How to survive the flame when what attracts you burns

“Heaven Has My Back” PT.5 “Pour it on Me”
What if the wrong turn you took is the very place grace plans your U‑turn? We dive into the heart of “double grace”—the paired gifts of justification and sanctification—and explore how divine favor doesn’t just forgive; it follows, forms, and re‑routes. From the language of open heaven to the lived reality of course correction, we unpack how God’s eyes upon you mean more than oversight—they signal blessing, enlargement, and a fresh path forward.
Together we trace a thread through Scripture and daily life: Noah “found favor,” and favor found a resting place. That image reframes our setbacks. Instead of treating grace like passing weather, we welcome it as a presence that settles in, restores awareness, and helps us discern which doors are truly ours. If you’ve walked into a room that wasn’t meant for you, this conversation will help you recognize the window of grace, listen for the nudge of reversal, and speak words that align your heart with God’s intent: “Pour it out on me.”
We share practical declarations and a grounded view of favor as active—opening doors, closing detours, and guiding steady steps. Expect themes of identity, alignment, and courage to surface as we affirm, again and again, that heaven has your back. If you’ve been carrying shame or second‑guessing your next move, let this be your midweek reset. Subscribe for more faith‑building conversations, share this episode with someone who needs a turnaround, and leave a review to help others find this message of grace and reversal.

Just feeling so excited and blessed beyond because I have double grace. This is twenty twenty-five, twenty-five, multiples of five, five being the number of grace, the number of favor, double grace, double being I'm both justified and sanctified. Okay, amen. And grace, grace, favor, free and undeserved. Right. So let's talk a little bit about grace. Let's talk a little bit about favor. Favor, the favor of the Lord is when He extends to us freely, unmerited grace. He extends to us what we don't deserve. Right. And He holds back from us what we truly do deserve. I am your host, Dr. Lydia Michelle Young, here with my co-host, none other than Janine Nicole. She's in the building. The favor, the fire, oh my God, of the Lord is here, a refreshing wind, as we so often say, the wind, the breath, the ruach of God, the presence, the presence of God. My God, the pure presence of God is here. And we are so thankful for another opportunity to share with you, to share with you, to speak a word of life and to help you to declare in your own life, to help you to confident, confidently declare and prophesy in your own life, that you have div, that you have divine grace, that you have double grace, divine grace, double grace, divine, the divine window of grace is open to you. This series started off. Heaven has my back. The host of heaven has your back. This is Wednesday, midweek, Wednesday, middle of the week, refreshing fire. Welcome again to Sweet Fire the Podcast. Uh, Intercessor Janine, why don't you greet the people with a big, great big God bless you? Come on, God bless you, everyone. Uh undeserved favor, double favor, undeserved favor, double favor, you know, to understand, to come into that understanding, right? That we have not only do we have the favor of God, but we have double favor, right? We're justified. The favor of God justifies us, the favor of God rightly aligns us, you know, with himself. The favor of God has reconciled us and undeserving people to himself. And then after we are justified, the favor doesn't stop there, the favor continues on as we continue on with God, as we grow in God, as we mature with God, favor follows us moment by moment. Favor leads and guides us, favor takes us to those open doors. Favor, favor, favor. You know, we cannot uh uh we can't hide from favor even if we wanted to. I grabbed something for that. Genesis 6 and 8. It says the favor, it says Noah found favor. I don't have it right in front of me. One of my favorite, most favorite uh texts. Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. I remember many years ago, probably 30 years ago or so, the Lord said, now read it backwards. And it says, the Lord's eyes, the Lord's favor found a resting place. What does that mean? Where am I getting resting place? Noah's name means to rest or resting place. The Lord's favor, my God, in your life wants to find a resting place in you. My God, you said moment by moment, moment by moment. So understanding this, I heard this uh as I was preparing uh for this episode. Uh, there's been some things in many uh of your lit the listeners' uh lives that have been going uh so to speak in the in a wrong direction. Somewhere you've made a wrong turn, some may somewhere you've made a wrong decision. It just wasn't the right decision, it wasn't the right turn. And I heard this reversal where God is reversing your direction to get you back on the right track, and He's resetting things for you, He's realigning things for you as you are sensitive to the reversal. This is your opportune moment. You've reached a turning point. I'm gonna stop right there. Come on, jump