Myrna Lewis has spent more than thirty years working with leaders, teams and governments around the world on exactly this. She built the Lewis Deep Democracy methodology while helping organisations through South Africa's transition out of apartheid, and the tools have been in use since 1993.

She shares what the resistance line is: the six stages a group moves through when something isn't being said, from a sarcastic joke all the way to "I'll kill you or I'll leave you."
