A Tribute To The Misfits
SPEAKER_00It is to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the ones who see the world differently, who don't fit neatly into boxes, and refuse to live by someone else's script. You can quote them, you can disagree with them, you can glorify them or vilify them, you can shake your head at their ideas or be inspired by their courage. But the one thing you cannot do is ignore them. Because they change things. They disrupt what's comfortable, they challenge what's normal, and they push the human race forward. Sometimes with loud revolutions, sometimes with quiet persistence that changes everything over time. They see possibility where others see limits. They dare to dream out loud when the world tells them to be silent. They take risks, they stumble, they rise again, and they keep going. Not because it's easy, but because they can't imagine doing anything else. These are the ones who remind us that every great leap forward was once considered impossible. So here's to them the ones who won't sit down, won't be quiet, and won't stop until the world is different. Because they're the reason it will be.
Sponsors Support And Prayer Requests
Bible Trivia Three Quick Questions
SPEAKER_05Winston Churchill says, Success is not final. Failure is not final. It is the courage to continue that counts. Sam Levinson says, do not watch the clock, do what it does, keep going. Theodore Roosevelt, believe you can, and you're halfway there. Susie Chasm, one of my favorite ones. Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will. Doubt. I like to say fear, but um, you know, fear is false evidence appearing real. And I'm telling you, man, 99% of the things that we fear and make up in our hit never come to fruition. Never come to fruition. And we ruin our blessings because of fear. A lot of times we ruin our blessings because of fear. We alter the course of history because of fear. And God knows that, and it takes a lot longer and a lot skinnier road to get where we're going a lot of times, if that makes sense, guys. Well, guys, make sure you check out the website, www.forchministry.com. Check out the book discernment, a wake-up call for a generationally cursed society, and check out my new health and wealth website, www.trainot.com forward slash B-rob. And man, let me tell you, these uh these supplements are pretty good. So if anybody ever thought about taking the Azimpic shot or that sort of thing, we got some natural, we got a natural uh not a version of it, but it's uh it kind of acts the same way. It kind of acts the same way, it's good stuff, and if anyone is interested in that, reach out to me, send me a text, 706-267-1467. I can also take prayer requests there. So, or you can order you a t-shirt, whatever you want to do, however you want to do it. Let's just make sure you do it. You know what I'm saying? Just make sure you do it. And guys, I'm looking for some more sponsors. Um, so if you've got a business, uh church, online presence, anything, just let me know. And guys, if you would like to uh give to the podcast, I mean, if you'd like to give a gift, um, we sure could use the money. Haven't had a paycheck since October. That's a long story, and a lot of my listeners know. Um, but we're this close to getting the uh insurance brokerage thing off the ground. I'm uh starting some training classes today. I'm waiting on the insurance companies to get my numbers back so we can make some money. We can start helping people with their final expense needs. That's gonna be a good thing. It's gonna be an amazing thing, God willing and God bless. But guys, um, right now it is time for you know it, Bible trivia. Yeah, Bible trivia. You know the deal. We got three questions. We go from easy to hard. So here let's go. Let's get the first question out of the way. Who was swallowed by a great fish? That's a pretty easy one. We'll give you a couple seconds on that. Who was swallowed by a great fish? Alright, that was an easy one. If you said Jonah, you know you got it right, and that was in the book of what? Jonah, chapter one, verse 17, and there's that number again, that 17 number, you know it. No such thing as coincidence. Alright, question number two. What was the name of Moses' brother who helped speak to Pharaoh? What was the name of Moses' brother who helped speak to Pharaoh? Give you a couple seconds on that one. All right, guys, if you said Aaron, you had it correct. And that is the book of Exodus, chapter 4, verses 14 and 16. All right, let's get to the harder question. The harder question, let's see. Let's see where my scala's at. Which king had a dream about a large statue made of different materials that Daniel interpreted? All right, give you a couple seconds. All right, if you said King Nebuchadnezzar, you got it correct, guys. All right, good for you. And that, my friends, is the book of Daniel, chapter two, verses 31 and 30, 31 through 45. Wanna thank you guys for playing Bible trivia today.
