Ep. 2 - No Excuse For Abuse with Dr. Elaine Rotenberg
Welcome to the Resilient Butterfly Podcast, powered by Feinberg Consulting, Intervention Case Management, Coaching, and Companion Services. Hosted by Pam Feinberg-Rivkin, this episode features a powerful conversation with Dr. Elaine Rotenberg, PhD, a clinical psychologist and Chief Clinical & Impact Officer at Alpert JFS and Levine JRFS. With over 32 years of experience, Dr. Rotenberg has been instrumental in shaping mental health initiatives, including introducing Mental Health First Aid to Palm Beach County, certifying over 14,000 individuals in recognizing the signs of mental illness and substance use disorders.
In this episode, we discuss the upcoming No Excuse for Abuse event on February 16th at the Kravis Center, featuring special guest Aly Raisman, Olympic gold medalist and survivor-turned-advocate for abuse awareness. Dr. Rotenberg shares her insights on the evolution of domestic abuse support services, the challenges of addressing abuse within faith communities, and the critical role of mental health awareness in breaking the cycle of trauma.
Pam also opens up about her personal journey of leaving an abusive relationship over 30 years ago, shedding light on the power of resilience, healing, and transformation.
