What if being unfinished does not mean you are a mistake?

In this episode of Rediscovering Faith, we explore Ephesians 2:10 and Paul’s declaration that we are God’s workmanship—created in Christ Jesus for good works.

This verse is more than a reassuring message about self-worth. It is an announcement of what God’s grace accomplishes. Sin has damaged us, our choices have consequences, and parts of our stories may not reflect God’s original desire. Yet through Jesus Christ, God makes us alive and begins creating something new within us.

You may have made mistakes, but you are not a mistake. Your rough edges do not mean God has abandoned you, and your unfinished places do not put you beyond his purpose. Your life rests in the hands of a gracious God who is still healing, shaping, and forming you into the likeness of Jesus.

We are not saved by good works, but we are saved for good works. God is forming us to reflect Christ through ordinary acts of love, mercy, integrity, forgiveness, and service.

You don’t find yourself—you receive who God says you are.
