Bridger of Worlds
The Bridger of Worlds podcast is an in-depth walkthrough between the world of matter and world of spirit. I struggled with porn addiction for close to fifteen years, and all of this led me to discovering some very crucial and beautiful things about not only the physicality of my existence, but the spirituality of it as well. Since then, I‘ve been building bridges that have served me in feeling more whole and well-integrated. I’ve now made it my mission to share with you whatever it is I’ve learned.
Themes, topics and healing modalities such as spiritual embodiment, psychosomatic practices, Shadow Work, Masculine/Feminine energetics, conscious sexuality and archetypal meanings are brought to the forefront in order to raise awareness around what is out of sight because it is only from there that new life can ever emerge.
The greatest paradox of the human condition is to live amongst duality as we seek unity. This is a podcast honoring both and in doing so, creating the loving connections and honest-to-raw conversations we so desire in our lifetimes.

Overview of Today's Topic: Sacred Sexuality Symbols
So today might be a shorter one. I really want to touch base with something I talked about last week and I did intend on talking about it last week, but there was a lot of information so it kind of slipped through the cracks.
But no worry. I'm here today to, uh, elaborate on what it is I talked about last week. So today really is like a part two to last week's episode, I'm still gonna be unpacking, um, sacred sexuality symbols within the Christian teachings within the Bible. But today I wanna talk about the Eucharist more specifically because I talked about it last week. And it's so, so potent with symbolism and archetypal meanings as well. So I don't know how long this episode will be.
But I am going to continue riding this train of comparing Western and eastern spirituality and symbolism as far as sacred sexuality is concerned.
The Eucharist: Traditional Definitions and Rituals
So today I will be talking about the traditional definition and ceremony and ritual of the Eucharist within the Christian Church.
So the Eucharist is basically Ta eucharistiria, which is a Greek word that means thank you, and it's really about giving thanks and it's the divine offering from Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ at the Last Supper told his disciples that by eating the bread. This represents the body of Jesus Christ, and by drinking the wine, this represents the blood of Jesus Christ. So when we go to the church, in orthodox tradition, it is bread and wine. In other Christian traditions. I believe it's a little bit different. I don't know the exact terms of what they eat as far as the grain part of the ceremony is concerned, but they do drink wine as well. But, it does represent the body and blood of Christ.
Symbolism of Bread and Wine in Christianity
So the body and the blood is packed with rich symbolism. I will be bringing in the eastern, um, Taoist as well as Hindu tantric definitions of body and blood and what this actually means and how it does connect to sacred sexual symbols. Again, when I say sacred sexuality, I'm speaking to the energetic, spiritual union of the divine feminine and the sacred masculine.
So archetypally speaking, the blood of Christ is represented by the wine we drink. So this is the feminine principle, the release of menstrual blood from the feminine body is a part of the human nature, the lifecycle, and what actually allows for baby to be born, right?
So last week I mentioned the womb. The living water within the feminine body is the womb, and the womb of course, also holds blood. It is by the womb holding the blood that the baby's actually able to gestate and come to life and be birthed. So blood here does represent the feminine principle, and then the bread, which comes from grain, which comes from the seed is of course the masculine principle. So I talked last week about the seed. I talked about the living water in the male body, which is the semen and is actually seen as something sacred within the East, and also used to be seen as something sacred from the early Christian mystics before organized institution really came into power.
So here we see, of course, a play on these masculine principle of creation, which is the seed and the feminine principle of creation, which is blood. Now I do wanna also mention that in order to make wine, we need to crush the grape, right? So remember when I talked about the Dionysus, the archetype of dismemberment, transformation and rebirth within the ancient Greek pantheon.
So wine here does represent the resurrection, right? This energy of resurrection because we need to crush the grape. The grape needs to go complete and total transformation in order to become wine. Same with the seed, right? So we need to crush the seed. We need to make it into flour. We need to put it in fire.
We need to bake the bread through the alchemical process of baking and utilizing fire. So again, we do see these processes of transformation and resurrection within both the seed, which is the bread and the wine, which is the blood. So this is a very significant connection to the traditional meaning of the Eucharist because in taking the Eucharist, we are reminded what Jesus Christ portrayed for humanity to do within themselves. So this is an ongoing process that does need to be happening within ourselves. And of course, all this happens because of the holy fire. So the holy fire, the Christ energy that exists within our bodies. As we move the holy fire up our chakras, up our churches, up the spine, we are to also experience spiritual death and rebirth.
