Heavenly Human
Welcome to the Heavenly Human podcast where we help you pause and pivot toward true fulfillment.
Have you ever felt that stirring deep inside — that quiet voice telling you there's something more for your life? That feeling that despite all your success, something still feels missing?
We’ve been there. We are you. Three years ago, co-host Laura King was at the peak of her career as an Executive Recruiter. On paper, she had it all. Awards, accolades, and a healthy bank account. But each night, she’d come home feeling slightly off, a bit disconnected, and wondering, "Is this it?"
In 2023, it all came crashing down with a triple diagnosis - severe anxiety, ADHD, and sleep issues. Her body was screaming what her heart had been whispering for years. There was another path. There was another way of being.
Co-host Mondo experienced a similar calling. Three years ago, he was living what many would consider the dream — a successful startup founder with a six-figure lifestyle. Then, his heart called him to something radical: surrendering 99% of his material possessions to pursue a completely different path.
What Laura and Mondo both discovered through deep conversations, healing, tears, breakthroughs, and countless moments of growth was that we were being called to our unique sliver of Heaven on Earth — what we now call, Heavenly Human.
We've now joined forces to create this podcast, sharing what we've learned with other believers who feel that same nudge toward something more meaningful. We're here to guide you toward fulfillment through the embodiment of heaven on earth.
Peace, Love, Joy, Freedom, Abundance.
It’s all waiting for you.
"Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."

Hey, it's Laura, and welcome to this week's Peak of the Week. Today I'm talking to you about the voice that tried to steal my perfect day. So recently I had one of those days that felt like pure magic. I woke up, naturally, no alarm. I had the most just present morning with my boys. I was making everything fun. I was actually playing instead of rushing them out the door. I got some amazing work done that felt way more like flow than force. I even got an hour long run. Oh my gosh, it felt amazing. I was literally just vibrating with joy. Now you're like what, and now what? Yep, and then it happened.
Speaker 1:That voice, the one that's been lurking in probably my family line for generations. Well, have you really earned your worth today, laura? Have you really earned it? It came on so viciously, so suddenly, this sneaky program that just wanted to take me down. It wanted to tell me that I hadn't earned the right to feel this good. Have you met this voice, the one that shows up right when life feels too good to be true? Here's what I'm learning about these moments. They're not actually about us.
Speaker 1:This particular program, the one that questions whether I've quote unquote earned joy, doesn't even belong to me. It's generational, it's been passed down like an heirloom nobody wanted, but everyone kept carrying it. Everyone kept carrying it. How many, how many lines has this gone through? The belief that joy must be earned. And maybe for you it's different, maybe it's related to unworthiness, or every time this happens. I mean, there's so many of these programs that are running around in the background that just try to steal our joy. For me it's like you do not deserve to have this much fun. You have to be working harder, that if you're not struggling and striving, you are not working hard enough.
Speaker 1:But that day something was different. Instead of letting the voice take me down that familiar spiral of guilt and self-doubt, I caught it. I sought for what it was old programming trying to run a new life and I said nope, I deserve to feel this good and the program wants me to feel guilty for feeling good. But that does not get to win anymore. I get to feel good and I get to feel good about feeling good. All right, try saying that aloud to yourself a few times. I get to feel good and I get to feel good about feeling good. It sounds so simple, but this is like. These are the revolutionary sort of moments I'm having, because how many of us have been taught that constant struggle equals virtue, that if we're not hustling we're not worthy, that joy is something that we earn through suffering.
Speaker 1:So when that voice shows up, you know. You know this voice, the one questioning whether you've done enough to deserve peace or success or simple happiness. This is not your truth. Talking Generational programming, old beliefs, limiting beliefs. It probably served someone somewhere sometime, but it does not serve you now. Can you see this differently? Can you see it differently? The critic isn't protecting you. It's protecting an outdated story about what it means to be worthy. And here's what I want you to know you do not have to earn your right to feel good. You do not have to justify joy. You do not have to prove that you deserve peace. You do not have to hustle your way to worthiness. You are worthy right now as you are.
Speaker 1:So what do you do when the voice shows up, when the program starts running again? First, recognize it, name it. Name it. Name it, name it. Oh hi, oh hi, hi, old program, I see you. Second, remember it's not yours, it's been passed down. You, yes, you don't have to keep carrying it. Third, choose differently, you have the power to say that does not get to win anymore.
Speaker 1:Fourth practice a new thought. I deserve to feel good. I deserve to feel good about feeling good, or insert whatever your new thought is, and guess what? That day I think I had to do this 15 times because it kept coming up and it kept coming up and it kept coming up and I'm like holy cow, but the next time it's going to happen, maybe I'm not going to have to go through it 15 times, maybe it'd only be a couple. It's the reps we got to put in the reps.
Speaker 1:If the program runs deep, you got to catch it and you got to catch it and you got to catch it and then you got to put in the reps. If the program runs deep, you got to catch it and you got to catch it and you got to catch it and then you got to replace it with a new thought and replace it with a new thought and replace it with a new thought. But every time you catch yourself, call that a victory. Every time you catch yourself in the old pattern and choose something different, you're not just healing yourself, you're healing the line.
Speaker 1:What do I mean by that when I chose joy over guilt, I wasn't just choosing for me. I was choosing for my four boys, who are watching how I relate to happiness and success. Even if they can't quite register it, they can pick up on these things. I was also choosing it for all the clients that I serve who need to see that it's possible to thrive without the constant weight of earning it. And I was choosing for you yes, you, who might be carrying your own version of this program. So I want you to think about this. What program tries to steal your joy?
Speaker 1:What voice questions whether you've earned the right to feel good about your life? Maybe it's the voice that says you haven't worked hard enough, or that you don't deserve success, or other people are more qualified, more worthy, more deserving. Whatever it is, I want you to know that voice is not your truth. You get to feel good, you get to thrive. You get to experience joy without justification, not eventually, not when you've suffered long enough or achieved enough or proved enough. No, no. What would change in your life if you truly believe you deserve to feel good? I want you to think about that. What would change in your life if you truly believed you deserve to feel good all the time, that that was like your birthright. I mean, if you have kids, don't you want this for them? That answer might just be everything. I just want you to know you are not alone. I just want you to know you are not alone.
Speaker 1:Many, many, many of us are working to break these inherited patterns. It's not just you. You're talking to Laura over here, who literally talks to thousands of people every year, thousands. This is some of the most important work we can do, not just for us, but for the generations that come after us. I'm just so proud of you. I am honored to be coming into your ears right now. I do not take that for granted. I appreciate you to your ears right now. I do not take that for granted. I appreciate you. I am so filled with gratitude that you care this much. It is some of the hardest work, but some of the most rewarding work to work on our inner self With love and belief in your magnificence. Go make it an amazing, amazing day.
