Framing Love As God’s Nature

Dina LaFargue Augustin

May the peace of God find you this week as I continue on the topic of love. Considering all of the violence and degradation in the world, I truly believe the answer can be found in his love. In particular, the love of God that makes us capable of loving at all is key. Specifically, it is his love, God's love, that made us, and why even self-love is essential. It is us being able to love ourselves, not being egotistical, not exerting ourselves in selfish, internalized love that morphs into evil and narcissism, but a love of self that is commanded by God to have and to behold as we are created in his image. In the Bible, in the book of Genesis chapter one, verse twenty six, it reads, Then God said, Let us make men in our image after our likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. So God created men in his own image. In the image of God He created him, male and female He created them. In Colossians chapter three verse ten it reads and have put on the new self which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator. In Genesis chapter nine verse six it reads Whoever sheds the blood of man by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in his own image. Therefore remember, I can confidently state as I have before that there is only one God that says He is love, that He acts in love with love, created us in love, exists in love. I'm going to summarize the tenets of the main religious systems that are in practice today to clarify and support my position about God being love. I have studied and taught world religions as an adjunct professor, albeit a short time, but I have read various books and articles authored by various religious practitioners of various religious systems and researchers from various walks of life and backgrounds. However, in my true objectivity and to my delight, my faith in Christ was confirmed. To the

Made In God’s Image And Self-Love

Dina LaFargue Augustin

extent of my understanding and from my studies, I will give a brief summary of each of these main traditions. In Hinduism, a Hindu will acknowledge the endless multitudes of impersonal gods and goddesses, and also believes that a soul can incarnate into any living creature of any kind. At the end of a soul's reincarnative cycle, because Hindu believes in reincarnation, when that soul reaches moksha or freedom or enlightenment, that soul can now return to Brahman, which is the unity of all souls. In essence, the soul unifies with other souls to join the one all-existing force. That force is an impersonal energy of the universe. Essentially, it is a conglomerate of souls that now have no sense of intelligence or sense of beenness or sense of humanity. Buddhism can be described as belief that there is no deity. It is a practice of self-discipline. Siddhartha Gautama, a Hindu prince, created this system in philosophy and it became a way of life. Siddhartha was just a man who believed to have reached enlightenment. In essence, he believed that suffering was to be overcome, and that the system or the cycle of karma was a means to overcome all suffering that man suffers in this earthly life. That also being human was in itself deceit, confusion, and deception. So the ultimate goal is to overcome self. That is true of Buddhism and Hinduism, although with slightly different beliefs of the afterlife and the form that reincarnation can take. In Buddhism, the sense of self is the problem. It creates suffering and error, similar to Hinduism. Once one reaches enlightenment or nirvana, all that has become or all that has been overcomes through various acts of discipline, one life cycle after another life cycle after another reincarnate life. With more reincarnations and more discipline, attachment to the material world ends, identity ends, individualism ends, and the self or the one disappears and becomes part of the stream of an impermanent, unconscious energy, which is considered by the Buddhist true reality. In essence, the soul, as most believe, is no longer real. The individual soul is not true reality and should therefore be denied. According to the Buddhist doctrine, when the body dies, the energy that moved that body, that energized that body, that powered that body, that karmic matter that accumulated in the body will congeal with the energy or karmic matter of another life, another life energy, and thus become a new human life if it has not reached moksha, if it is not reached

