Dr. John Kirch is a professor at Towson University, where he has taught journalism and media courses since 2002. Before entering academia, he spent 16 years as a newspaper reporter and magazine editor covering everything from local news to political campaigns and national security. He holds a Ph.D. in Journalism and Public Affairs from the University of Maryland, College Park.
