far from BORING
Welcome to the “far from BORING” pod. This thought leadership platform is our commitment to a better future. A space where we can collaborate, engage and inspire new generations within the mining sector.
Our host, Lucy Donald started her career in the media industry in the UK working for reputable broadcasting companies such as the BBC and ITV in the UK prior to spending the last almost 20 years working within the global mining sector.
She has come back to her roots with the launch of the far from BORING Podcast. Lucy engages and interview some of the industry’s finest leaders every day so why should we keep all those amazing daily insights and conversations with esteemed thought leaders to ourselves? We want to share them with you too!
At the core of the conversation will be:
- What makes a good leader in today’s mining industry?
- What is their essence?
- What is their story?
- What has contributed to their tapestry?
- Are there any reoccurring traits or habits that they are share?
- What knowledge and insight can they impart to future generations of leaders?
FFB Podcase will be focusing on empathetic, emotionally intelligent leaders.
Lucy is very passionate about using her influence to place the right leadership within organisations to help promote change, equality and a brighter future. The right leadership can have an impact far beyond the organisation itself but also on the surrounding communities of the mine site. Never has the right leadership been so important for a brighter, more progressive tomorrow.
