Hi there, I'm Latasha Morgan, Certified Christian Life Coach, Certified Professional Life Coach, or a Certified Master Christian Mental Health Coach, and a whole lot of other good, good, good as y'all. It's that day, that time of the week. You know what time it is. It's Purpose Wednesday, honey. Yes, it is. It's Purpose Wednesday. I've had an amazing day, and I pray that you have had an amazing day as well. Also, pray that every day to come is even greater and more amazing than the one before. Listen, honey, it's purpose Wednesday, and we're still talking about changing our worldview based on immersing ourselves in the word of God, right? And applying his daily principles to our daily life. Okay, we're on step number eight: gratitude and contentment. Practicing gratitude and finding contentment is very important in our lives. We often worry about a lot of different things. We don't see the things we expect to see. We don't see the things that God has promised us. Maybe that's gonna come because there's a step step-by-step process you have to take to get to what God has already promised, right? He doesn't just throw things in your lap all the time. So we have to be grateful and just regularly thank God for the many blessings and the provisions that He has provided and given. We have to be content with where we are in all circumstances, not just the good things, but the bad as well. Trusting God that He's in control and He will provide whatever we need. Thinking about this particular step: contentment, gratitude, and contentment. Listen, I thought about Matthew chapter 6, verse 28 through 34, the King James Version. Now I'm gonna read it to you. And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow, they tore not, neither do they spin. And yet I say unto you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothed the grass of the field, which is today is, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you? Oh ye a little faith, therefore take no thought, saying, What shall I eat, or what shall we drink, or wherewithal shall we be clothed? For after all these things do the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly father knoweth that ye have need of all these things, but seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow, for the morrow shall take thought of the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Listen, be content and grateful for what you have, and know that God's gonna supply whatever you need. I'm a living witness that He will supply whatever you need if you seek Him first. Listen, He will, He really will. There have been times in my life and even recently that I found myself complaining about something or saying, I wish I was here, I wish I was doing this, I wish that I was um on a higher plane than I'm I'm I am now, or farther in my life than I am right now. But you have to be content and know that everything is operating under the plan of God, it's out of my control, it's out of your control. There are things we can do and there are things we cannot, and we have to leave those things to God, all right? So listen, be grateful and be content, and when you're doing that, you won't have a chance to see people based on your own view because your view will change, your view of God will change, and therefore your view of people will change as well. Have a nice night, y'all, and thanks for watching. I'll see you next week for purpose with day.
