What if wealth isn’t about hype, but about wholeness—spiritual, emotional, and practical—and God has already placed the power to create it in your hands? We dive into Deuteronomy 8:18 and Romans 11:29 to explore how divine empowerment meets human effort, and why the gifts God gives are irrevocable. Our aim is to move you from passive waiting to purposeful building, so the light you carry becomes visible in real products, services, jobs, and decisions that bless people and point them to Christ.
We unpack the “principle of reversal,” the idea that resources stored up will shift when the church acts in unity, obedience, and excellence. That transfer isn’t a lottery moment; it’s the fruit of aligned action over time. You’ll hear a straight path for activation: ask God for wisdom, confront inner noise with truth, inventory your gifts and passions, and take small, consistent steps that compound. We press into practical rhythms—writing the vision, testing simple offers, setting weekly output goals, and choosing communities that sharpen your edge.
Along the way we anchor in Abraham’s pattern of faith plus obedience, reclaim the dignity of work as worship, and speak life over dormant callings. For entrepreneurs and creatives—hairstylists to authors—this is a wake-up call to build what heaven authored in you. If wealth is wholeness, obedience is the doorway. Let’s lead with integrity, create with courage, and watch the world be drawn to the light.

Intercessor. I just believe that the church, the body of Christ, those who have been called, those who are chosen, those who operate or function or are sensitive to the Lord's voice and move uh according to his will, his way, his word. I believe that we, the children of God, are called to be the leading force in the world. We we are the leaders. We're a city set on a hill that can't be hid. We're the soda of the earth. We are the chosen, the elect, the hand picked. So I believe that we should be really leading of this world in every area. Salvation. Uh, and and then so we're talking about being, since we're the chosen of God, we should be leaders. I believe that we should be leading in the area of wealth. Um, we're not uh prosperity teachers here, but when we say wealth, the Bible does say in Proverbs 13, 22 that the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the just, is laid up, is stored up for the righteous. So when I say I believe that we should be leading, many of the church, many of many believers are not tapping into their creativity, their skill set, their God-ordained purpose, what God has created, designed for us to do, our capacity, what we uh, you know, have the ability to do. Um, the anointing that's on us, what we can do so freely, because he's anointed us to do those things, he's invested in us. We're we many have not tapped into that. So, what do we do? We go out and we we take part in the products and services more so of the world than the world coming to the church to take uh to um what I say, patronize our products and services, those things that God has anointed us to do. We're gonna talk about that today. And understanding this is where we want to encourage your heart, uh, because there is a promise uh that he has promised us, uh, and it's in Deuteronomy 8.18, and he said, it says, God uh provides the ability, he gives us the power uh to obtain or to get or to have wealth. I am your host, Dr. Lydia Michelle Young, here with my co-host, Intercessor Janine Nicole. Uh, today is Wednesday, it is the middle of the week, the middle of the week. We pray that everyone hearing and listening are doing well. Uh, we just believe God for you. Uh, thank you for tuning in to Sweet Fire, the podcast. It this is middle of the week refreshing fire. And so now we'll hear from Intercessor. Come on and jump on in on this beautiful Wednesday evening. Good evening, everyone. In fact, I believe this is the first time that we have recorded in 2026. Yeah, so happy new year to each and every one of you. Um, it is definitely good to be back uh again on this evening, wealthy, wealthy, right? That we are called. We are, like you said, said, you know, because it's it's written in the word, we are the city set upon the hill, right? We are supposed to be the light of the earth, right? Again, we're not prosperity ministers, we're not prosperity teachers, but in a nutshell, what is the summation of the gospel? The gospel is wealthy, right? Because what does it mean to be wealthy? It means to be your whole in that area of your life, right? If you're wealthy in an area of your life, you're made whole in that area, right? You know, so when we take a look at the gospel, that's what the gospel is. You know, it is it's not the will of God for his people to struggle. It is not the will of God for for his people to go out to the world to patronize the world, right? God is not using the world to try to draw the world unto himself, right? You know, he's using us, and he needs us to be made whole, right? He needs us to be wealthy in every area of our life so that we can attract the world, you know, unto him. So definitely looking forward for this um episode here, Sweet Fire the Podcast. So again, happy new year to each and every one of you, and thank you for tuning in. Thank you, thank you so much. Uh, and so when we look at the world, um, the world we are to lead, we are to vessels in the earth that God uses to draw men unto him. Um, there's a light that shines, there's a glory that rests upon us. It's it's the glory of the Lord, the weight of his presence, the essence of who he is, who rests upon us. So we should