How we doing today. B-rob here on the Food for Thought podcast on this hump day, wednesday February 19th Gotta love it, gotta love it, gotta love it. We are in the middle of the week now and I just want to go to we're just going to go to some motivational things. We're just going to go to some motivational things. A buddy of mine, don Everson, who I've been following and we've been following each other since about 2019. He posted today I'm going to just roll right through it Godfidence, like confidence, but Godfidence knowing I can't but knowing he will. How great is that godfidence? Yeah, you got some godfidence in you because I know I got godfidence in me. Mean, you know everybody's got confidence, but do you got confidence? That's a great thing.
Speaker 1:Um, next thing keep your eyes on those who walk according to faith. That's Philippians three, 17. That's a great, that's a great verse. Keep your eyes on those who walk according to faith, like follow the ones who walk in God's path. But I honestly think, child of God, seek each other, want each other, and they definitely know each other. Matthew 7, 7. Keep asking at it will be given to you. Keep searching and you will find. Keep knocking and the door shall be opened. That's such a great verse and it's written many a different ways, many a different times, but it means the same thing. It means if you ask, the answer will be given, if you search, you'll find the truth and if you knock, the door will be open. And that's Matthew 7, 7. And that's that's such a great verse. I mean, like, if, if you don't use that universally in your life, then you're uh, not living life, because really that's the truth. I mean it, it's so innocent and so good.
Speaker 1:Um, anxiety is a signal alerting you. It's time to pray. Whew, man, I tell you, and that's so true, because that's, um, one of those things that you think about. And uh, like, wendy, when is the first time you pray to God when you're in, like, if you're in so much pain, like if, if you come down with something that hurts so bad, you're like God, please take this pain away, like that's the first thing you do, like naturally, like if you were to and I don't want to put this like just break a bone or something like that the first thing you're going to say is like, wow, that hurts, god, please take the pain away. But, yeah, anxiety, like, yeah, that means you need to go to your closet, your prayer closet, and you need to do what you've been called to do, and that's pray to your Lord.
Speaker 1:Stop doubting If you're good enough. Stop doubting If you're good enough. You are who he says you are. You are a child of God. And what I mean by who you are, who he says, I mean God. Stop doubting that. You are already a child of God. Stop doubting if you're good enough. You are who he says you are. You're a child of God. It's an amazing thing. God's power is greater than your past. Amazing thing, god's power is greater than your past.
Speaker 1:And another little meme that I uh post once a year, it's uh, it says uh, I think it says something like yesterday is heavy. Put it down. Yeah, god's power is greater than your past and yesterday is very heavy. So lay it down. Lay it down at the foot of the cross. I mean that's the key, right? That's the key.
Speaker 1:You gotta keep telling yourself the only good in me is Christ, like that's the good in you, that's who died for you, so that when you screw up, you can say, man, the only good in me is Christ. Really, because that's the fact. And uh, just know, God's not finished with you. Like your story's not written. Like don't get that idea in your head. Don't let the evil one tell you that you're no good or you're not good enough. It doesn't matter how old you are, or it doesn't matter how old you are. Remember Warren Buffett was like he didn't become a millionaire until after he was 50, or some crap like that. But I mean God's not finished with you and it's not about money anyway. So just remember that God is not finished with you.
Speaker 1:And if you think you've blown God's plan for your life, just rest in this. You, my friend, are not that powerful. God's plan for you is like was written before you were born. So you ain't like nowhere near powerful enough to say that you've blown a plan, or you didn't blow a plan or this, that and the other. So just think about that. I mean that's some powerful shit in itself. And I don't mean to cuss because I'm trying to be better, but I mean really that is some powerful shit stuff. If you think you've blown God's plan in your life, you ain't that powerful Like you ain't powerful enough to get know what God is going to do and what he's not going to do. So he's already written the book. So he written the book before you were born. So, like, just trust in his plan and know that you are written in it in a solid way and only you can trust and only you and the evil one can change that path. So think about that.
Speaker 1:And that's heavy in a nut. That's heavy, that's a big nut. That's food for thought in itself, like it really is big nut. That's food for thought in itself, like it really is. Like the only person that can blow god's plan for you is you. Like you're the only person and the evil one because he already wrote the book before you were born. Like, like he knows exactly what you're going to do. He knows exactly if you're going to follow the evil one or if you're not. So keep that in mind, folks. It's an amazing thing the storm, like you can walk right on the water if you you know. I mean, it's right there in Scripture, it really is. It's a crazy thing, it really is.
