In this episode, I talk about my book of the year: Chastity by Bishop Erik Varden. I picked it up during Lent kind of unexpectedly. And no—this isn’t a book just about celibacy or saying “no” to things. It’s about living with wholeness, poise, and freedom. An elegance of the heart

I share how this book helped me understand chastity not as repression, but as integration. It’s about bringing order to the senses, emotions, and desires so we’re not ruled by them—and that leads to a kind of inner peace and beauty I hadn’t experienced before.

Basically, chastity is for everyone. It’s not just about what you don’t do—it’s about living free from possessiveness and learning how to love rightly. I end the episode with a prayer for discernment from Pope Leo that I’ve been praying myself lately. I hope this episode encourages you to see chastity in a whole new way.