And by taking the Eucharist, by taking in the seed, which is the masculine principle, and taking in the wine, which is the feminine principle, of course, speaks to this process of creation, which is basically sacred sexual union. The energetic spiritual union of the sacred masculine and the divine feminine.
Eastern Perspectives: Taoist and Hindu Teachings
So in the East, the Taoists and the Hindu tantrics also perceive blood and seed as sacred processes of human nature. So, as I said in the previous episode, semen is what carries Jing. This is why we are to retain as men our semen in order to transform Jing into Qi.
Because this is the root vitality of the body. This is what gets everything started in order for Qi to eventually become sheen, which is spiritual energy. So that is the semen, that is the seed of the male body. The exact same process happens for the female body in the Taoist tradition. Now, of course, feminine bodies do not produce seed, feminine bodies have blood, so menstrual blood as part of the Taoist teaching is also regarded as something sacred. So instead of Jing, women have xue. This menstrual blood is the vital essence that is to also be transformed into qi. In order for women to have QI moving through their bodies, they need to transform xue into qi.
Now, of course, women don't have a choice like men. Men have the choice to rid their semen when it is they want, but women as part of their cycles release blood once a month, but when the body's not releasing blood, this is a very prime time for women to practice transforming xue into qi. Now, advanced alchemical practices in the Taoist tradition actually allow women to be doing this while they're releasing blood. So it is possible through advanced practice that even though women are releasing menstrual blood, they can still continue to transform their sexual energy into QI energy.
So obviously nothing about semen and blood is disgusting or shameful in the Taoist tradition. This is the core foundation of their spiritual practice as far as the microcosmic orbit is concerned.
Connecting Eastern and Western Spiritual Practices
Men need to transform Jing into chi to get to shen and women need to transform xue into Qi to get to shen in order to circulate this energy, which of course optimizes health, vitality, energy, and spiritual awakening and spiritual realization.
I also do wanna mention here that the Taoists consider electric energy as the masculine principle and magnetic energy as the feminine principle. So we do have electromagnetic energy that courses through our body. And this is what basically is qi what moves through the meridians.
So the meridians are energetic channels as part of Chinese medicine. Through acupuncture, through acupressure, we can activate these meridians and we can basically decongest blockages and, uh, move qi more freely, which optimizes health. So this also does touch base with the living waters, with the living rivers, that course to our bodies that Jesus Christ mentioned.
So of course, river has a current which speaks to an electrical current. So I also do believe that when Jesus Christ mentioned the living waters and the living rivers within our bodies, he's actually talking about chi or in Christian terms, holy Spirit coursing through our energetic channels. So I did want to add that here as well.
Now in the Hindu tantric teachings, the male semen is called shukra bindu, and it is considered to be a sacred drop of creation. In Shakta tantra. The menstrual blood of the female body is considered the raw power of Shakti. Blood is also honored in some of the left-handed practices of Tantra and is seen as the embodiment of life force. So blood is basically the representation of Shakti and semen is the representation of Shiva. Their union creates a amrita, the nectar of immortality, which rises through the chakras, along with Kundalini energy.
There are also practices of retention and sublimation in the Hindu tantric teachings in order to raise this energy in order for the male body to conserve the seed and transform into spiritual energy and the female body to conserve the blood when she can in order to transform this into spiritual energy as well.
So, Shiva, as I've said in previous episodes, is he who holds space for the dance of Shakti to move through life. So basically he is the absolute consciousness and she is pure potential and energy.
So of course this is referring once again to the Kundalini energy, Kundalini Shakti rising up the chakras in order to meet Shiva at the crown chakra. So as we can see, blood and seed are very pivotal in this process. We can also see how pivotal it is in the microcosmic orbit as men transform Jing into qi, and women transform xue into QI in order to get sheen, which is spiritual energy. So we can very much parallel these processes and these perceptions of seed and blood to the Eucharist of the Christian teachings.
Now, of course, we'll never find these definitions in the biblical teachings. Jesus Christ said that the bread is my body and that the wine is my blood. But as always, we have to remember that whatever Jesus Christ was saying and teaching was on behalf of the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ was channeling and evoking the Holy Spirit. The holy fire. I do believe that every single, if not most of his teachings and parables and metaphors were speaking on behalf of the Holy Fire and Holy Spirit.
