The Future Proves The Past: Trusting God's Timing
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
We trace a personal journey from a 2016 low point to a hard-won lesson on God’s timing, using Scripture and lived experience to show why delay builds faith, endurance, and discernment. Along the way, we examine culture’s rush, long arcs of truth, and how process protects calling.
• morning mindset, career setbacks, unexpected turnaround
• political awakening and pattern recognition
• “future proves the past” applied to social shifts
• censorship, discernment, and speaking truth with care
• the microwave generation versus seasons of God
• creation’s stages as a model for growth
• Abraham’s long wait and faith formation
• Joseph’s pit, prison, and platform
• Jesus’ appointed hour and patient obedience
• hidden is not forgotten, delay is development
• prayer for peace, trust, and character before platform
• resources, book plug, and final encouragement

SPEAKER_01So without further ado, hey guys, it's B Rob and welcome to the Faith Cast today. It is Friday, February 27th, and it is a nasty rainy day. It's still dark outside because I like to get up early. But man, it's crazy. Crazy stuff. Crazy stuff. Man, I look at uh I look at things. I ponder on a lot of things. I try not to worry about anything. I try to trust God's timing. Um I look back over the last ten years of my life and it's funny because you see, in 2016, I was at a low point in my life. I had uh been hospitalized for diverticulitis for the first time. I was working for a little dealership for a month. I was kind of I'm not a I was never really a job hopper or a career hopper or whatever you call those people who uh hop from job to job. I've I've always been my first job in the car business was eight years, my second job in the car business was five years, and they were some little places I landed in between getting those gigs where I stayed. Um last place was two and a half years, the place before that. Uh Gerald Jones, I worked for a total of about seven years, two times for a total of about seven years, and I was with Greg Hodges at Acura in Augusta for about four years, maybe five years. Um anyway, enough about that. Uh 2016, I had uh just come out of the hospital, got a phone call from Gerald Jones saying they were buying a Ford store, or they had bought a Ford store, and the finance manager from the Ford store that they got with the store was not working out, and they asked me to come do finance, so I did. And at first we were in trailers because they were rebuilding the dealership, that sort of thing. But I everybody was like it was election year, 2016. Everybody was on this Trump kick. Everybody that I worked with was very conservative. They were on a Trump kick. I was always, I was never a liberal, but I was not, I was, I was a conspiracy theorist. Everybody called me a conspiracy theorist, okay? But one thing I thought the whole Trump thing was a joke. I thought they done got an actor, she's gonna win. I I never I was one of them anti-government, screw the government type people. I uh questioned everything. I've always been that way. I just never voted because I never believed in the system. It's just I was one of them rage against the machine kids. You know what I'm saying? Even though rage against the machine is part of the machine. I found out later. But I guess what I'm saying is the future proves the past. Never underestimate what God is gonna do and be open to the fact that what you think is gonna happen now or in the next year may not happen for a long, long time. Because I'm gonna tell you, I had an awakening in 2017. Uh I had a spiritual awakening. Well, I had a reality check uh type awakening because Trump actually beat Hillary Clinton. I woke up at 3 o'clock that morning. Something woke me up at 3 o'clock that morning, and like I said, I thought we were doomed. Everybody was on this Trump kick. I thought we were doomed. I thought it was a joke. Everybody had Trumpy bears, everybody was this, that, and the other. I was like, we're done. We're done. And something woke me up at 3 o'clock in the morning, and it was like I was in a different dimension because Trump had won. And from that point on, like I said, the timing was there. That year, 2016, I worked for Gerald Jones. But from that point on, I made more money in the next four years than I had made in the whole 27 years I was in the car business. And I don't I'm a numbers guy. I'm a math guy. I'm a uh I learned to project numbers because of finance. So what you did this year, you're projected next year. But if you want a 15% growth, you gotta do this. I mean, I learned all that stuff. And after 20 years, you start to be able to not saying prophesy, but you start to be able to see patterns or recognize patterns, and you know when something good's happening, something bad's happening, that sort of thing. And that blew my mind because a lot of things happened, even in 18. Um, I found myself on the backwebs of uh 4chan and found somebody posting cryptic messages that seemed to be uh in the highest rank intelligence and military. And they were cryptic. And the more and more we read them and shared them on social media, the more and more things changed. You know, back in 2018 when we started sharing this stuff, everybody said we should be ashamed of ourselves. It was like everyone I knew was a gatekeeper for the system that is now collapsing that nobody likes. And that was 2018, now we're in 2026. You see how the future proves the past? You see how God is not in a hurry, and that's just an example. Think about it. Five years ago, the same people that are calling for the Epstein files this year to be released said they were a conspiracy theory. You see, things don't happen in our times. I mean, we found that stuff on the internet. We shared it, we wanted those things to happen right then. There were so many times that we shared a date and said something was gonna happen because it was on the Cube app, but we didn't understand the intelligence map that we looked like idiots. And of course, there were so many different rabbit hole conspiracy theories that were actually conspiracy theories that were put out at the same time to discredit what we were sharing, to make us look bad. So a lot of the stupid things