be drawing men um to salvation, drawing men, not just men, women, boys, girls, I mean, drawing the world uh to him uh for salvation. Okay, so I mean, how rich can you get? That that's the richest, uh, that's the wealthiest place. Right. And we believe, we believe that when we tap into what God has called us to, what God has created us to do, uh, those intricate details of who we are, when we tap into our creativity, when we tap into uh those things that God has shaped in us and formed in us, developed in us, designed in us, uh, we have the uh the natural ability and the passion, my God, that fire to do what God put in us. When we tap into that, when we tap into that area uh of our lives, I believe that the world, I mean, when we really go in and engage and do what God has called us to do, I believe the world, I believe in this in the principle of reversal. I believe that the what that that's what that scripture uh really means to me when he says the wealth of the wicked is laid up. Well, it's laid up, it's stored up, but God, it's like God is waiting on the church to tap into their calling. God is waiting on the church to demonstrate that creativity of God on the inside of us. God is waiting on us. The reversal is there. There's a transfer coming, but it's going to take us as a body, us as a people, us as a unit, us as brothers and sisters, us as a family, my God, to tap into what God has called us into, and in unity, in harmony with us individually working the skills that God has given us and investing in us, working and operating in harmony, being one with God together, I believe the reversal will come. I believe that's where the real transfer of the wealth of the wicked being laid up for us is going to take place. I believe it. I mean, I know we have little trinkets here and there, you know, and people get blessed uh with wealth, you know, and God He works that thing of miracles here, miracles there. But when this scripture, this scripture is impacting, it's powerful, it's it's full of revelation. And when we look at the wealth of the wicked, my God, the wealth of the wicked, the reversal, the wealth of the wicked, the reversal, it's oh my god, it belongs to us, it belongs to us. Come on, amen, amen. And unfortunately, you know, a lot of people they're they're sitting on their gifts, they're sitting on their talents, right? They're their gifts and their talents are wasting away because they're waiting on the miraculous, because they have taken, you know, uh uh uh uh scripture really out of context, you know, when when when studying about the wealth, right? And studying about being prosper uh prosperous, right? They they believe they're waiting for you know the miraculous to take place, they're waiting for the miracle. Yes, most definitely, God will manifest the miraculous in various ways, right? Salvation, you know, miraculous, right? Healing is miraculous when it comes to you know uh uh working in our gifts, working in our talents, hence the word work. You know, we got to work, we got to operate in our gifts, we have to work, we have to operate in our talents. God has gifted us, has invested in us, you know, those those jewels of gifts, those jewels of talents for us to go out and to make our way prosperous. He's given us the ideas, he's given us the vision, is for us to get out there and to do the work. What does scripture say about a lazy man? You know, we we have to apply, you know, our skill set, we have to apply ourselves, you know, to it in order to bring forth that prosperity, to bring forth that wealth, right? You know, we cannot expect God to do it all. You know, you and I was just talking about it a couple of days ago. What did Jesus say upon the cross? It is finished, right? We need to really, you know, uh examine the finished work of Christ. What does the finished work of Christ look like? What does the finished work of Christ entail? God has done it all, and unfortunately, a lot of people they they sit back and expect God to just do everything as if we're not supposed to do any of it. We have our we have our part to play in this, we have our part, and Deuteronomy tells us our part to play in it. God has put it in us to make our way prosperous, you know. The the world is going forth right now and it's operating, you know, in the reverse effect. We're supposed to be the ones, you know, we're supposed to be the ones uh uh giving jobs to people, we're supposed to be the ones sitting in these seats making the decisions, right? Because we're the ones with the mind of Christ, absolutely, but right now we are under, you know, we're the the the of the spiritual weakness in high places. They're reigning and they're ruling. We're supposed to be reigning and ruling in all areas and all capacities of life. He's given us dominion. I mean, he's giving us dominion, okay? And so this is this is it. Very well spoken. Deuteronomy 8.18. I love those numbers. Deuteronomy, come on, 8.18. He has given us the power, he's given us the ability, he's given us the capacity, he's given us the skill set, he's given us the knowledge, the intellect, the understanding, the wisdom. He's given us, we're equipped to get wealth. That's where the reversal takes place. And so I love this because even when we shared on Sunday morning flame, this past Sunday, Sunday morning flame, the scripture came, Romans 11, 29. That scripture's saying that the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. They're irrevocable. They they can't be changed, God won't change his mind. So, whatever's in you, those of you who are listening, oh my god, those of you