Heavenly Human
Welcome to the Heavenly Human podcast where we help you pause and pivot toward true fulfillment.
Have you ever felt that stirring deep inside — that quiet voice telling you there's something more for your life? That feeling that despite all your success, something still feels missing?
We’ve been there. We are you. Three years ago, co-host Laura King was at the peak of her career as an Executive Recruiter. On paper, she had it all. Awards, accolades, and a healthy bank account. But each night, she’d come home feeling slightly off, a bit disconnected, and wondering, "Is this it?"
In 2023, it all came crashing down with a triple diagnosis - severe anxiety, ADHD, and sleep issues. Her body was screaming what her heart had been whispering for years. There was another path. There was another way of being.
Co-host Mondo experienced a similar calling. Three years ago, he was living what many would consider the dream — a successful startup founder with a six-figure lifestyle. Then, his heart called him to something radical: surrendering 99% of his material possessions to pursue a completely different path.
What Laura and Mondo both discovered through deep conversations, healing, tears, breakthroughs, and countless moments of growth was that we were being called to our unique sliver of Heaven on Earth — what we now call, Heavenly Human.
We've now joined forces to create this podcast, sharing what we've learned with other believers who feel that same nudge toward something more meaningful. We're here to guide you toward fulfillment through the embodiment of heaven on earth.
Peace, Love, Joy, Freedom, Abundance.
It’s all waiting for you.
"Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."

Stop Performing. Start Living.
Have you ever achieved everything you thought you wanted, only to feel an unexpected hollowness? That quiet, persistent voice asking "Is this it?" isn't a sign you're broken—it's a signal you're misaligned.
After interviewing over 30,000 professionals throughout my career, I've discovered a consistent pattern: the higher people climb, the more they're celebrated for what they do rather than who they are. This disconnect manifests in subtle ways—tension headaches that medication can't fix, the inability to mentally disconnect from work, showing up physically but not emotionally for loved ones, and that chronic fatigue no amount of sleep seems to solve.
This episode unveils the Four A's framework for reclaiming your authentic self: Awareness of when you're performing versus when you're present; Attitude that replaces self-criticism with curiosity; Action through small, consistent steps toward alignment; and ultimately, Alignment where your outer life reflects your inner truth. I share the story of Emily, a marketing executive who transformed her life by applying these principles—launching a business aligned with her natural gifts and becoming more present with her loved ones in just four months.
The journey back to yourself begins with one powerful question: "What feels true for me right now?" Trust what you hear, even if it's just a whisper. Your real life isn't waiting for retirement—it's waiting for you to choose it today. You deserve to hit the pillow each night and say, "I'm so happy I chose me." Ready to stop performing and start living? Your authentic life is just one decision away.

Hey, it's Laura, and welcome to your peak of the week. Today. This is all about reclaiming your real self. Stop performing, start living. There comes a moment, often quietly, often inconveniently, when the question surfaces Is this it? You've hit the milestones, built the resume, achieved the success you once dreamed of, but instead of fulfillment there's a faint, persistent hollowness. If you felt this, you're not broken, you're just misaligned. After interviewing over 30,000 professionals in my career, I've seen the hidden pattern again and again. The higher people climb, the more they're celebrated for what they do, and it's easier to lose touch with who they are.
Speaker 1:Misalignment doesn't always announce itself with fireworks. Often it creeps in quietly. The tension headaches that no amount of Advil can fix. The digital leash that keeps you tethered to work even during vacation. The dinners with family when you're physically there but mentally a thousand miles away. The relationship that feels increasingly surface level, even though you desperately crave a deeper connection. The inner critic whispering you should be grateful. Why isn't this enough? The chronic fatigue that no amount of sleep seems to solve. And perhaps the greatest cost, the fear that you might wake up one day and realize you've been productive but not truly present.
Speaker 1:That was Emily's story. That was my story, emily a brilliant, brilliant marketing executive who had everything on paper but quietly wondered why joy felt so elusive. It wasn't until her company shut down that she realized her success wasn't sustaining her, it was draining her. But here's the truth no one talks about. There's another way. You don't need to burn it all down. You need to realign.
