Pageantry, Dance, and Endometriosis!? What?!

Please support local Des Moines resident Amara Drazkowski  on her journey to become Miss Washington Teen! We were very impressed by this young lady. At the young age of 16, Amara has already had a very long journey. Dealing with health issues and even having a brush with death. Amara, after quite a struggle of advocating for herself, and forcing doctors to deep deeper, found that she suffers from an all too common, but oddly rarely discussed, condition called endometriosis. 1 in 10 women suffer from this and it’s rarely ever spoken about. This young lady is full of knowledge and drive. She is pushing to educate others about this condition, all while trying to live out her young adult life as a dancer and pageant competitor.