enlightenment or nirvana. And yes, I use these terms a little interchangeably because they are very similar in nature. Hence, once that life force has overcome the need to reform in a physical self, it no longer needs to manifest anymore. Once that energy releases itself from matter, that energy is now reunited with a living energy or an eternal force of impermanent energy, meaning reality or that energy is impermanent and ever-changing, but not to materialize. On the other hand, New Age spirituality followers believe that they are God and highly eclectic. New Age spirituality is a collection of ancient spiritual traditions and all actuality. It is taught by a vast array of speakers, books, and seminars. It is a conglomeration of actually many other religions. It acknowledges many gods and goddesses, as in Hinduism. It acknowledges that the earth is a source of all spirituality, almost like a Wicca, and has its own intelligence, emotions, and deity. Where superceding all is the self. Self is the originator. This is a true contradiction of what Hinduism and Buddhism is about that seek to deny self. Hence, self to the New Age believer is the controller and power over all. There is no reality outside of what the person determines. There is no power greater than the power of self. Belief and positivity are the forces that can create. Believing in oneself to be completely sovereign over their own life is the driving force. That nothing about their life is wrong, negative, or painful. Eventually, a new believer develops spirituality to the degree that there is no objective, external reality. A person becoming a God creates their own reality. One can find this description on the website everystudent.com, which discusses the five major religions of the world and how each describes God. The New Age system teaches Eastern mysticism and spiritual, metaphysical, and psychic techniques such as breathing exercises, chanting, drumming, meditating, and to develop an altered consciousness and to develop as one's own divinity. There is no love here, only a desire for power to live and power to serve self, otherwise known as humanism. In attempting to become their own God, these new age believers are actually copying systems that either lead to a God or no God at all. So hence, where do they get their premise from? What are the origins of their beliefs that they can become their own God? When the systems that they are pulling from either deny a God, deny self, or would say that there is only one God. Now I move on to Islam. The Muslim believer believes in an all-powerful and all-knowing God. Allah is a title that means God. It is not a personal name. But Allah is claimed to be a powerful and strict judge who will be merciful towards followers depending on the sufficiency of their life's good works and religious devotion. A follower's relationship with Allah is as a servant to Allah and less personal that one would find in the Jewish faith or the Christian faith. In essence, Islam has picked on what it likes and dislikes from the Christian Judeo-holy books and purported to claim what was true or not true from these books based on one man's testimony or proclamations, that man being Muhammad, who claims to be the last prophet of Allah. Now Muhammad did not commit any miracles, he did not perform any signs or wonders or exhibit any supernatural power. There are no witnesses to any engagement of him with the spiritual being. It is claimed that he met the angel Gabriel. But in studying Jewish faith and the Christian faith, it could not be Gabriel, for Gabriel always announces himself and would not contradict the original works of the Old Testament or the New Testament. I must make this point because it is believed that because Judaism, Christianity, and Islam believe in one God, that they are monotheistic faiths, that they all worship the same God, and this is not true. But in continuing, Islam reinforces

New Age Spirituality And The Self

Dina LaFargue Augustin

the belief that a Muslim must behave a certain way, perform certain traditions in order to gain Allah's favor without any true hope of a favorable afterlife. Perhaps being willing to die, which can relate to jihad, the inner and outer struggle. Yes, being willing to die for Allah, one can have perhaps a chance at living a good afterlife free from torment, but it's not promised. Again, love is not the source of Allah's benevolence, only whimsical mercy through conditions established by Allah and only acceptable to Allah. Mercy is not love, it is an extension of it. Mercy is a measure of forgiveness or kindness offered to another despite someone's actions. Hence, I must define the difference between Christianity and Islam. The difference between these two gods, Allah and Yahweh, or Allah and Jehovah, the Christian God, is love. It is necessary to distinguish between these two because Muslims and Christians, again, are not worshiping the same God. And my purpose today is to reiterate the source of love and how love endures and how we are made of love and how love saves. Mercy in Allah in Islam is often portrayed as something that must be earned through submission, repentance, and good deeds. It is closely connected to obedience, making it feel more like a conditional offer than an expression of unconditional love and mercy that comes out of love. Mercy in Christianity is often seen as a divine attribute that Jesus embodies as he came to earth to save humanity from sin. Jesus' mercy is seen as a demonstration of God's pure love and compassion for humanity, no matter who you are or wherever you find yourself. In summary, looking back at these different faith systems, in Hinduism, a person is on their own trying to gain release from karma. In the New Age system, a person is working at their own divinity. In Buddhism, it is an individual's quest of being free from desire and self. In Islam, the individual follows religious laws and hope of paradise after death. And in Christianity, many are trying to live by the Ten Commandments, but the final command of God was to love God with all one's heart, and thus loving thy neighbor as thyself, and to love self as God loves us. In short, love is God, and love is an action word to believe and to be acted upon by every believer. Christians believe in a loving God who created humankind to know Him who is love. This God is viewed as a loving God who offers everyone a personal relationship with himself now in this life and in their afterlife, that works only come by faith and by love and not to impress. In the Bible, in the book of 1 John, chapter 4, verse 8, it reads that anyone who does not love does not know God because God is love. Jesus claimed to be God in human form, mind you. He says that he came from the Father, and that he and the Father are one. Hence, Jesus Christ is also love. In the Gospel of John, chapter 1, verse 1, it says, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And this verse establishes Jesus as the living word, both distinct from and fully divine with God. In John chapter 10, verse 30, Jesus is saying himself, I and the Father are one. And this statement by Jesus emphasizes his unity with God, indicating he is part of the divine nature and one of the persons of God. In Colossians chapter 2, verse 9, it says, For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, meaning in Christ Jesus. This verse actually confirms that Jesus embodies the fullness of God. Jesus performed miracles, demonstrating his divinity and power, Jesus forgave people of their sin, demonstrating his love and mercy. And Jesus also said that anyone who believed in him would have eternal life, just believing in him, demonstrating his unconditional offer of acceptance for anyone who receives him. Remember, the man on the cross, the thief that was being crucified, did not have a chance to do any good works, but believed in his heart that Jesus Christ was indeed who he says he was, and Jesus said that he would be with him in paradise. So it is a matter of the heart that ties one to God, and it is a matter of love that makes us one with God. In addition to being a historical record of Jesus' life and miracles, the Bible reveals his personality, his benevolence, his holiness, his love and truth, and how one can actually