SPEAKER_00Tell me one piece of advice you'd give to a hopeless romantic.
SPEAKER_01Well, don't do that. Topeless hope. Don't do that. That's the rule number one. Keep the hope.
Finding Hope In The Storm
The Source Of Hope Is God
Strength Through Joy And Peace
Overflowing Hope To Help Others
The Captain In The Storm Story
Prayer For Peace And Trust
SPEAKER_05Keep the hope. Well, good morning, FaithCast fam. We're gonna be talking about something today. We're gonna be talking about finding hope in the storm. Cause every day there's a storm. So, guys, let me ask you a question. Let me ask you something. Have you ever been in a storm where you didn't know how things were going to turn out? I'm sure we've all been there. You know, the uncertainty, not just the kind with the rain and thunder, but the kind that kind of just like smacks you right upside the head, hits your life hard. Maybe it's a storm in your health, maybe it's a storm in your finances, maybe it's a storm in your relationship, or relationships, which usually means it's you. Or maybe it's just a storm in your mind, in your head, where anxiety, fear, and like I said, uncertainty won't even let you sleep, won't even let you rest. We are definitely living in uncertain times, right, guys? We're living in a time where a storm is not rare. We might find four or five of them in a day. It's constant. Right? Just constant just barragment of storm. Just bombarding you. Well, guys, I came to tell you today that there's great news. There's good news. You see, God never promised a storm-free life. Jesus never promised a storm-free life. But he did promise. And he did promise a hope-filled life. Hold on, pain ends. If you have your Bibles, please turn them to Romans chapter 15, verse 13. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Not just a little bit, not just a smidge of hope. But a hope that fills you. A hope that overflows you and out of you. So guys, right now we're gonna walk to we're gonna walk through three stages of hope. Hold on pain ends. I wrote a song about hope, and that's what it's called. Hold on pain ends. It's an acronym. But the three stages of hope, the source of hope, the strength of hope, and the overflow of hope. So, stage one, the source of hope. Where do you think that is? Who do you think that is? That's God Himself. You see, Paul doesn't say hope comes from your circumstances. He says, May the God of hope fill you. That means hope isn't something that you create, right? But it's something that you receive, like grace. Because you see, hope is rooted in who God actually is. You see, God is faithful when everything fails. God is constant when everything changes. Everything else around you. God is sovereign when everything feels out of control like it does right now, right? So let me show you a moment in history, in biblical history, where people had every reason to actually panic. Let's look at Exodus chapter 14, verses 13 and 14. Moses answered the people, do not be afraid, stand firm, and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Lord will fight for you. You need only to be still. You see, picture this. The sea was in front of them, and the army was closing in behind them. They had no options, no escape. Either drown or try to swim, drown, or get taken or killed by the army behind them. None, no escape. But you see, God made a way when there was no way. Right there. God made a way when it was humanly impossible. And you see, here's what that teaches us. Your hope is not in what you physically see, it's in your trust in God and who God really is. So let me ask you this. Where have you been placing your hope? You've been placing it in people, you've been placing it in your own plans, in your own outcomes. Because I'm here to tell you, I know from experience, that every one of those things will fail. Every one of those things will fail because if it's not rooted in God, if it's in people, if it's in plans, if it's in your outcomes, they will all fail you. But the living God will never fail you. So, guys, if you want real hope, you've gotta stay connected to the real source. You see? Which brings me to the strength of hope. You see, you have to have joy and peace through that trust in God. So, what does that mean? What does that mean for you? What does that mean for me? It means you don't have to wait for the storm to pass to have any kind of peace, right? It means you can sit right there in the middle of the storm because God will prepare a table for you and dine with you right in front of your enemies. Your anxieties, your worries, the storm. You see, it means you don't have to have the answers to have joy. You can rest assured and have joy because you know the one who sits with you. The Almighty God. And real hope says, even if I don't see it, even if I don't see it yet, I trust that God's working. I know that God's working. Hold on, pain ends. You see, and that kind of trust changes how you walk through life. You end up praying differently, you end up thinking differently, you end up responding