Speaker 1:Through my work with high achievers like Emily, I found a simple, powerful framework for transformation. It's called the four A's. Let's break it down. The four A's are awareness, attitude, action and alignment. All right, awareness Misalignment hides in the noise of shoulds.
Speaker 1:I should, I should, I should Start by noticing when you're in performer mode versus authentic presence. Notice what energizes you versus what drains you. Notice what invisible rules you've been living by. I'm only valuable if blank, blank, blank, blank, blank. Rest is lazy.
Speaker 1:Next is the attitude. Awareness without compassion leads to shame. So shift your lens Instead of what's wrong with me, try what is this trying to show me. Replace self-criticism with curiosity. Meet yourself not with judgment but with radical self-kindness. And the next is action. Insight without action is stuckness. But action doesn't mean a grand overhaul overnight. It means small, consistent steps like scheduling sacred device-free time with your family or with yourself, saying yes to opportunities that align and no without guilt. Invest 10 minutes a day, reconnecting with what lights you up. Alignment, oh, one of my favorite words. This is where the magic happens. This is where your outer life starts matching your inner truth. Your leadership no longer demands perfection, it models presence. Your work becomes an extension of your soul, not your skill set, not just your skill set. Your relationships deepen because you're showing up fully, not just playing a role.
Speaker 1:When Emily stopped tying her worth to her title and started reconnecting with her true gifts, everything changed. In four months, she launched a business aligned with her natural genius, became more present with her family, hit personal and professional milestones that felt meaningful, not just impressive. Success stopped being something she had to chase. It became something she embodied. Here's what I want you to remember today. You don't have to perform your way to worthiness. You don't have to live a beautiful life that doesn't actually feel like yours. You can define success on your terms and live it from the inside out.
Speaker 1:Start today by asking yourself this one question what feels true? What feels true? This one question what feels true? What feels true? What feels true for me right now? Trust what you hear, even if it's just a whisper, especially if it's just a whisper, your real life, the one that you're here to live, is waiting for you. It's waiting for you. It's waiting for you to choose it. Oh, my goodness, seeing my husband's face when he, gosh, just saw the beginning of his dream come into physical form to be able to go into RACU and see this is the place, this is it. Something I had in my head is now a real life thing. Something I thought in my head became a real life thing. It starts with awareness. You can't do something about something you're not aware of.
Speaker 1:Attitude, the belief that you can, or the disbelief. Be honest, how many times are you championing other people but when it comes to yourself, you put yourself down? Stop that. The attitude is I deserve it. If they can go after their dreams, I can go after mine. I am worthy.
Speaker 1:Action, I mean because, seriously, if you don't have An attitude of like yeah, this is worth, like I am worthy, this gets to happen. It's my time Versus a place of complete victim mindset. No, if you move into action with a terrible attitude, do you think that thing is going to come true? No, small, consistent steps, and when you've taken it as far as you know how to take it, then you give the rest to God, and then the next day, you take it as far as you know how to take it and then you give the rest to God. Don't you want to hit the pillow at the end of the night and say, gosh, I'm so happy I chose me. Gosh, I'm so happy that I could listen to my inner guidance system. Gosh, even if it was just one small thing, I can really be proud of myself today. Yeah, today, yeah, you don't have to perform, you don't have to earn, you don't have to prove. Your worthiness is just a given. It is you, you are worthy.
Speaker 1:If you need to listen to this every day, there is something about the repetition I can, I can, I can, I can, I will, I will, I will, I will, I can, I can, I can, I can, I will, I will, I will, I will, I can, I can, I can, I can, I will, I will, I will, I will. Don't make me sing to you, but I will, but I will. For you to answer this question what feels true for you right now? Trust what you hear, even if it's just a whisper, especially if it's just a whisper. Your real life, real life, the one you're here to live A little more adventure, more experiences. What's your happily ever after? You don't have to wait for retirement to start living. You can choose now, wake up. Wake up, and if you ever want a little nudge or a little encouragement or a guide for the road ahead, you know where to find me.
