The Food for Thought Faithcast with Be Rob

Ep.1- Building Faith at the Storehouse

Be Rob Season 3 Episode 1

What happens when biblical principles become the foundation of a building supply business? The Storehouse in Lincolnton offers a refreshing glimpse into a thriving company where faith isn't just acknowledged—it's celebrated and integrated into every aspect of operations.

Founded in Pembroke, Georgia in 2014 and expanded to Lincolnton last July, The Storehouse sells everything from doors and floors to cabinetry, composite decking, and metal roofing at prices that consistently undercut big box competitors. But what truly sets this company apart is their unwavering commitment to Christian values.

Meet the team that makes it all possible: Madison, the five-year veteran who serves as "the glue" across departments; Ashley, who embraces the challenges of her first sales role in this God-centered environment; Bill Long, the general manager known as "Wild Bill" for his incredible deals; and most uniquely, Rodney, the company chaplain who prayer-walks the showroom daily, blessing each product before it leaves the store.

The company's very identity stems from Deuteronomy 28:12—"The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty"—a scripture revealed to the founder as divine inspiration for the business. This spiritual foundation extends beyond their walls through community service initiatives, particularly during Thanksgiving when they assist families in need.

Perhaps most remarkably, Chaplain Rodney encourages customers to write scriptures on their interior walls before finishing construction, ensuring blessings remain literally built into their homes. It's just one example of how The Storehouse merges practical home improvement with spiritual enrichment, creating a unique shopping experience where customers find not just products, but purpose.

Ready to experience the difference? Visit The Storehouse in Lincolnton for unbeatable prices and service that reflects a higher calling. When you're building or renovating, why settle for less than materials blessed with prayer and purpose?

Speaker 3:

it's my, my son-in-law, and it's basically, you know, he had a vision of building things from. His family had a hardware store and he wanted to store up and do things the right way, the Christian way, and he is all about, uh, giving unto the Lord. That is amazing, that is amazing.

Speaker 1:

So, um man, I'm excited to be here.

Speaker 3:

I'm excited. Every day the Lord gives us a day, and this is the day the Lord has made.

Speaker 1:

Speaker 2:

Rodney, say hey to my listeners, hey listeners, how y'all doing.

Speaker 1:

Man, this is great. Tell us a little bit about Storehouse and how you became the company, chaplain and all you know.

Speaker 2:

Well, just prayed that God would put me in a place that I could serve and he put me here at Storehouse. And you know, our scripture is the Lord will open all the heavens and the storehouses of his bounty and he'll send rain in the land and season and bless it all and for the work of his hands, deuteronomy 28, 12. And I was able to start with the company as a single, just contractor and things just worked out through the Lord. That opened the door for me to come to work for the company and now I do media specialists and things of that nature and just do a lot of praying for the company and do a lot of prayer walks here at the store. And right now I'm up here in the storehouse, lincolnton, and just doing the Lord's work.

Speaker 1:

Is it true? You pray over every door, every piece of?

Speaker 2:

thing that we sell in this place. Yeah, when I came in this morning I took a walk and walked even all through the cabinets down there, Just praying for everything and pray over blessings upon houses as they purchased the lumber and the doors, the exterior doors, and just pray blessings upon the homes. And I always recommend, when people come in if I'm able to share with them and talk to them that they have church members and family members on the interior walls of their house. Take magic markers and write scriptures on them and on the doorway of the house, put scriptures on it and as they put their doors in, those scriptures will always be within the walls of their house.

Speaker 1:

It's a pretty cool, pretty cool idea. I think that's an amazing idea because I'm telling you it's done the other way around too. Yeah, it is so. Uh, you definitely have to pray over your house when you move in, or pray over a hotel room when you, when you check in, and because you never know. You know, that's an amazing thing.

Speaker 2:

Storehouse does a great job at sharing with the public and doing great things. Around Thanksgiving time we do a lot of work with the needy and feed a lot of families and things of that nature, and we just do a lot of work in the community trying to help out, try to be a blessing in the way that God allows us to.

Speaker 1:

Amen, that's amazing, man. Well, thank you for your time today, mr Rodney, absolutely. You hear that. Guys, that's amazing. We talk about faith and this is a faith cast, and I think I found well, I think God sent me to the right place, to where I can be a witness and help other peoples as well. And that's an amazing thing, guys, and we all know that. So, guys, don't forget to pray about everything and put God first in everything you do. Put God first in everything you do. I mean, when you drive home from work, when you get in that driveway, you should say a prayer and thank God for your safety that you got home Every time, not just one time. Do it every time. Do it for everything you do, guys, and don't forget to come see B-Rob at Storehouse Lincolnton. God bless you. Guys. Come on down to the storehouse. We got all the doors for your house, maybe even all the floors for your house. We got a lot of things.

Speaker 1:

You looking for cabinetry or composite decking, maybe even metal roofing we got you covered. We got you covered at the storehouse. Storehouse in Lankerton, at the storehouse yeah, got you covered.