like JFK Jr. still alive, a lot of the stupid things like I don't know, there's so many stupid things out there. But that's why I wrote a book called Discernment. And that's why you have to trust God and his timing. So today's episode we're gonna call it The Future Proves the Past when you trust God's timing. So I want to take you a minute, and I want you to look back at the last ten years and where we were at as a society ten years ago. Everything from abortion, everything from uh LGBTQ, everything from sex change, everything from I mean everything. The foods that we thought were normal and we ate daily ten years ago, we know to be toxic today. And the people that were whistleblowing ten years ago, like myself, about chemtrails, about GMOs, about surveillance, about everything. We were called conspiracy theorists. We were called crazy. And look at today. Look at today. You see, back then we knew that cures were suppressed. We knew that medicine was not medicine. And we knew that there was a future coming, that the truth would no longer be suppressed. You see, they they used this technology, they thought they were gonna be able to control us, hurt us, and the moment we started speaking the truth, what happened? They started burning our books. Our books aren't did aren't aren't paperback anymore. You see? They started suppressing our truth, and they did it to the point to where everyone saw it. And people are like, hmm. Maybe what he's talking about is true. You don't know how many people are in my inbox daily saying, I get my news from you, or keep going, or you're doing a great thing, but I get publicly shamed, and that's a fact, and people see that too, but it's okay because I stand for the truth, you see, and sometimes the truth takes time, even though you may see it, even though you may have a vision, even though God gives you something, you might not be ready for that at that specific time. So ask yourself something. Have you ever felt like God was taking way too long? Too long to answer, too long to open the door, too long to fix a situation, too long to fulfill a promise. You want to know why? It's because we live in a microwave attention deficit generation. Everything is fast. They've even labeled it. They've even given it a name so it sticks in your head. Because the faster you can make money, the faster they can steal it. Like I said, we live in a microwave generation, an attention deficit generation. Fast food, fast shipping, instant replies. We need an answer right now. Let's fix the problem today. That's society, that's the world we live in. That's what it expects of us. You see, but we serve the God of host, a God who moves in seasons. Let me remind you in Isaiah forty six, ten, it says, declaring the end from the beginning. In Galatians 4, 4 says, but when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his son. You see, not early, not late, definitely not rushed, because God is not in a hurry. And if the Almighty God of hosts, the author in the sky, is not in a hurry, why should we? Why should we be in a hurry? You see, God builds in stages. It's right there in the book. Genesis 1 shows us something very, very, very not only powerful, but meaningful. You see, God could have snapped his finger and created everything by the snap of his finger. But you see, he chose process. Day one, light, day two, sky, day three, the land, vegetation, day four, sun and moon, day five, living creatures, day six, humanity. You see, God formed, he filled, then he finalized. You see, if God used stages in creation, why are we surprised when he uses stages to build us? You see, some of you are judging your second day like it's supposed to be your last day or your day six or your day before rest. That's not the way it works. That's not the way it worked in the Bible. You see, formation takes time. And just because it's unfinished doesn't mean it's failing. You see, sometimes waiting feels like denial, but it's not. It's development. Look at Abram. Abraham, Genesis 12. God promises him a son and a nation. But you have to go all the way to Genesis 21, 5 to see Isaac was born when Abraham was a hundred years old. That's a twenty-five-year difference. That's not just a little delay, that's development. If you look at Genesis 15, six, it says, and he believed in the Lord, and he accounted it for, he accounted it to him for righteousness. You see, waiting built faith. Waiting built trust. Waiting built endurance. What if the promise didn't come yet because the faith to carry it wasn't not finished growing? Maybe your faith wasn't strong enough for your promise. Maybe it's not now. But there's hope because the future proves the past. You see, delay is not denial. There's always a process before promotion, even in business. You don't just boom. Make it work. I mean, some people get lucky and just fall. You know, a blind squirrel always finds a nut. Yeah. But that's a percentage game, and that's less than two percent. You see, Joseph had a dream at seventeen. Seventeen years old. But before he ever made it to the palace, he had to go through the pit. Before he got to be into leadership, he had to go through slavery. So he before he became any kind of authority or authoritative figure, he had to go to prison. You see, in Genesis 41, 46 tells us Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh. That was thirteen years. Thirteen years had passed since the seventeen-year-old dream. Thirteen years between dream and fulfillment. But if you look at Genesis 50, verse 20, it says, You meant evil against me, but God meant that for good. You see, that pit was not punishment, that prison was not abandonment, it was actually preparing him. You see, God will take you through a process before he puts you on a platform. You see, if he gave you influence before you had integrity, it would probably destroy you as it does a lot of people. Or just delays your blessing. You see, our God is not a now God. Our God is a generational God. I mean, yes, sometimes things happen, miracles happen, and God, you know, answers quickly. But if you look at the big picture and throughout history, God moves generationally. Genesis 15 13, God told Abraham his descendants would be strangers in a land not of theirs. In Exodus 12, 40 says Israel was in Egypt 430 years. You see, Israel was in Egypt 430 years. So are we actually talking about a country here? You modern day publicist? You modern day preachers? You modern day Christians. No, we're talking about a people, not a country. Country wasn't founded until what 1948? 