differently. So, guys, when that worry shows up, when that anxiety shows up, when that problem shows up, and trust me, it will, it might be when it might be in the next 20 seconds, it might not be till tomorrow, but it's gonna show up. Don't just sit in it, sit with God in it. Bring God into it. You see? Talk to him honestly. Like, Lord, I don't I don't understand, but I'm trusting you. I I feel uneasy, but I know you got my back. I know you're sitting right next to me. Paul and Silas replaced panic with praise. You see, even if it's a whisper, even if it's through tears, crying out, even if your voice is shaking, speak the truth, because hope gets stronger when it's anchored in trust. And your honesty. Last point the overflow of hope. We have to share this with other people. You see, that's where the message gets powerful. Paul doesn't stop at you being filled with hope. In Romans, chapter 15, verse 13, is so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. You see, overflow is more than just being enough. See, it's not just enough for you to survive, but enough for you to have your cup overfloweth. You can fill other people's cup. There's so much food on your table that. It falls off. Overflow. It's not just enough for you. It's so that you can impact other people's lives. You follow where we're going with that. Because you see, hope wasn't meant to be contained. It wasn't meant to be put in a jar. It was meant to be shared. Let's look at Matthew chapter 5, verses 14 and 16. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Let your light shine before others that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. You see, when God fills you with hope, your life starts to shine in all the dark places where once was, right? You see, people will notice there's something different about your peace. There's something different about your life. There's something different about your attitude. There's something different about your response to them. You're glowing. You see, and that opens the door for them to come back home to the flock. And that's what the shepherd, the good father, that's what God wants. You don't have to preach a whole sermon to someone. All you gotta do is open the door. Sometimes hope looks like a text message saying, I'm praying for you. Or just telling somebody that you appreciate them. Speaking life into somebody when somebody is feeling defeated. You see? It doesn't come from beating people up. It doesn't come from bad criticism. It doesn't come from murmuring. It doesn't come from complaining. It comes from appreciating. Speak in life. The power of life and death in a tongue. Hope comes from God. So speak life. We have the same author. Even though our personalities may be different, our problems may be different. We have the same hope in the same author. And we should rejoice and praise and let that hope overflow. So other people can see. Who around you right now needs hope? A friend? Somebody struggling? A co-worker? A family member? Someone losing their faith? Don't keep what God gave you all to yourself. Let it overflow. Because the same hope that carried you might be the very hope that someone else needs. It might be the very hope that saves someone else. And that's what's intended it to do. That's what God is intending it to do. And you're not doing it alone. You're doing it by the power of the Holy Spirit. Man. That's amazing. That gives me chills. That means God will give you the words. God will give you the courage. God will give you the moment when the time is right. And He will make it perfect. Let me tell you a little bit of story. This is a story about a man caught on a ship in a violent storm at sea. The waves are crashing, the winds howling, the boat felt like it was about to just crash apart, like split in half, right? Everybody on board was panicking. Except a kid, a little boy. He was just sitting there calm. No fear, no panic, just peace. Everybody else panicking, freaking out. Someone ran by and finally asked him, Why aren't you afraid? Don't you see the storm? You need to come. You need what what why what's going on? Why aren't you scared? Don't you see what's going on? The boy calmly looked up and said, Yeah, yeah. I see the storm. But my father's the captain of the ship. You see that right there. That's it. That's the kind of hope God is offering you. Not a life with no storms, but a confidence in the middle of them. To know that your Father is there. And he's going to take care of you. Because you see, when you know who's in control, you don't have to fear what's out of control. And be honest with yourself. I'm going to be honest. Sometimes we fear that we've been overwhelmed. Sometimes we feel like we can't do anything, like things are out of our control. Like you we've been piling things up, right? Fighting battles nobody sees. Wondering how it's all gonna work out. I know I have. I know some of you do. You got to. That's human nature, right? But guess what? God is still the captain. Our father is still the captain. You see, the storm didn't catch the little boy off guard. Why should it catch us? You see, the waves don't override God's authority. And you see, what feels completely out of control to us is completely in the hands of God. So, guys, don't give up. Don't lose faith. Keep your trust, keep your hope. Hold on, pain ends. Don't let the storms steal your hope. Because I'm here to tell you the God of hope is still with you. He's with me. And he still works the same miracles as he did when he brought Jesus back from the grave and Lazarus back from the dead. He still works those same miracles today. And guys, if you don't have a relationship with Jesus, you better get right. Let's go to the Lord and pray. Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you today, Lord. We know that you are the Father. We know that you are the God of hope, Lord. Lord, right now I pray for everybody listening who feels overwhelmed, who has anxiety, who feels very uncertain to the future, what the storm is going to bring. I pray that you fill them with joy, Lord. I pray that you fill them with peace. I pray that you do the same with me. I teach I sit here, Lord, and I and I think and I and I try to teach, and I um I just appreciate the things that you allow me to say and the things that you allow me to do, Lord. Sometimes I don't even have the words or I don't even know what I'm gonna say, Lord, and I appreciate the fact that that you step in and give me the Holy Spirit and allow me to spread my hope, Lord. And I thank you so much for that. Lord, I just pray that uh you fill everybody with joy, with peace, and um just teach them to trust you, Lord. Even when they don't understand, Lord, remind them that you are the one in control and that we are not. Lord, we just pray thank you for your hope, your overflow, your grace, your mercy. And most of all, just please keep us in your hand as we learn to trust in you, Lord. It's in Jesus' holy, heavenly name we pray these things. Amen and hallelujah. Well, guys, we will see you tomorrow.
Discipline Faith And Not Quitting
SPEAKER_09Enjoy the rest of the show. This is something that I've actually relied on a little bit myself. Uh, whenever I get to a low point where I think, why do I even bother? I just remind myself, this is where most people stop, and this is why they don't win.
SPEAKER_02Whenever you feel like quitting, I want you to think to yourself, if I quit now, I'll soon be back to where I started. And when I started, I desperately wanted to be where I am now.
SPEAKER_10The distance between your dreams and your reality right now is discipline. Discipline is doing the things you hate to do, but do it like you love it.
SPEAKER_03You may have some things you don't understand, you can't figure out, you don't see the answer. That's okay. You don't have to see it. This is the key to faith. Trusting when you don't understand, trusting when you don't have the answers, trusting when it seems like just the opposite of what you were hoping for. Quit worrying about those things you can't figure out. God has you in the palm of his hand. I know not how this is going to work out, but I do know who's on the throne. I do know who's directing our steps, I do know who's planned out our days.
SPEAKER_08It's an urge to be told. Every champion has felt it, every president has felt it, every king has felt it, every lion has felt it, every winner has felt it, every soldier has felt it, every victorious person has felt it, the urge to quit. Don't you give up on your dream? I don't care if you don't have the money, you don't have the help, and you don't have the family for it, and you don't have the background for it, and you don't have the friends for it, don't you give up on your dream. Don't you do it, don't you do it, don't you do it? It may take you twice as long. You may have to take courses and classes, you might not read as fast, you might not move as quick, you might not have as much, but don't you quit. Don't you quit? Don't you quit, you do make a difference. You do make a difference. You do make a difference. As weak as you are, as tired as you are, as many mistakes as you make, you do make a difference. There is something they would lose if you were not there. There was something that they would miss if you were not there. You do make a difference. You do make a difference, you do make a difference for people.
SPEAKER_07I can't I lost a lot of stuff, I lost a lot of friends, I lost a lot of strength, I lost a lot of time, I lost a lot of time, I lost a lot of money, but I can't I lost me I was the easy I lost the easy If you lose the job, take the fight If you lose the bow, take the fight, if we move the child, take the fight, it's got the fight, it's got the ball and what's the ball in the fight, it's got the witch in the fight, it's got the ball, take the fight, it's got the ball in the fight, if we got the fight, keep the fighting, if you lose the fitness, keep the fight, if we got a hard trouble, keep the fight! You might not gotta go hard, but we gotta keep the fight.