in. Reversal, turnaround, change of direction, right? This isn't a time to beat ourselves up, you know, because we all have made some, you know, some wrong uh choices, have made some incorrect moves, but it doesn't mean that the favor of God departs from us. It doesn't, right? The favor of God does just the opposite of what the enemy, you know, will want it to do in the midst of our wrong choices, our wrong decisions, the wrong moves that we have made, right? Going in the the opposite direction of what the Lord, you know, truly wants us to go in. You know, the favor of God turns that thing around for us. What if uh salvation? It was the favor of God that turned that thing around for us, right? And now we have inherited everlasting life. Yes, so this isn't the time, you know, to beat ourselves up for those of you who, you know, you may your head may be hanging a little low on this evening because you know you made the wrong move, you made the wrong decision. You walked through a door that you thought was that door for you to walk through. It's not the time to beat yourself up. Oh, but it's grace. Grace. Oh, but it's grace, grace, you're right. He's giving you another opportunity to turn that thing around. And we've talked about open heaven, right? We're standing, we're sitting, we're operating in, we're we're under an open heaven. This is a divine window of grace, a divine window of favor that has opened up, that is open open. We talked about how what the the failure in us, in many, is the the lack of recognition, not having a spirit of awareness about where you are in your life or who you are in your life or where you are, what God has for you, and what God is doing. And somebody ought to open up your mouth and confidently declare this prophesy this in your life that double grace, justification, sanctification, and grace, grace, abundant provision belongs to me. Amen. And because you're under an open heaven, you're under of that window, that window of grace is open to you. You can say it, pour it out on me, amen. Open up your mouth and and speak that to the Lord. Pour it out, pour it out on me one more time. Pour it out, pour it out on me. This is the moment of reversal and reset. My God, and the favor of the Lord is looking upon. He says, the eyes of the Lord, Noah found favor in the eyes, come on, of the Lord. He found favor in the eyes of the Lord. What does that let us know? Just like Hannah, right? He is the God who sees me. Hagar, Hagar, forgive me, it's Hagar. He is the God who sees me, he is the God who speaks to me, he is the God who strengthens me. I'ma cut it. He's the God who saves me. Come on, jump in. Oh my God. He's the God who sees me. He's the God who sees me. My Lord. That right there is favor, right? When God, God's eyes are upon us, right? That right there is favor. Yes. His eyes are upon us. And Dr. our faith, our faith, when we, you know, at that very moment that we confess the Lord Jesus as our Lord and Savior, right? We automatically step into that favor. We automatically step into divine favor. We automatically step into grace. Amen. Yes. We automatically step into the promises of God. We inherit, amen, all the promises that God made to Abraham. That what is that? That is favor. That's favor. Deuteronomy 28, chapter uh Deuteronomy chapter 28, excuse me, verses 1 through 14. That's favor. That's what we have inherited. Why? Because the eyes of the Lord, the eyes of God are upon us to bless us, yes, to enlarge our territory. Amen. He is the God who sees me. Amen. He is the God who does what He saves us. Yeah. He is the God who shields us. He's the God who shelters us. He's our stronghold. He sanctifies us. My shepherd and I what shall not want. Heaven has my back. Heaven has your back. And that's the word. Heaven has your back. You ought to open up your mouth and declare that. I shall not want. Amen. I shall not want. Why? Because he's my helper, he's my healer, my protector, he's perfect, patient, and pure. Come on, jump in. Amen. Amen. Again, this is the time, you know, to beat ourselves up, people of God. This is the time, amen, to declare over our own lives, to prophesy over our own lives, to prophesy, you know, uh uh into our own situations because heaven does have our back. Yes, this is a you know, a time to really be strengthened and encouraged with that, right? To become confident with that, you know, knowing that heaven has our back. This is a time to really, really grasp hold of that and dive into that, take a deep dive into that and see what all you know uh what that all entails. Heaven having our back. This is turnaround time. This is a time of change of direction, reversal. Why? Because the favor of the Lord has our back, the eyes of God are upon us to bless us and to enlarge our territories. That's it. My God, the Lord's favor finding a resting place in you. And I'm gonna drop these words, I'm gonna drop these words, the characteristics of who he is, the host of heaven who has your back. He's wise, he's worthy, and he's wonderful. Because of God, you can say, I am vindicated and victorious. He is glorious and generous. Heaven has your back. Peace be to you, peace be to your house, and peace be to all you have.
