Heavenly Human
Welcome to the Heavenly Human podcast where we help you pause and pivot toward true fulfillment.
Have you ever felt that stirring deep inside — that quiet voice telling you there's something more for your life? That feeling that despite all your success, something still feels missing?
We’ve been there. We are you. Three years ago, co-host Laura King was at the peak of her career as an Executive Recruiter. On paper, she had it all. Awards, accolades, and a healthy bank account. But each night, she’d come home feeling slightly off, a bit disconnected, and wondering, "Is this it?"
In 2023, it all came crashing down with a triple diagnosis - severe anxiety, ADHD, and sleep issues. Her body was screaming what her heart had been whispering for years. There was another path. There was another way of being.
Co-host Mondo experienced a similar calling. Three years ago, he was living what many would consider the dream — a successful startup founder with a six-figure lifestyle. Then, his heart called him to something radical: surrendering 99% of his material possessions to pursue a completely different path.
What Laura and Mondo both discovered through deep conversations, healing, tears, breakthroughs, and countless moments of growth was that we were being called to our unique sliver of Heaven on Earth — what we now call, Heavenly Human.
We've now joined forces to create this podcast, sharing what we've learned with other believers who feel that same nudge toward something more meaningful. We're here to guide you toward fulfillment through the embodiment of heaven on earth.
Peace, Love, Joy, Freedom, Abundance.
It’s all waiting for you.
"Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."

Your Body's Been Whispering. Are You Ready to Hear It?
We've been systematically trained to ignore our body's wisdom from our earliest days. We celebrate pushing through discomfort, glorify exhaustion, and wear disconnection like a badge of honor. Most high-achievers exist in a perpetual state of burnout they've rebranded as success. But your body isn't the obstacle – it's your most faithful guide leading you home.
Ready to begin? Start by noticing without judgment. When tension locks your shoulders, ask what you're carrying that isn't yours to hold. When energy vanishes after an interaction, honor that intelligence. Tune out the noise to tune into you. Your body has been whispering all along. The question is: are you finally ready to listen?

Hey, it's Laura, and welcome to your Peak of the Week. So the Peak of the Week, it's where we bridge the gap between external success and internal fulfillment. So you ever have one of those days where something on the inside feels unmistakably wrong. You tell yourself the usual lies oh, you're just tired, one more coffee will fix it. Just check one more box and that hollow feeling will vanish. It never does. The corner office, the impressive title, the calendar that confirms your importance with every packed hour. And yet there it is again. The 2 am staring contest with the ceiling, the tension headache that arrives like clockwork every Wednesday afternoon, the digestive issues your doctor calls stress-related, that no prescription quite resolves.
Speaker 1:You've become masterful at compartmentalizing these signals. After all, discomfort is just the price of success, right, but what if these persistent physical symptoms aren't random inconveniences or signs of weakness? What if they're actually the most intelligent guidance system that you possess, one that's desperately trying to get your attention? What if they're the answers to the questions that keep you up at night? Is this the right role for me anymore? Should I make that career change? Why doesn't this success feel like I thought it would? Is there a different way to integrate my work and life that actually feels right. This is the truth hiding in plain sight. Your body, your body, speaks the truth before your mind is ready to hear it, long before burnout claims its space on your calendar, before resentment poisons your relationships, before achievements start feeling strangely empty, your body whispers. It's not betraying you. It's desperately trying to save you.
Speaker 1:The problem was never your body. The problem is that we were systematically trained to ignore its wisdom. From our earliest steps. We were celebrated for pushing through, for hustling harder, for silencing every signal that pleaded pause, breathe. This path isn't yours. We learned to glorify exhaustion, to wear disconnection like a badge of honor, and now most high achievers exist in a perpetual state of high-functioning burnout and call it success. But wise spread does not mean wise. Your body isn't the obstacle, it's your most faithful guide leading you home.
Speaker 1:When you learn to listen to your body signals without judgment, without shame, to your body signals without judgment, without shame, you unlock an entirely new dimension of clarity. That heaviness in your core, a warning flare signaling misalignment ahead. The tightness grappling your chest, a loving reminder you're abandoning yourself again. The sudden energy crashes after certain conversations. Your soul whispers. These aren't your people. You don't need another strategy. To push through, you need the courage to finally tune in. Tune in.
Speaker 1:Listening is your most powerful act of leadership. Listening does not mean surrendering. It means awakening. It means recognizing that extraordinary living is not built on ignoring yourself. It's built on honoring your deepest wisdom. And here's how that translates in real life.
