Playlisted Podcast

This episode is hosted by Austin Burke and Filmore.

Filmore (Tyler Filmore) is a country singer-songwriter from Wildwood, Missouri, who now calls Nashville home. He's known for blending traditional country songwriting with pop and electronic elements, creating a distinctive contemporary country sound.

Filmore gained significant attention as the first independent artist to be featured on Spotify's "Hot Country" playlist cover. He has since accumulated over 245 million career streams with popular singles like "Slower," "Love That About You," and "Nothing's Better." His debut album, "State I'm In," was released in 2020.

In a significant career move, Filmore signed with international music icon Pitbull's Mr. 305 Records in April 2024. This partnership follows their earlier collaboration on the song "USA," released in July 2022. Mr. 305 Records released Filmore's single "If I Was You" in January 2024, followed by "South On Me" in April 2024, described as a fusion of country charm with a Latin spice.

Filmore has built a strong reputation for his energetic live performances, touring with notable artists such as Sam Hunt, Russell Dickerson, Brett Young, Carrie Underwood, Jon Pardi, Michael Ray, Chase Rice, Dan + Shay, Blake Shelton, Lauren Alaina, and Pitbull. He has also performed at major country music festivals including Stagecoach, Watershed, CMA Fest, and Country Thunder. Beyond his music, Filmore is also a CMA ambassador, actively advocating for and mentoring the next generation of artists.