Islam, Mercy, And Conditionality

know and relate to God as one could a friend. Out of his love, out of God's love, out of Jesus' love, he sacrificed his own life that any human who accepts him, Jesus Christ as Savior, would have everlasting life in his eternal presence. I reiterate, that was mercy displayed in the greatest act of love, by sacrificing himself, Jesus living as a man, coming into the world as a man, suffering as a man, overcoming temptation as a man, dying to the flesh, overcoming all the blasphemy, all the rejection, all the hate. By living in the holiest of unions, he came for us. Love died for us. Love lived for us. Love lives for us. Love is God. Love is a person, and love is action. He says it in his own words. In John chapter 15, verse 13, it says, Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. This verse is the ultimate expression of love and sacrifice. It is illustrated in the depth of one, what one would do for a friend. It expresses total loyalty and commitment to a friend. Verse, Im sorry, 1st John chapter 3"16 says, by this we know love that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. This verse connects the act of laying down one's life to the love demonstrated by Jesus. It encourages believers to emulate this selflessness. It is a demonstration to the world, an example to the world of the power of love and what love should look like. In Romans chapter 5, verse 8, it reads, But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. This verse emphasizes the unconditional love of God as Christ's sacrifice was made for all humanity even before they recognized him. And many may not be able to comprehend this and may think that, well, why would God, if God was God, be human and die? A true God could not die. But you have to understand the story and the history and the selfless act of God living as a human to experience humanity as He made it so that He could save humanity. It is a worthwhile effort to know God, to love self and to know that despite any negative experiences or hurtful words fed into us and infused in our souls continually is to know that the word of God, Jesus Christ, supersedes all of it, all of them. Jesus, God will not tell us to do what he did not make us capable of doing. So in this command to love, his last and most powerful command to us as humans is to love, to love deeply, to love God with all of our heart, mind, and soul, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. It is a possibility. He says so. It is not a fantasy, it is a reality. But you look at the world and the evil, and you may say, But how? Because we know that many of us blame God. So how? How is this a reality and how is it possible? It's simple by knowing Christ Jesus. It is simple by trusting and believing. Our success, our prosperity, and our ability to overcome the ills of this world, our ability to survive the evil that we experience can be overcome by love, by knowing Christ. God created us in his image. We are born of him, and that makes us more than capable. It makes us able to do exceedingly and abundantly as he did. First John chapter 4, verse 7 reads, Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Truly, listeners, knowing this God means that a person has the ability to engage with the creator of everything seen and unseen. We have the ability, being created of God, to know God at a personal level. It means that anybody who seeks this God has the opportunity to know real love. It means absolutely any person in the world can find solace, healing, help, companionship, friendship, acceptance, forgiveness, hope, and help in the arms of this loving Creator who made everyone, male and female, in his image. Yes, it takes faith and it takes practice, but it is all very possible. It takes believing in that

Christianity’s Claim: God Is Love

loving God. It means receiving that loving God's love and then sharing that love. Accepting Him is accepting love. Receiving Him is receiving love. And receiving His love means one can love oneself. And in loving oneself, one can begin practicing and applying that love in area in every area of life. And then share and spread healthy true love that is of God with everyone everywhere. Love is key, love is paramount. Love should ooze from our souls. Love is not for self, love is to be given. 1 John 3:18 says Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.