Speaker 1:Decline the perfect opportunity that feels heavy. Protect your energy by removing the meaning that your body screams. Not today. Choosing aligned action. Aligned action over automatic achievement. Action, aligned action over automatic achievement. These small acts of radical self-respect create seismic shifts in your life's direction. Maybe? Well, no, because because this body you inhabit, it's not a machine. It is a living miracle. It was never engineered for constant override mode. It's designed to partner with you, guide you toward what's authentic, what's aligned and what genuinely belongs in your life. So here's your invitation Begin listening today. Begin listening today.
Speaker 1:When your gut tightens, don't bulldoze forward. Get quietly curious. When tension locks your shoulders, don't dismiss it as poor posture. Ask what am I carrying that isn't mine to hold? When energy vanishes after an interaction, honor that intelligence. Not everyone is meant to sit at your table. Know this Name. It Document it.
Speaker 1:A simple body journal, even just fleeting observations, reveals patterns you're too immersed to recognize what circumstances trigger that signal. What message was your body trying to communicate? I want to give you some practical ways to strengthen your mind-body connection. The first is the 90-second pause. So, before making decisions, take a deliberate 90-second pause. Place one hand on your heart, close your eyes and ask how does this feel in my body? How does this feel in my body? Notice what arises, whether it's expansion or contraction, heaviness or lightness, before your mind starts rationalizing. The second idea the calendar body check. All right. Review tomorrow's calendar tonight as you look at each commitment. Scan your body's response. What meetings create tension? Which energize you? Can you delegate, reschedule or reimagine the ones that trigger resistance?
Speaker 1:Last idea the physical reset practice. Set three daily alarms labeled reset. When they sound, wherever you are, I want you to take five deep breaths. Scan head to toe for tension, release one area that's holding stress. And then you ask what does my body need right now? What does my body need right now? Then honor the answer, even if it's just a stretch or a sip of water. Next idea the no rehearsal Practice, saying let me check my capacity and get back to you, instead of automatically yes, yes, yes. This creates space to consult your body's wisdom before committing. And the last idea the environment audit. Pay attention to how different spaces affect your body, which parts of your home feel energizing, which work environments drain. You Start making micro-adjust adjustments based on those insights.
Speaker 1:You don't need exhaustive analysis, you simply need to remain awake to these signals. Listening creates space and within that space, that's where transformation happens. With time, honoring your body's wisdom rebuilds profound trust with yourself, and when you trust yourself, your life expands. Let me say that again when you trust yourself, your entire life expands. And it's not through force, it's not through effort, it's not through more control, more force, it's through flow, it's through surrender. You are not lost. You are not lost. You are recalibrating, and the more you listen in, the more you remember the truth of who you are man.
Speaker 1:I don't even know how much I've got to add to that. All I know is that what my body is signaling to me is that that is truth. That is truth. And can we start teaching our kids this? Because I don't know about you, but I feel like everything needs an entire overhaul about what we are teaching our kids. What are the most important lessons? I mean, I won't get into all of this right now. But there there is going to be continued crumbling of these old structures to make way for the new, because something new is birthing, something new is emerging. And remember, when you're in that chrysalis, you're not even knowing what's on the other side of that, like you have no idea what you are capable on the other side of that.
Speaker 1:Allow yourself to believe that that is not entirely like, it's all possible, but it all is already part of your reality. So we can let go of these old programs that tell us to push through and just pound through the pain. Your body is communicating with you. Your body is always trying to speak with you. Your body always has something for you. You just need the courage to finally tune in. Tune in, tune in.
Speaker 1:If I, with four kids, can find the time to tune in, you can tune in. You can absolutely tune in. Find some quiet space. Find some quiet space. Get off the devices and into nature more often. I understand if you have to bring your device on a walk to listen to a podcast like this. I approve of that. I approve of that.
Speaker 1:But this is also about regulating our nervous system. And what is the best way to regulate our nervous system. It's to get out of fight or flight. And what are some ways to do that? Nature. Nature is so healing Get outside, get outside, get outside, get outside, get outside Movement. Stop sitting, get up, stretch deep breaths. Anytime you need to regulate your nervous system is all about the deep inhale and exhale. Try doing 10 of those and tell me how good you feel. I dare you. I also highly suggest that person, when they call or they text and your body, like cringes, maybe think you need to take a little bit of a break. A little bit of a break because that energy is draining you and we need a reset on you. We need a reset on calibrating to the truth of who you are, and that means you got to find some quiet time. You got to tune out the noise to tune into you. Tune out the noise to tune into you, tuned in to you. So, yeah, your body has been whispering to you. Do you hear it?
