Miracles are still flowing—and from the most unexpected sources. When life's challenges feel overwhelming, remember that the God who parted the Red Sea still performs wonders today, often using the very hands of your opposition to deliver your breakthrough.

The story of Jehoshaphat offers profound insight into God's miraculous provision. When enemies surrounded God's people, they responded not with weapons but with worship. Through praise and obedience, they witnessed their enemies destroy themselves while leaving behind incredible wealth and resources. This biblical account illuminates a powerful truth: trouble never arrives without bringing potential blessing in its wake.

Are you standing at the edge of your own impossible situation? The key is in your response. "Go as if heaven sent you. Stand as if heaven is backing you." This mindset transforms how you face opposition. Your enemies aren't just fighting you—they're opposing God Himself, and He has never lost a battle. The wealth of the wicked is literally being stored up for you, and what appears to be an attack is actually setting the stage for divine intervention.

Your breakthrough is coming, and it may arrive through the most surprising channels. God refuses to let your enemies succeed against you. He's still in the miracle-working business, and your hope will not be disappointed. Whatever you're facing today, lift your praise and watch as God scatters your opposition and turns your battle into blessing.

Speaker 1:

God still works miracles. He still works miracles and we're here to encourage you today that your hope will not be disappointed. What God is doing in your life, he's doing it why? Because you have not given up on God and God. His desire is for you, he's committed to you. Giving up on God and God, his desire is for you, he's committed to you. Oh, my God, he loves you with an unfailing love. And so there are miracles that are being demonstrated in the lives of God's people. There are miracles that are being demonstrated in the lives of God's people, miracles that exceed ordinary expectation, miracles that surpass earth's limitations, miracles that go beyond human explanation. Miracles, miracles, the windows of heaven, of heaven, excuse me, the windows of heaven are open and there are miracles that are pouring out upon God's people. God will fulfill your expectation. That's a word for your life right now. God will fulfill your expectation. That's a word for your life right now. God will fulfill your expectation and your hope will not be disappointed. Miracles, unexpected miracles from unexpected sources, even by the hand or through the hand of your enemy.

Speaker 1:

My name is Dr Lydia Michelle Young. I am your host today, here with my co-host, intercessor, prophetess Janine Nicole. This is Midweek Refreshing Fire. We appreciate you for tuning in to Sweet Fire, the podcast, and we're really looking forward to this episode, to this session, where we're talking about miracles. God is bestowing miracles. He still works miracles. Come on, intercessor, won't you greet the people? God bless you.

Speaker 2:

God bless you everyone. Good evening. People out there right now should be doubly excited. Not only miracles, but miracles through the hands of our enemies. We should have the people's attention right now, doctor, miracles coming from the hands of our enemies. Y'all ought to be turning it up because I'm sure you don't want to miss any portion of this podcast on this evening. God bless you to each and every one. I'm definitely excited for another prophetic episode here at Sweet Fire the podcast. All right.

Speaker 1:

Yes, yes, miracles, even at the hand of the enemy. Let's talk about what that looks like. So let's take the example of 2 Chronicles, jehoshaphat. How he gathered the people. He got word that a great host, there were enemies coming up against him and the house of Judah or we know, judah represents praise, or it means to God, be praised. So praise of the enemy was a multitude of enemies was coming up, jehoshaphat and the house of Judah, or the house of praise. Okay, he got that. And so when Jehoshaphat got word, he immediately turned his attention to God to seek the direction of the Lord. What did God do? I mean seek me. You know, if you seek me, I'll fight your battle Right.

Speaker 1:

So when the enemy came I need to chop this story up real quick so we can get to the point when the enemy began to pursue, or when the enemy was in pursuit of Jehoshaphat and the house of Judah my God, they sent praise first, they sent Judah first, praising God. And so when they got to the battlefield, when they got to the point of the battle, the enemy was already wiped out. Why? Because praise, the intense praise that went forth from the house of Judah or the house of praise, caused the enemy to turn on himself. The enemy, actually, they turned on one another and destroyed themselves. When they got there, they were already destroyed. So, the enemy, what the enemy? Do the enemy? They brought their valuables, they brought their wealth, they brought their goods to the battle, they brought their goods to the fight, and so when they got there, they were already destroyed. Not one of them survived.

