Nice Doing Business with You, Ma'am, interview with SpeakUpTalk Radio
Recently I launched my book 'Nice Doing Business with You, Ma'am' in English. This fiction book tells the story of a young woman that enters the world of fast money in a male dominated financial world. She tries to find her way in the snake pit of jealousy, sexual intimidation, #Me-Too situations, tempation and deceit. Her interaction with men leads from time tot time not only to hileareous situations but also to harrowing encounters. Supported by her colleagues and business friends she discovers during her thriving career that honesty, perseverance, self-esteem, know-how and hard work are the key to success. The story is inspired by my own experiences as a woman in a men's world.
Recently the book was a winner in the International Firebird Book Awards in two categories (Cross Genre and Women's Issues). It led to an interview with Pat Rullo of SpeakUpTalk Radio. In the interview I among other topics explain why I wrote the book and give a sneak peak into some of the things that are in the book. Furthermore Pat and I had an interesting discussion about the #MeToo movement.