43? I can't remember the date, but anyway, that's another podcast, and they'll call me names. Like anti-seminal. I don't want to say it, but you know, you know what I'm saying. I love you guys. I love all you guys, but truth is the truth. Anyway, like I said, God moves generationally. Exodus 12, 40 says Israel was in Egypt 430 years. You see, God wasn't reacting, he was working a long-term plan. He was playing chess, not checkers. You see, sometimes you're living in a chapter that started before you were born, way before you were born. If God is a generational God, he thinks generationally. You see, we think impulsively and emotionally because that is the way we are programmed in this world, in this society. You see, he sees 400 years. He sees a thousand years. You see, we struggle trying to keep up month to month. We struggle with a quarter of a year. You know? I mean, even Jesus waited. Of course he did. John 2.4 says, Jesus says, my hour has not yet come. John 7.6, my time has not yet come. You see, if the Son of God waited for the right hour, God in the flesh, we're talking about the same, the generational God. Why should we rush our hour? Why? If Jesus didn't rush his, why should we rush ours? It's like we're trying to race to the finish line. You know? Killing ourselves and we don't even know it. Half of us are already dead and we don't even know it. Because we're just doing what the world tells us to do every single day. Galatians 4 4 says, when the fullness of time had come, heaven operates on fullness, you see? Not on pressure, not on panic, not comparison. This is the point. You see, hidden doesn't mean it's forgotten. Delayed does not mean it's being denied. And process is definitely not punishment. If God took time with creation, God took time with Abraham, if God took time with Joseph, if God took time with Israel, if God took time before sending Jesus, then he's definitely, definitely, most definitely, taking time with you. Not because he's ignoring you, not because he forgot about you, but because he's building something that cannot be rushed, it cannot be done in a day. There's that old saying, Rome wasn't built in a day. You see, if God is taking his time, then he's building something that will last the test of time. Let's go to the Lord in prayer. Dear Father, Lord, dear Heavenly Father, we thank you that you are a masterpiece. We thank you that you are not rushing anything, Lord. We thank you that you are not an anxious guy, Lord, that you are not coming from behind, you are not behind schedule, you are on schedule, and you are not scrambling just to fix our lives, Lord. We thank you that you take your time and refine your work, Lord. Lord, we know that you are the beginning, you are the end. Lord, for every person listening, Lord, I pray for them if they feel stuck, if they feel like their life is being delayed, Lord. We know that your word says that we are to be still and know that you are God. Lord, I pray for anybody that feels overlooked. Lord, I pray that you would give them peace in your process. Lord, help us to trust you while we wait. Help us to have faith. Lord, help us to grow in these seasons where you mold us and shape us. Lord, please forgive us trying to rush what you are doing. Please forgive us for comparing our own timelines with somebody else's, Lord. Please, Lord, build our character before you build our platform, Lord. Strengthen our faith. Lord, prepare our hearts for the promise that you have prepared for us. Lord, teach us to trust in your divine timing, Lord. And when it feels slow, just remind us that you are working digitally behind the scenes. Lord, we thank you. Lord, we trust you. Lord, we thank you for your wisdom and grace. Lord, we thank you for just being able to trust your plan, Lord. We know that all good things come when it comes to you, Lord. It's in Jesus' holy heavenly name we pray. Amen and hallelujah. Well, guys, I uh just want to say I love you. And guys, I want to thank you for uh tuning in. Make sure you visit the website, www.forecchristministry.com. And there you can um buy a t-shirt. You can even send me a design, and I'll send you the t-shirt with the design on it. I can even help you make a design if that's what you like. Check out my book Discernment, a wake-up call for a generationally cursed society. I think you guys would like that if you've gotten this far along without stopping on the podcast. That means you're interested in the things I have to say. So I think you would like that. So check that out. And guys, remember it's always on God's timing. Even when you feel like you are being abandoned, that is the evil one on your shoulder. The future proves the past. And if you look at today, people are talking about things you would have never thought they would have been talking about five years ago. Or ten years ago. So you see, even some of us that saw ten years ago, five years ago, tried to tell and warn people and got mocked and laughed at. We didn't understand then what God was doing. If all that information would have just been out at one time, you see how numb the people are getting now. I mean, a lot of people don't care. And there's some sick things, some very dementid demonic, sick things. And we should care because those are the ones that make policy for our lives. Those are our slave masters, those are those Egyptians and pharaohs back in the day. You see? We should care. But you see, ten years ago, society wasn't ready. Five years ago, society wasn't ready. And they're still not ready. That's why it's the information is being slowly trickled out. But guess what happens to a dam when it has a crack and it's not being repaired, or you keep putting duct tape on the same thing. Eventually, the duct tape wears, the dam breaks, and there's nothing you can do to stop it. So remember, the future proves the past. God is in control and God wins because God is the author of the story. And nothing can stop that, and nothing can stop what is coming. So if you do not have a relationship with Christ, you better get it right.