who are listening, what God has placed in you, what God is how God has gifted you, and what God has called you to, the call to salvation, oh the call, oh my god, the call to the uh the high call of God, right? Um, the gifts of God, the purpose of God on your life, um, He won't change His mind. And we're we're not perfect, you know. We talked about the gifts of healing, the gifts of health, the gifts, like you were saying, intercessor, and what God has called us to in those areas. Um, we can operate in those things. We we're called to do that. But what God has placed on you, no matter what you've done. Now, this is not a license or a ticket to just live contrary and live life, however, you choose, because it is obedience is necessary. Obedience is better than sacrifice. Um, but what God is saying here, this promise promise, uh, as far as uh He's provided it, but to those who believe, to those who obey, to those who are aligned with His Word. Thank you. Period. Those who are aligned, those who are aligned with His Word. Yes, ma'am. You know, I mean, what does Galatians say? And if ye be Christ, then therefore ye are Abraham's seed, right? The first part, you know, if ye be Christ, if we are living in obedience, right? If we are living our lives, applying biblical principles to every area of our lives, if we're living our lives, you know, uh being about our father's business, just as Jesus Christ was. If if ye be Christ, then therefore ye are Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise. And what is the what does the promise of Abraham entail? The promise of Abraham entails what wealth. Being, you know, uh uh uh spiritually wealthy as well as being, you know, naturally wealthy. Let's face it, Abraham was not a broke man. That's right. Abraham was not a broke man, you know, but what did Abraham, what did Abraham working for him? Abraham had his faith and his obedience working for him, his faith and his obedience to be about his father's business, his faith and his obedience to step out and do what God told him to do, right? You know, and that's what Abe, that's what Abraham had working for him. Abraham applied his works to it, and therefore, what did God do? God uh uh honored Abraham's faith, he honored Abraham's obedience, and he blessed Abraham in every area of Abraham's life, and therefore Abraham was a wealthy man, and that's what God wants for us. That's what God wants for us, and when we tap into what God has imputed in us, when we tap into the skill and the ability that God has invested in us, I believe that when we are diligent, committed, loyal, uh when we take time to nurture the vision, when we take time and we're consistent with what God has called us to, our purpose in the earth, because these things that we're talking about, come on, what God has put on your life has been pinned, authored, written, declared, established in the heavens. Now it's up to us, my God, to make heaven touch down in the earth. And God has all we're here. So what's in us is in the earth. Now it's the process. It's the that part you said, intercessor, to do the work. That's the process. You have the power. Let's do the process, let's do what it takes to get to where God is taking us, to where God has called us, so that we can, amen, uh effectively and so that we can uh without doubt uh operate in Proverbs 13, 22, where that reversal takes place, and we get, oh my God, we get our wealth. Right. The the wicked is working for us right now, their wealth belongs to us. I believe the word of the Lord. And the question that I have for all of us right now is whose report will you believe? Whose report will you believe? And so let's let's look at this real quick, intercessor, and jump in on this. We're talking about empowerment. When we talk about the power he's given us power, this is power from on high, this is power from God, the creator of heaven and earth. So we're talking about divine empowerment. We have we have been uh uh equipped with divine empowerment, right? Divine empowerment with human effort. That's just doing the work, like you said. So it's God's ability and us doing our part. We come together and like we kicked it off and unified with Christ, unified with the Father and what God desires for us, what He longs, the way God has He said, Be, oh, I wish that you would prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospereth. If, if, prosper if ETH on the end of that means it's an ongoing thing, it continues. He he that's his desire for us. You don't see us struggle and without, right? I mean, it happens, and God He He allows it because God's a miracle worker, he makes a way out of no way, you know. We uh He blesses us with breakthrough and miracles and uh sustenance, he takes care of us. God, come on. And I'm feeling this uh on this evening. There's you know, there's a few who are tuned in right now, and you're saying, Oh, this is good, this sounds great. You're enjoying this teaching, but you have a question, you're wanting to know how does one awaken, how does one, you know, uh uh get into the know of what they have been gifted with, what what you know, uh how God wants to uh uh use that area in your life to make you prosperous, to bring your family out of that generational curse of poverty. You know, pray and ask God to show you because each and every one of us walking the face of this earth are gifted. We are gifted. There's a specialized area in your life where you are you are skilled, you know, you have a skill, uh uh God has you know skilled you in a very special way, He has equipped you in a very special way. You are extremely