Scriptures 4 Life, A Prayer for You
Feeling overwhelmed and like life is crushing you? You're not alone. "Scriptures 4 Life, A Prayer for You" offers a space to breathe, find calm in the chaos, and reconnect to our heavenly Father. Each week, I'll reflect on a meaningful passage of scripture and share a guided prayer. I believe prayer can strengthen our faith, deepen our trust in God, and remind us of God’s power to work in our lives, even when things feel like they're falling apart. If you’re feeling broken, defeated, and everything in between – pray with me and watch God do extraordinary things. My hope is that, together, we can rediscover that elusive peace and find a renewed sense of faith in the name of Jesus. We walk with Jesus to the gate of Nain, where compassion halts a funeral and a word brings the dead to life. From there we speak to weary hearts about prayer that sounds like tears, the mercy of God, and a bold return to trust.
• the miracle at Nain and what compassion looks like
• when words fail and tears become prayer
• God’s names as anchors for trust
• the call to stop weeping and look up
• confession, return to first love, and mercy
• a corporate prayer for help, healing, and turnaround
In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

When Prayers Feel Like Tears
SPEAKER_00Brothers and sisters, I know you might be sitting there right now, right where I am, in what feels like a truly difficult season. Maybe you run out of words. Every time you try to pray, your lips move, but the words never come out. Maybe all you have left are tears. So your prayers turn into a moan with tears that rush down the slopes of your cheek like a great waterfall. You are tired of fighting, and you're tired of trying to be strong. You just want to stop, you want to give up, so you cry and you cry some more and more and more.
God’s Voice: Do Not Cry
SPEAKER_00But God is saying to you today: don't cry. I know what you are going through and you are not alone. I have heard your tears. I am Jehovah God, the God that healeth thee. I am bigger and greater than your challenges and circumstance. I am Jehovah God, the God that healeth thee. I will have mercy on you, and I will give you the victory. I am the great I am that upholds you with my righteous right hand. I will help you. Why do you cry? Fix your eyes on me and put your trust in me. I am alive forevermore.
A Prayer For Mercy And Return
SPEAKER_00Oh Lord, we pray, have mercy on us, Lord. Have mercy on us as we face these challenges and trust in your holy name. Have mercy on us, Lord, as we believe and stand firm on your word, expecting a turnaround. Have mercy on us, Lord, as we have sinned and fallen short of your glory. But we turn back to you, our first love, and we cry out to you, Lord, have mercy on us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