Dina LaFargue Augustin

Yes, love is an action word. God is active. Love is the foundation and the source in the Christian world because the Christian God is love. And I may sound repetitive, but this needs to be written upon your hearts. Of course, sometimes it is not evident or obvious in Christian life, but the fault is not God's, the fault is ours. It is the fault of the believer and it is the fault of the non-believer. We blame God for everything. Yeah, that's easy. We fail to take responsibility for what is our responsibility. When God put everything in human hands and under human authority, humans failed. Yeah, we don't have to handle it all alone. God is with us. We are not to handle everything in our own might. God is for us. That is where the new age spiritualists get it wrong. That is where the new age believers go down the wrong road. We do not have to fight our battles on our own. We do not have the power within ourselves alone. No, we do not have to fight in the ways we believe to be necessary in our flesh. We cannot be good on our own and we cannot heal on our own. Something or someone is necessary. We might we can. We might believe in our own might, we might believe we can in our own way, we might believe in our own meditative abilities. We might believe that we can focus long and hard enough so as to harness the power within to overcome; we might think we have, but in essence, we have not. And such is the New Ager, or the Tai Chi practitioner, or even the Buddhist monk. One might believe in the practice of energizing the Kundalini chakra spirit in Hinduism to transcend neutral thought, natural thought, seeking to gain spiritual thoughts and insights and power. But to what end and why? Go back to my summaries on those systems. What is the point if you truly understand them? The world needs love, the world needs God, the world needs healing, and in essence, all power, and I mean all power belongs to God and is of God. For if this God created everything seen and unseen and created the powers that be, then the source of all power is of God. The answer is how do you use it and who do you go to to access it? There are many deceptions, and power can be deceptively gained. Power and love of God are incomparable. In 1 Peter chapter 4, verse 8, it states, Love covers a multitude of sins. The love of God covers everything. And God's love is power, and his power is his love. So we may fuss and we may fight, we may judge others, we may condemn others, we may batter and bruise others, we may avenge ourselves and kill to satisfy our wrongs, our pains, and the wrongs committed against us. But we are wrong when we deal with our problems and dilemmas without God. Yes, we are misdirected and misguided and walking down the wrong path and living the wrong way. Love is to be lived, and love applied will overcome all the ills of the world. Love will suffocate and choke out any and all evil. Yes, it will. We must not try to handle evil in our own might or in deceptive power. No. Love is to be lived, love is to be applied, love is to be used to overcome all the ills of the world. We must understand the power of love which rests in God, which he imputed in ourselves to access through him. Evil can plot and plan and contrive our demise, but love is an action word, and love overcomes it all. The battle is the Lord's. He tells us to let Him handle it. Let love do its work. Listen, in Ephesians chapter 4, verse 2, it reads, As a prisoner for the Lord, meaning as a prisoner of love, then I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle, be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the

