A soulful reflection on creative intuition, sacred timing, and creating from truth instead of pressure

In this gentle episode, Sam shares an original poem written following a deeper reflection on creative intuition and soul-led action.

Sacred Love explores the tension between external pressure and the quieter, more honest call of the soul — the part of us longing to create from truth, emotion, intuition, and self connection rather than performance or expectation.

Through imagery of brush strokes, whispers, paint spatters, and sacred timing, this piece becomes a reminder that creativity cannot be forced… only listened to.

This is an invitation to soften the noise, honour your own rhythm, and reconnect with creativity as something deeply personal, healing, and alive.

 Ep116 -poem - sacred love

[00:00:00] This episode is a poetry mini-sode. I created this poem on reflection of this month's creative intuition episode. This poem emerged from a deeper reflection on what it means to create from truth instead of pressure.

It speaks to the quiet reclaiming that can happen when we stop forcing creativity to fit external expectations, and begin honoring the natural rhythm, timing, and emotional depth of our inner world instead. At its heart, this piece explores creativity as something sacred and deeply personal, a conversation with the soul rather than a performance for approval.

It reflects the tension between surface-level validation and the deeper call to create from honesty, intuition, emotion, and self-connection. Through imagery of paint, whispers, balance, and emotion, the poem invites us back into a more intuitive relationship with creativity. One guided less by pressure and [00:01:00] more by presence, trust, and the courage to listen within.

As you listen, you may wish to gently reflect on this: Where in your creative practice have you been creating to meet expectations, and where are you being invited to create from something deeper, quieter, and more true? Now for the poem. Enjoy.

Sacred love. In between sacred desire and surface-level praise. Lay brushstrokes and sketches and the faintest haze. You don't own my clock. You won't steal this from me. My schedule is soulful. We must both let it be. The whisper to begin does not want mental chatter. Fake promises and grand gestures, they simply don't matter.

The deep call from within, the voice that won't settle, the parts [00:02:00] seeking art don't easily rattle. Shut out the noise all around. Discover the wisdom underground. Paint spatters and jewel tones. Find balance in my painting's bones. Filled with generous emotion, healing and pain, oozing love and light into every day.
