Built in 1882, the massive iron-producing plant became one of the most dangerous industrial sites in the south, where brutal working conditions and deadly accidents claimed countless loves over the decades.
Tonight, we descend into the smoke-stained ruins of one of America's most infamous haunted landmarks. Is Sloss Furnaces simply a relic of Birmingham's industrial past...or are the spirits of the workers still trapped inside the heat and steel?