Speaker 1:

And that's a word for you you will not lose this fight. Your enemy will not escape. You will not lose this fight. Expect to win. Tell somebody, text somebody, expect to win. You can expect to win, because the battle is not yours, but the battle belongs to the Lord. They brought the enemy, brought the goods, they brought wealth, they brought all their possessions to the fight, but they destroyed themselves. Why? Because there was a spirit of praise that went forth before the Lord. And so the word is trouble will come to your life, but not without a blessing. Trouble will pursue you, but not without reward, not without benefit, not without benefit, not without the miracle that God has for your life. Come on, intercessor, jump in, come on come on.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's good. Yeah, trouble and blessings right, you could say that they're married. Trouble and blessings are married. But before I even jump into that, going back to Judah, they sent forth praise, right, they sent forth praise out of obedience. They sent forth praise out of obedience right, because the previous chapter, it, concludes with the structure right, the structure that set it in place, of the judges, right, and the obedience, how each one was assigned a task right, and each task was to go before the Lord from their respective veins. Right, and I find that interesting, doctor, the structure was set in 2 Chronicles, chapter 19. The structure was set in place right In 2 Chronicles, chapter 20, trouble immediately showed up After the structure.

Speaker 2:

The trouble immediately showed up. And out of obedience, what did Jehoshaphat and the people do? They went to God. They sought God, even in the midst of the fear. It's okay to be fearful, we're human, right, but we're just not supposed to stay in that place of fear. We're supposed to take our fear right to the place of prayer. We're supposed to take it to the Lord from the place of prayer. So, jehoshaphat in obedience, him and the people, they sought God in obedience and they received the answer because of their obedience and therefore they were a people who was able to praise in the midst of the trouble. And what did God do? God honored that sweet obedience, of that sweet aroma of obedience. He honored that sweet aroma of obedience and destroyed the enemy. The enemy came out to destroy God's people, but because of the obedience and their praise right, the enemy wound up not destroying God's people but destroying their own self, destroying their own self. Amen.

Speaker 1:

Amen, amen, yes, that's it, my God. And so when we find out and we discover that the enemy is pursuing us, there's an attack that's taking place I hear this word and I heard this while you were speaking, intercessor is we need to act like heaven sent us to the fight. We need to act like heaven sent us. We need to take a stand like heaven is backing us. The glory of the lord is on our side, right, the glory of the lord is on our side and the lord is moving. He's acting, he's demonstrating, he's performing on our behalf. He's performing on your behalf. Listen. Go as if heaven sent you, my god. Hallelujah. Go forth. Go as if heaven sent you, my God, hallelujah. Go forth and praise as if heaven sent you.

Speaker 1:

Take a stand, my God, against what opposes you, as if heaven has your back, knowing that the glory of the Lord is on your. My God is on your side and the Lord himself is moving, demonstrating, performing miracles in your life, on behalf of you, on behalf of his people, on behalf of your loved ones. God is moving on your behalf. God is moving on your behalf. God is performing miracles. God is releasing healing and deliverance. He's moving and he's acting on your behalf. Come on, intercessor.

Speaker 2:

I like that. That was a mouthful. A mouthful, excuse me. Go as if heaven sent you. Respond as if heaven sent you. Right Again, going back to you know blessings and trouble.

Speaker 2:

You know even being married together. Right, they're together, they're married. Because a lot of times, let's just face it, people of God, we don't experience the blessings unless there's trouble preceding the blessings. Right, that's how we get to know, you know, the very character of God. That's how we become very familiar and intimate with the persona of our Lord and Savior. Jesus Christ is through trouble, is through difficult times, is through hardships, and you know. And then what's at the end of the trouble, if we hold out and hold on to his unchanging hand the blessings, the promises of God. And we ought to be found as a people standing in the midst thereof, of all the uncomfortability, of pain, of hardship, of devastation, of taking a blow after blow after blow after blow, as if heaven is backing us. That's supposed to be our response. As if heaven is backing us. We are supposed to have that confidence that heaven is backing us. Because what Heaven is backing us? Heaven has sent us. We're on assignment, hallelujah. We're here in the earth realm because heaven has sent us.

Speaker 1:

That's it, my God, heaven has sent us and this, oh my God, thank you, I love that and I appreciate the demonstration that you just displayed on this platform. Listen, listen. This is for the anointed, this is for those who are anointed, this is for those who've got hands on you. There's a saturation, there's an oil on your life. Listen, spiritual battles they come against you. Forces, they come opposing you. Why? Because you're anointed. You're anointed.