Applying Love To Evil And Suffering

Dina LaFargue Augustin

unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called. Verse 5 reads, One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God, and one Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. I'll read that again. One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God, and one Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. We are all called to Christ. We are all made by him and for him. A mystery, yes, but in any case, he has given us himself, he has given us his love and hope for a future, free from condemnation, free from sin and the torment of evil and the ills of the world. If only we believed. Now in stepping aside or in acquiescing to love, it does not mean we do not hurt. It does not mean we do not respond to acts of injustice, lying down, being stepped on like a rug. No, it means to be thoughtful, it means to be careful and lawful and to be self-controlled in how we respond to anything that comes our way. We are not to be reactive to our emotions, to negativity. We are not to be premature in our responses to the wrongs that are committed against us. We are not to be premature to anything negative that comes our way and how we respond. No, we are to be thoughtful and self-controlled. Considering God, acknowledging God in it, consulting with God. But we are not to be swallowed up in extreme grief and extreme rage, but we are to let God be in us and work through us because we can trust him. He is faithful, He is loving. And it is always towards us that he works. He is a fulfiller of his kingdom promises and principles and laws. The word of God says in Leviticus chapter 19, you shall not take vengeance or bear grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord. Romans 13 verse 10 reads, Love does no wrong to a neighbor. Therefore, love is the fulfilling of the law. Deuteronomy chapter 32. It is mine to avenge, says the Lord. I will repay in due time their foot will slip. Their day of disaster is near, and their doom rushes upon them. Hence, we do not need to avenge ourselves. We do not have to return evil for evil or hate for hate. Two wrongs do not make a right. Romans 12 19. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written, It is mine to avenge, I will repay, says the Lord. Therefore, with trust, believing we can seek to do things in a manner which is fitting to God, we can overcome. When we rush to judge, when we seethe in anger, when we take a swift action in rage, when we let our fears and hurts dictate our responses, we err greatly. Its not worth it because every action has an equal reaction. Sound familiar? Well, it's referring to Newton's third law of motion. He said it first. The principle that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction is known as Newton's third law of motion. This law states that whenever one object exerts a force on a second object, the second object exerts an equal and opposite force on the first. This means that in every interaction, there is a pair of forces acting on the two interacting objects. Thus, the forces are equal in magnitude and opposite in direction, illustrating the fundamental relationship between action and reaction in physics. Now, this can be found on the Worldwide Net. It can also be found in an article entitled AdventChristian Voices.com. You see, God and science are very compatible. Love is an action that should cause an equal reaction. Are you hearing me? The concept of grace and the reciprocal principle. The correspondence between Newton's third law and God's word can be understood through the concept of grace and the reciprocal principle. Just as Newton's third law states that every action has an equal and opposite reaction, God's grace also has an action on our lives, and that action calls forth an equal reaction. And this principle is illustrated by the biblical narrative of grace, where God's actions are followed by our responses, often requiring sacrifice and a

Grace, Action, And Newton’s Law

Dina LaFargue Augustin

love response to his grace. God made us in love, God infused love into us, and we need to respond to him in love with love, for we are made of love. The Bible, like Newton's third law, presents a dynamic and reciprocal relationship between God and his creation, between God and his people, where actions and reactions are always equal and in opposite directions. Again, love is an action that should cause an equal reaction. So first God loved us. So first love God because He loved you first. He loved us first. He is love, and love cannot exist without Him. Hence, love yourself because God made you in love. It's gotta start with us. Psalm 139 verses 13 through 15 read, For you formed my inward parts, you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works, my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. This is King David, who had a very personal relationship with God, who God says chased after his own heart. David had an encounter with God, an experienced God, and therefore was able to realize the power of God's love and how God knitted love into his very being. How wonderful it is to know. In Luke chapter 10, verse 27, and Jesus answered, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself. It is a discipline. Love requires discipline. In your mind, love should reside, and the love of God and the truth of God should overcome all the negative thoughts that persist, all the less things that persist, because God says we are not less than because we are made wonderfully and fearfully in his image. First Corinthians chapter 13, the chapter of love. If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging symbol. And if I have prophetic powers and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so as to remove mountains but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient and kind. Love does not envy or boast, it is not arrogant or rude, it does not insist on its own way, it is not irritable or resentful, it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, and hopes all things and endures all things. This is key because many people say that Christians are hypocrites. And I can agree because this verse says it right here. We can do miraculous things, we can seem holy and act holy and and praise God and preach his word. But if it is not done in love, the purest and sincerest of love, it will not even be acceptable to God. True love, God's love, is essential. It means knowing this God can is and can be the source and the meaning of life. The source of healing in a fallen world is God's love. It means that if everyone would give this God the opportunity, this God of love, this God that is love, then everyone will be more God conscious, more self-conscious, and more humane in thought, action, and deed. You see, love is all that matters because love is God. And God is love. Love is the engine that provokes healthy thoughts, a healthy mindset, a sense of self-control, emotional health and well-being, a sense of security in the midst of troubles, and an intimacy with God and self that supersedes all betrayal, traumas, and the like. In summary, part of my point is that love sells everything. And there is a song composed by Yanni called Love Is All. And it is sung by this outstanding woman, Vann Johnson, who is now resting with the Lord, that I want you to listen to. After soaking in her powerful performance

a multitude of times, and I think I will forevermore have come to my conclusion that she knew that God's love was indeed all that mattered. And I stand on my interpretation that love is indeed all, that love trumps all, that love conquers all, and that love is the answer to everything.

