Pastor Frank kicks off the new year by talking about why most resolutions fail and why willpower alone doesn’t last. Using Philippians 4:13 and John 15:5–7, he points to the real source of strength—abiding in Christ and letting God’s Word abide in you. The sermon challenges you to “draw a circle” around your life and ask who’s at the center: self or Christ. The call is simple and direct: seek God first, live by faith, and make your main resolution this year to become more like Jesus and less like the old self.
