PURPOSE WEDNESDAY: Season 3: Episode 19: CHANGE YOUR WORLDVIEW, MAY 22 , 2024
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
In this eye-opening episode, Coach Latasha S. Morgan takes you on a deep, honest journey into the lens through which you view others—and yourself.
Here’s the truth: your experiences have been talking.
Your pain has been shaping perspectives.
And if we’re not careful, our wounds will start narrating stories that God never wrote.
Too often, we filter people through what we’ve been through—who hurt us, who left us, who disappointed us. But that kind of vision? It’s distorted. It’s survival-based, not Spirit-led.
Coach Latasha brings it home with clarity and conviction:
We are not called to see people through our feelings—we are called to see them the way God sees them.
That means:
- Letting go of assumptions rooted in past hurt
- Breaking free from emotional bias and misplaced judgment
- Allowing God to renew your mind so you can respond with wisdom, not wounds
Because when your worldview shifts, everything shifts—your relationships, your reactions, your peace, and your purpose.
This episode is your invitation to do the internal work, to confront what shaped your lens, and to align your perspective with truth.
Bottom line:
You can’t walk fully in purpose if you’re seeing people through pain instead of purpose.
It’s time to adjust your lens.

Hi there, I'm Latasha Morgan, Certified Christian Life Coach, Certified Professional Life Coach, or Certified Master Christian Mental Health Coach and a whole lot of other good, good, good as y'all. Yes, that day, that time of the week. You know what time it is. It's Purpose Wednesday, honey. Yes, it is. It's Purpose Wednesday. I've had an amazing day, and I pray that you have had an amazing day as well. I also pray that every day to come is even greater and more amazing than the one before it. Yes, honey. Yes, I do all day, every day. Yes. Now listen, it's Purpose Wednesday, and we have a new series. You know, we just finished talking about forgiveness and how sometimes people need help and knowing how to forgive. So we've covered that series on knowing how to forgive, okay? On forgiveness. So now we're going to be looking at a worldview. Now, most of the time, and this is good coming after forgiveness because a lot of times what we've experienced, how we've been hurt, and what people have done to us affect our worldview, it affects how we see other people. That needs to change. Why? Because we never want to see anybody else the same way or make them feel as if they've done the same thing someone else has done. Yes, you've forgiven, but you didn't forget, right? So, guess what? Our worldview has to change. And by change, I mean that we have to adopt a biblical worldview. We have to see people as God sees them and not based on what we feel or what we say. So, over the next several weeks, we are going to cover 10 steps of how to align our worldview with biblical teachings. In other words, to change our view of the world and base our view on the way God says. We're gonna see people through God's eyes and not just not our own, okay? So join me starting next week, Purpose Wednesday, as we discuss and talk about our first step, which is regular Bible study. I'll see you next week. Good night.
