Intro to Lent Part III: St. Patrick's Day, St. Joseph, the Annunciation, Laetare Sunday and more!

In this episode, we continue our Lenten journey by reflecting on key feast days and traditions that help us enter more deeply into the season.
We start with St. Patrick, a model of missionary zeal and trust in God, model of prayer and I reflect on his AMAZING prayer, then turn to St. Joseph, by best friend and the best father in the entire world! We’ll also discuss the Annunciation and Mary’s fiat, Laetare Sunday and its joyful reprieve, and the veiling of statues, a striking tradition that helps us enter into the Passion more fully.
And did you know that remembering our baptism is at the heart of Lent? I should've mentioned this in part I haha! Lent calls us to keep our baptismal garments unstained, but when we fail, God offers us the grace to be made new. Confession is that grace, and yet we so often neglect it. But this year can be different. NOW is the time!
