their pregnancy. And they were receiving really bad news. Really bad news about this pregnancy. That the child would actually be born paralyzed. And so a series of months passed by after the doctors had told them this. They surrounded themselves with a group of people who are prayer warriors. Does anybody have a prayer warrior in your life? You got somebody who prays for you? Praise God. Good. Good. Cling to those friends, cling to those people who can pray for you in the hardest moments of your life. So they got around their church community and they began to pray and began to petition. The child was born. Luckily, the child was not paralyzed. But the doctor said that the child's gonna have to have a surgery in six months. The doctor said there's still a high percent chance that the child will be paralyzed from his neck down and most likely will never walk. And so these two parents, hearing this news, did what every single one of us should do. We they went to pray. They went into a holy moment, and the holy moment became a holy lifestyle. And it became continual prayer day and night for that child. The surgery came six months later. Child had the surgery, and they still were unsure if that child would ever be able to walk. Doctor said he's never gonna be able to walk. They continually told this family he won't ever be able to walk. Months later, the couple came in for just a routine checkup. They started this hallway walking into. This hallway. As they came walking in, nurses began to rumble. Began to come to each and every nurse, and every doctor and say, Hey, come outside. Hey, come out here, come see this. Come, hey, you have to see this. So every single doctor and every single, even patients, I mean, patients who are there getting treated for themselves are now outside of their rooms and they're looking down, like, what's going on? What's what's going on? And to their surprise, you'll never guess what they saw. They saw that little baby that doctor said would never walk. Walking down the hall using his legs, using its lower extremities. And can I tell you something? You want to know why I know that this works? Because the doctor said that I would never walk. Because the story's really about me. Because the doctor said that I would never jump. I would never do it. I never talk. I never put it. It's a different point for you. I don't care what they said. I don't care what the doctor they said. God, it's a miracle working, God. Your faith is high right now. I want to pray for physical healing in the room right now. I don't care what you came in here with. I don't know if it's a knee. I feel like somebody came in with knee pain, back pain. Um, just any type of pain in your body or even sickness, autoimmune disease, anything. Just raise your hand. Any type of sickness, that you're like, I need a miracle. I need a healing. I don't care if your ankle's been hurting, you're like, I'm just used to it. No, no, no. Raise your hand. I want to just believe by faith. Huh. Let's see what God will do in a holy moment like this. Come on, I've seen him do it. I believe he'll do it in your life. Come on, keep your hand raised. Keep your hand raised. I want to pray over some people in the room. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Okay, they're gonna put their hands on Laura. Listen, there's no gimmick. We're not forcing God to do anything in the room. We just know that where Jesus went, miracles happened. We're just doing we're just doing what the Bible says should happen when we're in the presence of God. Okay? And we're just gonna exercise our faith. Can you stretch your hands towards Laura? I know you have your own problems, I know you have your own issues, but sometimes just putting someone else's first. God will begin to do something. Can we just begin a prayer over Laura and her back pain? As if she's your sister, as if she's your best friend, as if you've known her your entire No, no, no. Pray with a boldness. Pray right now, God, would you heal her back in the name of Jesus? God, we're praying over Laura. God, she came in here tonight and maybe she didn't know what was gonna happen. She didn't know that she was gonna get healed, but I'm praying by faith, God, that healing is coming to her back, God. That she may have walked in here and I don't know how long she's dealt with the pain in her back, but God, I'm just praying and believing that today is the last day. I'm praying and believing that she won't carry this on, that this won't be something that goes on for months and months and months. She won't have to go to doctor after doctor in the name of Jesus. I know something about back pain. I think it's special that I came over here to pray over her back pain right now, Jesus. I'm praying healing over it, Jesus. Would you do the miraculous? Would you release the tension out of her back right now? Would there even just be a warmth that would come over her back? Just a release over the tension, over the pain that's right there, Jesus, that she walked in here with. We pray it by faith. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen and amen. Put your hands together if you believe God's doing miracles. Hey, I want to pray over uh anyone who has back pain in the room today. Just raise your hand. And here's the deal. We pray, and she said, you know what? I'm still feeling a little bit of pain. I'm not intimidated by that. God's not intimidated by that. That doesn't mean that he doesn't heal. That doesn't mean he doesn't do miracles. What do we do? We show up and we pray again. How many times would you pray? How many times would you believe? If you've been having any back pain, just raise your hand right now. In the name of Jesus, I'm praying over every single person whose hands raised in this room. Any back pain that they came in here with, God, sciatica, God, father, anything, God, in the lower parts of their back, in the middle parts of their back, in the upper parts of their back, God, issues that they've had for years. I'm praying by faith, Jesus, that you're doing something miraculous in the room, that you're healing someone's back pain. That God, tonight will be the night last night. That they say, you know what, I'm dealing with some back pain, God. They'll be able to run like they couldn't run before, they'll be able to lift weights like they couldn't lift weights before. They'll be able to stand like they couldn't stand before, they'll be able to sit like they couldn't sit before God because you are a miracle-working God. Would you align things that are out of order right now in the name of Jesus? In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen and amen. Hey, I I'm I'm out of time, but I just I just can I pray for one more thing, just one more thing. I just felt in my spirit. Um, I put it in my notes. I I wrote it down right before I came up here. Uh, let me try to remember how I said it. Um you feel like you're in an impossible situation. You may have received just some bad news recently. And it feels like you're set back. Those are some of the words that I feel like just kind of God was trying to bring into my heart. Like you feel like you're set back, you feel like you're in an impossible situation. Maybe you receive some news that they that you didn't really want to receive, and it's just been really heavy on your heart. Um I I I I just want to pray over you, even if it's just one person. Did any of those things resonate with anybody in the room? Anybody? Okay, good, good, good. Hey, raise your raise your hand real high, real high. I want to make sure I I see who I'm speaking to. I want to make sure I see who I'm speaking to. I want to make sure I see who I'm speaking to. Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Hey, if someone's right by you and put your hand on their shoulder, once again, we're a community that's gonna pray over one another. It's not just gonna be my voice, it's gonna be your voice. And you'll be able to look back and say, man, look at the miracles God did right here on this night. And so, God, right now, you see every single impossible situation. You've seen the person who's been in tears. You've seen the person who's had the who even came in here today and put on a smile, but internally, they're in chaos. You've seen the person who's disappointed. Someone's just disappointed in the room, God. Father, you see their disappointment. Here's what I know you comfort those who mourn, God. Would you bring a comforting to them right here and right now, Jesus? God, for the person who feels like they're in the middle of a situation that seems impossible, God, would you show them that with you nothing is impossible? God, would you restore hope to the hopeless in the room tonight, God? For the person who's given up, God, would you put a fire in their belly that says, you know what, I'm gonna keep on going. I'm not quitting, I'm not stopping. I still got faith, I'm gonna keep on going right here and right now. Would you stir up the faith? Would you stir up the faith? Would you stir up the faith right here and