talented, and you may be unawares of you know, of your gifting, of your skill set on this evening. And we are here to minister to you, to let you know, you know, ask God to show you. Ask the scripture says, if any man lack wisdom, ask of God, and he will give it to uh every man liberally. Ask God to show you your area that you are specialized, that you are specially skilled in. Ask God to show you where you are gifted, and he will show you because it's that area of your life that God wants to use you to make your way prosperous and to bring your family up out of poverty. Ask God and He will show you, right, and I'm hearing this if I can ride on the wave. Uh, ask God to show you, and He will, but I believe also, intercessor, that you really do know that the issue is the issue is having the motivation, right? The confidence, having the confidence, having the motivation, having uh resources, the finances, all these things that you think you're already equipped with what you need to make it. And so, in understanding, here it is too. You so ask God, ask God for the motivation, ask God for the strength, ask God for the wherewithal because you know, you know yourself, those of you, my god, who are listening. You know yourself what you are naturally good at. You know what yourself, what you are passionate about, you know yourself what you really enjoy doing, and you're really good at. That's your call, that's your purpose. Stop making the excuses. That's where your anointing is, that's where your anointing is. Anointing is you just need the motivation. And intercessor, how about our surroundings? Making sure that we are surrounded by positivity, right? By the right voices, and drown out the noise. Negativity, even the noise and the negative words on the inside that speak to your ear gate from the your inner man. Yes. Drown it out. Pray against it. Stand against it. Tell the Satan, the Lord, rebuke you so that you can stand up in what God has called you to. So God wants to put a smile on your face again. God wants you to have peace of mind. You're concerned, uh, you know, it's hard to make ends meet for some of you. You don't know sometimes where that next meal is going. Some of you have children. Many of you have families. It's the motivation that people lack. And when when when people lack motivation, they kind of lose sight of the vision. They lose sight of what they're really able to do. Right. Right. They lose sight of what they're really able to do. So intercessor is absolutely correct. Ask God. Ask God what it is about you. Amen. Have that personal conversation with God about you specifically. What God has, what's inside of you? What God has put in you, what God has placed in you, what God, the anointing that's on your life, your ability with your hands. What God, what has God called your what your hands are skillful. What did we say in a Sunday morning flame a couple of weeks ago? Check the palm of your hands. Your hands, you know, were made to create, to build. Your hands are create, they have they're full of blessing, and they're equipped to heal. So she's right. Talk to the Lord. Have that have that one-on-one intimate conversation and do that regularly. And he will reveal. Come on, intercessor. As we get ready to close as we get ready to close, wake up. Wake up. It's time to get to work. It's time to get busy. Wake up. It's time to get to work, and it's time to get busy. It's time to build. It's time to plant. It's time to, you know, to reverse this thing. It's time to turn the world upside down. It's time to get in place. It's time to get in place. We have wasted far too much time, people. We have wasted far too much time. We have said it here on Sweet Fire the Podcast, you know, uh uh a few different times. I'm gonna say it again on this evening. We do not want to be found standing before the judgment seat of Christ, full of the potential that He entrusted us to fulfill while here on this side of heaven. What is that potential? That potential that we all need to be realizing and operating in and emptying ourselves of is operating in those gifts and those talents that God has invested and entrusted each and every one of us with. Entrepreneurs, you are tuning in on this evening, plant that business, build, write the vision, make it plain, run with it, hairstylist, barbers, songstress, authors, writers, designers. Wake up, wake up. It's time to get to work. This is our time, this is our season for those of us who are hearing the voice of the Lord and tapping in. My God, watch out. We are getting ready to get in place. God is uprooting so that He can plant. It is time to turn the tables on the world, and it's time for his sons and daughters to get in place and to take our rightful positions. But we have to get to work. Wake up. Amen. Well, God bless you. It's called divine empowerment. Divine empowerment. Wake up. You have the wherewithal. You are equipped. And I was hearing this, and we we're closing now. I was hearing this. Uh, you know, even positive self-talk. You know, I am creative, I am amazing, I am strong, you know, I am skilled, I am smart, I am brilliant, I am talented, I am gifted, I am anointed, I am called, I am chosen. Um practice those words. Speak life to yourself because, as we know, the power of life are in your words, the power of life. Well, we're gonna talk about that Sunday. I mean, on uh yes, Sunday morning for Sunday morning playing. The power of life is in your mouth. Um, and so it's divine empowerment to create a flourishing life. Peace be to you, peace be to your house, and peace be to all you have.
