[00:00:00] this poem, truths Hollow speaks to that deep, uneasy hollowness we can feel in our body when we turn away from our truth. It describes how that quiet knowing. It doesn't simply disappear. It lingers beneath the surface, pulsing through us, reminding us that something is misaligned. That feeling of betrayal, of being out of integrity with ourselves often shows up as heaviness, unease, or restlessness.
This poem also reminds us that the antidote is always available. Choosing honesty, courage, and the tender bravery of listening to your soul's voice to honor and express your truth is not always easy. It does take strength, integrity, and trust. Yet when we commit to it, the hollow begins to fill and we are guided back to a more authentic way of living.
As you're listening to this poem, I invite you to reflect where in your [00:01:00] life do you notice the hollow feeling of holding back your truth? And what would it look like to give your soul's true voice a little more space today? Now for the poem, enjoy
truths Hollow. There is a hollow feeling that makes me feel unwell. It wanders, aimlessly and empty. Kept quiet behind its veil. A quiet, distant knowing. Pushed out of sight today, suppressed inside my heartbeat. Chanting endlessly kept at bay. It's always there. This feeling when my soul knows it's betrayed from the wanton eerie chatter that causes through my veins.
I only know one remedy, and this I know for sure. It's the honest, tender, bravery of my [00:02:00] soul's true voice, trusting and pure. To put faith in one soul, truth is not an easy feat. It requires bold and brazen, true trusting swords of honor to defeat.
