- He speaks light into existence, separating light from darkness (Day 1).

- He gathers waters to reveal land and creates vegetation (Day 3).
- He places the sun, moon, and stars to govern time and seasons (Day 4).
- He fills the sea with creatures and the sky with birds (Day 5).
- He makes land animals and creates humans in His image, giving them dominion over creation (Day 6).