So the Holy fire is the Kundalini fire, and if the Kundalini fire is to be raised up the chakras in order to meet Shiva, and we do this by retaining blood and seed. Same thing with the microcosmic orbit. Where we have the masculine current, which is the dragon ascending up the spine, and then we have the phoenix, the feminine current descending down the front channel.
This very much speaks to the exact same raising of the holy fire, holy Spirit within our bodies, and the eating of the bread and the drinking of the wine basically tells us that we are actually in fact meant to work with the seed and work with the blood in order to transform sexual energy into spiritual energy. So the grain, of course, is like the earthly representation of life, right? We get the bread from the seed, we get it from the grain, which is earth, physical earth, and then the blood is representation of spiritual life.
It is red, right? It is the red, which is the color of the red chakra. The red chakra is the root chakra, which is from where Kundalini Shakti arises from the base of our spine. So the union of the wine and the bread is the union of the seed and the blood.
The union of the seed and the blood is the union of the sacred masculine and the divine feminine. And that is the deeper meaning of the Eucharist as far as the Christian teachings are concerned, because it is a very powerful and very present ritual across all Christian churches and monasteries across the globe, whether it's Orthodox, Catholic, Protestant, and so on and so forth.
It is the ritual of giving thanks to Jesus Christ for what he did for humanity. But again, esoterically speaking, Jesus Christ was not only crucified and resurrected, but symbolically, he showed us how to do this. And we do this by the raising of the holy fire. We do this as men by learning how to transform our sexual energy into spiritual energy by working with our semen, by working with our seed. For women, it's learning how to work with their blood and that is how they get to transform sexual energy into spiritual energy.
Personal Reflections and Closing Thoughts
I know it's maybe tough stuff to swallow or tough to, you know, process 'cause we've not been taught at all. At all, at all, that this is really what it takes to become more spiritual, to become more connected to God, right?
I've said it before. We've been taught that our primal animal, you know, lower parts, private parts, processes, impulses are things to avoid, things to negate things that don't actually have anything to do with God, but it couldn't be further from the truth. So obviously mainstream Christianity would never admit that any of this is sound or valid.
I'm not saying that this is the absolute truth. I am just finding the connections. I'm just looking at the similarities because as I said, because of my wounding with pornography and porn addiction, and sexual wounding, I went and searched for all kinds of information, just trying to understand what was going on with me, and it never actually steered me away from, you know, my Christian faith. And I'm not here to say which faith is right, i'm not here to say which religion is right or wrong.
Actually, the more I have, not just read. Right. We can all go on the internet, we can all go buy a book and read, but really inner seeking, the more I've inner sought, the more I have meditated, the more I have spent time in solitude and contemplated. I am realizing that absolutely everything is connected and that basically everybody's talking about the same thing, the same stuff, just in their own languages, in their own wording, in their own metaphors, in their own way.
You know, religion wounding is so, so, so fucking loaded. It is centuries upon centuries of trauma, all religion, all organized institution, right? I'm not, uh, singling out just one religion here. And I'm not here to tell you that religion is wrong or, you know, to not go to an organized institution if that is serving you and helping you heal and supporting you, if that is what is helping you and helping you heal and supporting you, then by all means go for it. I am just speaking of course, on behalf of my experience and to the people that are struggling with the more molded, inside the box, closed doors, closed windows, type of education and teaching.
So I really wanted to bring this to the space because studying Kundalini yoga and the microcosmic orbit has really, really served me. And it, you know, just kind of making the parallels to the Christian teachings has really just, um, opened up an array of doors within myself. And I know it's not easy information.
I know it's not easy, uh, knowledge to process or maybe even accept, but the common ground is there because if I can find so much healing and so much spiritual understanding in the Eastern teachings, yet still feel so connected to the Christian teachings, then there has to be some form of connection. And because my wounding and my traumas were sexual in nature, this is why I excavated and researched the way that I did.
So I'll leave it here. It's probably a bit shorter than usual, but that's okay. I just really wanted to bring this to the space today. Uh, I hope you enjoyed this episode. If you're on YouTube watching, please hit that like subscribe button. I so greatly appreciate it.
