Hello, and welcome to the Empower Your Audiology podcast. I am your host, Dr. Carrie Spangler, a passionate, deaf, and hard of hearing, audiologist, and certified professional, deaf, and hard of hearing coach. Each episode brings an empowering message surrounding audiology and beyond. Today marks a significant milestone in my podcasting journey.

For the past four and a half years my podcast has flourished. Thanks to the incredible support of 3C Digital Media Network, I want to extend my greatest gratitude to them for believing in my mission and providing the platform to amplify these important conversations. These years have been transformative, filled with insightful interviews, powerful lived [00:01:00] experiences, and an ever-growing community.

Passionate about audiology, related fields, and hearing empowerment. I've had the privilege of speaking with.researchers, clinicians, educators, advocates, parents, and most importantly individuals who are deaf and hard of hearing, sharing their unique journeys. Their voices have helped shape the narrative of what it means to truly hear, be heard, and feel empowered.

The guidance, resources and and encouragement from 3C Digital Media Network have played a pivotal role in helping me reach listeners far and wide. Their support has made every episode possible, and I'm profoundly thankful for their partnership. Today, I'm excited to share that I am starting on a new adventure podcasting independently.

While I'll always be thankful for the foundation built over these past years, this [00:02:00] new chapter is all about expanding horizons, exploring fresh perspectives, diving deeper into ideolog and coaching topics, and weaving in even more personal insights. So what can you expect moving forward? I am going to cover more in depth.

Content, I'll be diving into topics that impact our community from the latest in hearing healthcare to personal stories of resilience and growth. I will add a wider range of guests. So expect to hear from leaders in the field, individuals with lived experiences, innovative thinkers, parents, and even students and young professionals shaping the future of our fields.

I am going to add some personal reflections. I'll be opening about my own journey, challenges and growth, and I invite you to join me as we continue to explore what it means to be heard, empowered, and understood. [00:03:00] I want to explore some new formats and surprises from solo episodes. And deep dive conversations. There's more to come.
