In this week’s episode, we talk about the fact that tomorrow is Erran’s last day at his longest travel contract ever and what it feels like transitioning into PRN life after being in a long-term assignment for so long.

We also talk all about gearing up for Mount Kilimanjaro, which will officially be the highest elevation and hardest hike we’ve ever done. We get into the excitement, the nerves, and honestly the stress of trying to get packed and organized for a trip like this — especially when we have super limited weight restrictions and still somehow feel like we need to bring everything 😅

We also talk about one of the things we love most about these kinds of trips — the type of people they bring together. The people who are drawn to experiences like this usually value growth, challenge, pushing themselves outside their comfort zones, connection, adventure, and really experiencing life fully.

And honestly, there’s something really special about the contrast of a trip like this — going from hiking through gritty conditions with no showers, no Wi-Fi, no electricity, bathroom tents, and being completely unplugged… to then celebrating afterward in a luxury glamping camp in the Serengeti and staying at an incredible five-star resort. There’s just something so rewarding about doing something really hard and then fully enjoying and appreciating the comfort, celebration, and fun afterward.

Overall, this episode is just a really honest conversation about travel, challenge, growth, transitions, adventure, and everything we’re feeling heading into this next season.
