Start the week with a steadier heart and a clearer plan. We dive into the practical side of faith—how to defeat fear, hear God’s guidance, and map your calendar with confidence rather than anxiety. Drawing on promises from Isaiah and Hebrews, we talk through the mindset shifts that turn Monday pressure into purposeful steps, and we share a candid story of a months-long sales pursuit that turned into a win after a simple instruction from God: have faith.

You’ll learn how to define faith as assurance and hope as a positive expectation anchored in God’s character. We walk through a simple rhythm for planning: get quiet, ask for instruction, keep pen and paper ready, and act on what you hear even when it feels counterintuitive. You’ll also hear how to push back when fear, uncertainty, and doubt try to take over—by submitting to God, resisting the enemy, and speaking trust out loud. Along the way, we highlight the Holy Spirit’s role as counselor who leads into all truth, offering real clarity for decisions, relationships, and work.

This is a message for anyone ready to trade frantic striving for Spirit-led focus. We talk about building teams through prayer, inviting the right people into the assignment, and leaning on God’s strength instead of our own. If you’re staring at a full week, this conversation is your reminder that God upholds, instructs, and brings to pass what He authors. Press play, plan with the Lord, and let faith set your pace. If this encouraged you, subscribe, share with a friend who needs courage today, and leave a review to help others find the show.

SPEAKER_00:

Greetings, my friends, Tony Williams here. God loves us unconditionally, and He has a wonderful plan for us. So wherever you find yourself right now, ask God to help you. Have faith in God. God's message for us today, his encouragement, is now faith, freedom from fear. When God calls us to an assignment and we know that we're where we're supposed to be, doing what God has called us to do, trusting Him for the outcome, the enemy, Satan, will attack us in our thinking. The primary tactic that Satan uses is that of fear, uncertainty, and doubt. Fear. And God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind. So for those who are beginning this week with the anticipation of what lies ahead, God is saying, Fear not, for I am with you. Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Surely I will help you, and I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. What confidence that gives us, my friends, that our Father in heaven, when we said, Jesus, I want you to be my Savior and my Lord, I surrender my life to you. When we make that declaration in faith, believing that Jesus is now our Savior and our Lord, God immediately begins to operate in our lives. He gives us his Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit within us empowers us to do and accomplish everything that God has helped us to set goals to do and accomplish. And so today God is saying to me, have faith in God. Have faith in God. In Hebrews the 11th chapter, verse 1. Now faith is being sure of what you hope for and certain of what you do not see. Being sure of what you hope for and certain of what you do not see. What is hope? Hope is the positive assurance of an expected future outcome. Hope is the positive assurance of an expected future outcome. When we put our faith and trust in God, knowing that we are where we're supposed to be, doing what God has called us to do in the energy and strength and resources that only God can provide. Wherever you are right now, my friends, as you go into the coming week, have faith in God. Put your trust in God. Say aloud, I trust in you, Father God. I will put my trust in you. God says, trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your path. In my life and career, one of the things that God is teaching me, and I want to share it with you, always begin your days planning with the Lord. Always begin your weeks planning with the Lord. Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge him, and he will make straight your path. First and foremost, put our faith in God. Secondly, trust in God. As you plan for the upcoming week, take time to get alone with the Lord, away from the busyness of cadence calls and updates and client meetings and family affairs. Get alone with God and ask Him to speak to your heart. Declare, I put my faith in you, Father God. I trust you, Father God. Show me the way. And as you get quiet with pen and paper, listen for the Lord to give you instructions for the day. He promises, I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go. I will counsel you with my eye upon you. The beauty of having a relationship with Jesus through the power of his Holy Spirit living on the inside of us is that he knows everything. He says, when he, the Spirit of truth comes, he will lead you and guide you all into all truth. He will not speak on his own, but he will only speak that which he hears, and he will tell you what is to come. John 16, John the 16th chapter, verse 13. God is always speaking, and he definitely speaks to his children because he wants the very best for you. Once you've made that decision, my brothers and my sisters, wherever you are in the world, to say, Jesus, I want you to be my Savior and my Lord. I put my trust in you. I put my faith in you. Once you make that declaration, begin to walk by faith. And faith is the key to receiving all the good things that God has in store for you. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. For he who comes to God must believe that he is a rewarder of those who seek him. Hebrews the 11th chapter, verse 6. Faith says, I trust you, God. Faith says, I believe the promises that you've made to me. When God makes a promise to you, my brother, you can count on it. Have assurance. Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the positive expectation, assurance of a future outcome. When God makes a promise, you can count on it. And when fear, when the enemy attempts to attack you in your thinking, to be fearful, to get you looking at your circumstances, immediately resist him. The Bible says, submit to God, resist the devil, and he must flee. Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. So you affirm aloud, I trust you, God. I refuse to doubt you, Father God, and I will do what you tell me to do. Then listen for his instruction and do what he tells you to do. Even though it seems counterintuitive, even though it doesn't necessarily make sense to you, trust him. That's what faith is all about. Trusting in God when you don't see it yet, and praising him and thanking him for the outcome. I just saw in one of my Bibles a tremendous sales opportunity that I was working on for months and months and months. Me and the sales team. You see, you can never do anything alone. You always need people. So you pray that God would bring you the best people of his choosing to help you accomplish what he's assigned you to do. God doesn't have individual performers. God has people that he aligns with other people, his children to help and encourage and uplift and to move forward in life. So my team and I, I've been praying for months and months. We're going back and forth across the globe, taking the client, prospective client to show them our capabilities. And I was praying. And God just showed me before I came to this podcast. See that, Tony? What did I do? And I remembered six months before we won the business, God said, Have faith in me, have confidence in me. This very passage that I'm using to share with you, my friends. Now, faith is being sure of what you hope for and certain of what you do not see. Have faith in God, and He will bring to pass the plans that He helps you to set, the goals that He's helped you to set. He will help you this week. As you go into the week, my brothers and my sisters, put your focus on God, and your focus of faith will free you from all fear. Father, thank you for my brothers and my sisters all around the world. And whenever and wherever they listen to this message, may your Holy Spirit within them give them courage and confidence and boldness and assurance that you're working, that you're guiding, that you're leading them into all truth. And you will bring to pass all the promises that you've made. In Jesus' name. Amen.