Speaker 1:

What is it all about? It's trying to stop or prevent or hinder God's will, god's plan, god's purpose for your life. But God said if you stand for me and you go as I sent you, go as if I sent you, go as if heaven is backing you, I will scatter the enemy. I will scatter your enemies, I will scatter all who opposes you. What is Numbers 10.35, psalm 68 and 1? It says let God arise and his enemies be scattered. Whoever is an enemy of God is an enemy of you. If whoever is saying they're your enemy or whatever's coming up against you, whatever it is, if it's an individual, or if it's a thing or a substance, whatever opposes you, the enemy in your life is an enemy to God. And when God arises, come on, your enemy will do what He'll flee? He'll scatter my God, he'll scatter. So so God, know that God is your defender, god is your protector, god is your defender and God is your protector.

Speaker 2:

Come on intercessor, amen, and what a scripture says. It says when the enemy comes in like a flood. When the enemy comes in like a flood, not if not, sometimes, not maybe, but we right, so we have. You know that, people of God, as much as we don't like to hear it, we have that promise, we have that assurity. We can take confidence in knowing that the enemy is going to come, which means trouble is going to arise, there's going to be some devastation, there's going to be some heartache, there's going to be some uncomfortability because we are in this thing called life. So the enemy is going to come in.

Speaker 2:

But what does scripture also say? Our enemy will come out against us one way and flee before us seven ways. Right, why? Because we have heaven backing us. Amen, we have heaven backing us. That's why the enemy will come in and attempt to try to take the people of God out. But we can rest assured. In that same confidence, knowing that the enemy is going to come in, we can stand even more bold, knowing that the enemy is going to flee before us seven ways, because we have heaven backing us. And as second Chronicles, chapter 20, talks about, the enemy is so crazy, doctor, he not only comes out against us, right, but then he wants to bring as we look at Second Chronicles, chapter 20, he wants to bring his goods with him. He wants to bring his goods with him to come up against God's people. He wants to bring his goods with him to come up against God's people. He wants to bring his goods with him to come up against God's people. And what winds up happening? The wealth of the wicked is what Laid up for the righteous.

Speaker 1:

Laid up. My God, yes, yeah, the enemy brought his goods, he brought his wealth, and that's what happens. You know that's that scripture is so is so true that the wealth of those who oppose you, the wealth of the enemy, the wealth of the wicked, is laid up, it's set aside, it belongs to you. And understand that God will not allow your enemy to succeed against you, your enemy to succeed against you. Amen, I'm gonna say that one more time. God will not. God refuses to allow your enemy to succeed against you. And what seems impossible, it seems impossible. But my god, god's hand, god's hand of miracles, the resting on your life exceeds again ordinary expectation. Your hope will not be disappointed. The god we serve, he still works miracles. Come on, can you just say that with me? He still works miracles, works miracles, and god will demonstrate the miracles in your life through the hand of your enemy. Allow god to do it. Go sent, as if heaven sent you. Stand because heaven is backing you, my god, he still works miracle.

Speaker 1:

Open up and receive the miracles of god that are resting, that are flooding your life. God still, he's still in the miracle working business.

Speaker 2:

Come on, intercessor as we get ready to close Amen, as we get ready to close. You're speaking, doctor, and you know God is just pouring revelation into me. Right, the enemy in 2 Chronicles, chapter 20,. Right, brought their goods, brought their goods with them. Right, the enemy was taunting them. The enemy was boastful. The enemy came out with the spirit of pride and what happened? God took the enemy right on out. This is to encourage someone out there. It appears as if your enemy is succeeding. It appears as if your enemy is flourishing. It appears as if your enemy is flourishing. It appears as if your enemy is prospering. It appears as if your enemy is winning. But what the enemy does not understand is that the enemy is not coming out against you, but the enemy is in battle with God. So you continue to stand with confidence and boldness, knowing that heaven is backing you and the God that we serve. He has not lost one single battle, but the devil has a losing record and he will continue to lose, that's it.

Speaker 1:

That's it, my God, never defeated. We can't lose for winning. We were created to win, my God. Defeat wasn't designed for us. We were created to win, and so understand. We're going to reiterate this as we close. Trouble will come, trouble will hit your life, but trouble, when it comes, it brings a blessing, it brings breakthrough, it brings a miracle. It brings a blessing. It brings breakthrough. It brings a miracle. It brings increase. It brings the blessing of God, my God, that rest on your life. There's a blessing of God resting on the anointed of God. Give God praise and God will fight for you. Give God praise, exalt his name, call his name, praise him and God will exalt you. Praise him and God will lift you. Let God arise and his enemies be scattered. Amen. Peace be to you, peace be to your house and peace be to all you have.
