Honey there, I'm Natasha Morgan, Certified Christian Life Coach, Certified Professional Life Coach, Board Certified Master Christian Mental Health Coach, and a whole lot of other good, good, goodies, y'all. Yes, that day. That time of the week. You know what time it is? It's Purpose Wednesday, honey. Yes, it is. It's Purpose Wednesday. I've had an amazing day, and I pray that you have had an amazing day as well. Also pray that every day to come is even greater and more amazing than the one before. Listen, we've been talking about changing our worldview, right? So last week we talked about regular Bible study. That's the first step. Step two, prayer and meditation. You have to seek guidance and meditate on scripture. Pray for wisdom and understanding as you read the Bible. That's important. Because if you don't get understanding, it won't turn to wisdom, will it? So, and then guess what? It won't be applied to your daily life. See, you want to make sure that you meditate on the word of God and understand what he's saying to you. Like I said last week, you want to make sure you take it out of the time in which it was written. Know why it was written in that time. And see what God was saying to them. And then bring what he said, what you read in scripture into your time as well and apply it to your life. What is God saying to you? Not your own interpretation, but what is God saying at that moment? There are two scriptures that I have for this week that are very wonderful for this particular step. Because Psalms 119, verse 105 says this, and this is the King James Version: Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Proverbs chapter 6, verse 23 says, For the commandment is a lamp, and the law is light, and reproofs of instruction are the way of life. The word of God is so important. It is so imperative that we know it and understand it, gain wisdom from it, and apply it to our life because that's the way we're gonna be able to live this life according to the way that God wants us to live it. It is a manual for life, it leads God and direct us in the midst of darkness. That's why it's a light, it shines in the midst of darkness and lets you know what path to take. That's why the Bible also says, trust in the Lord with all thy heart, and lead not unto thy own understanding, but in all our ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy path. When we are not meditating on the word of God, and the word of God is not has not become a part in our hearts, and dwelling in our hearts, then we're leaning onto our own understanding. That's why we don't be trusting in God the way we should, because we're leaning on our own understanding, that's why we make um decisions that don't pan out well because it's our own understanding and not his word. So, with that said, step two prayer and meditation. It would change your life, and it'll change the way you see people. You will not base your worldview on your past, pay your present situations and circumstances, but you see people the way God sees them. Based on his word and your relationship with him. So let the word of God lead God and direct you and keep praying and meditate on his word. Have a nice night.