“Love Is All” Song Reflection

Dina LaFargue Augustin

Oh my God, what a love song! And I know my mic is not the best, but I suggest that you go to YouTube or whatever app you use to listen to music and play that song. It is to me one of the most powerful love songs because if you listen to the lyrics, if you uh feel her heart as she sings, you will see that it says love overcomes everything. The song begins by saying it was raining in my heart, falling deep inside of me, drowning in my soul. The silence rushes over me. And I believe at this point it is love that is raining in her heart, and it is love that is uh knitted deep inside of her soul, and then pain comes, suffering finds its way into her to try to snuff out that love. But these two forces, love and evil, are uh in this song and in these series expressed simultaneously. In essence, these two forces are fighting for her affection, they are at work, but love trumps, love overcomes. She is saying that despite it all, she is fighting for love. It says that love was there and darkness came, but love uh permeated her, and then the darkness was symbolized by the fire that was trying to destroy her and the love within. The words say, I'm breath against this fire, and I will not turn away. Oh no, I am waiting for time to carry me like a tempest to the sea, standing strong, watching over. So it is saying that we know, or you might know though that we are made as living souls by the breath of God. God is spirit, and the Holy Spirit is rua, expressed as the breath of God, a blowing wind, a blowing within us. It is his breath that dwells in power in the believer, and it is God's voice, often considered as a quiet whisper and not a violent one that speaks. So I know I may be going deep here, and I know I'm I'm just filled with the power of this song, but I'm sharing some biblical truths that I hope you will consider and grasp and allow to dwell in your spirit. So it is the love of God, and it is the power of God that snuffs out the evil that comes to haunt us, to destroy us. It is love that will continue through time on its own strength and in its own might, it will overcome. Love will always present itself, and love will always be. And the Chorus says, Love will keep me believing, love is all. Through the dark, can you hear me calling? Holding on while I'm dreaming, love us all. So, through the darkness, she is calling out to love, she is calling on the love that she always knew, and love is calling to her because love never wanes, and God never turns away. The song continues in this theme that love is the true power that keeps hope alive. These two are lovers of one another. God's love and our love for Him is the most powerful love relationship that anyone could ever have. Love will overcome any storm. Love cries out through the darkness, and if love is in us, our love should cry out to God. Her love in the song cried out and even through the darkness. Love sought love. Yes, we have two voices. Love saying, Can't you hear me? Calling through the darkness. That love finds you in your darkest moments, and the voice, our voice is crying out to love. Cannot you hear me? Cannot you hear my cries for help? But love hears and love holds. Love is the answer. Love is our savior, love is our deliverer. In every dream, we need not believe that love has waned or that love has left us. No, through every thought and every defeat, love conquers and love is there, and love will sustain. The next verse goes on to say, Thundering on high, love is all I knew before I fell, and now the shots of men echoing inside myself. I breath, I'm breath against this fire, and I will not turn away. I am waiting for time to carry me like a tempest to the sea, standing strong, watching over. The thunder is the power of love. Love is all she knew before I fell, and love is what she will continue to hold on to no matter what shots men sends her way, no matter what evil comes. The love of God is the breath against the shot of men, against the tempest, against all evil. Therefore, if we are made in love and by love, then love is what we first know in our heart, soul, and spirit, and love is what we should always come back to. And we should know that love is always reaching out to us, and that in God's hand we cannot be snatched out. Holding To Love Through Darkness

beingness, your life. No, hold on to love. It is the power against all evil. God is the great I am, He is the power, He is the truth, the life, and the way. He is the power against all evil. He says, I will never abandon you, I will never leave you nor forsake you. The song repeats itself over and over again. I am the breath against this fire. It reverberates as a reminder that despite anything, despite any attempt to silence love, love cannot be silenced, and love will prevail. Despite all time, love is there. He says, Stand with me, and love stands with us. Love does not turn away. Love prevails, and love will travail with you. There is no tempest within anyone's soul that is more powerful than the power of God's love. There is no darkness that dwells within anyone's mind that love cannot override. The power of love and the power of knowing love is what saves. Love keeps hope alive. Listen to the song over and over again and know that love's power conquers and endures despite any darkness. Love reminds her, love calls to her, even as she is falling. Love cries out. Love hears and she hears. She calls, and love hears. They call to one another, they respond to one another. Love responds to love. And love stands when all else fails. In closing, love overcomes a multitude of sin. Love overcomes all evil. When everything to destroy cannot destroy the love of God. Love will never turn away when everything tries to pull us away. Be at peace, Be in Him, Be in love. Truth Drips!
