We explore how speaking God’s promises shapes decisions, calms fear, and builds confidence in life and career. Drawing on Hebrews 13, Romans 4, and Psalm 19, we show how to meditate, confess, and act on Scripture with clarity and courage.
• Hebrews 13:5–6 as foundation for bold confession
• Authority to speak only what God has spoken
• Abraham’s faith as a model in Romans 4
• Replacing fear with power, love, and sound mind
• Practical confessions for health and provision
• Meditating on Scripture before speaking it aloud
• Following leaders who taught the Word
• Jesus Christ’s unchanging character as assurance
Oh Father, I thank you that we have the power, love, and sound mind to proclaim the truth and may our tongue and lips always say only the truth. May no negativity, no defeat, no words of fear come from our mouth, but may they always be words that are acceptable in your sight all around the world in Jesus' name. Amen.
Setting The Theme: Power Of Words
TonyGreetings, my friends. Tony Williams here. Did you know that God has given you the power to impact and change the circumstances in your life and career? Listen up as I share with you what God has placed on my heart today in this message called the Power of Words. Just as I was having time alone today, just meditating on all the good things God is doing in my life, I came across this verse. God has said that we may boldly say. And I began to think the power of words came to me. God has said that we may boldly say. It's found in Hebrews the 13th chapter, verses 5 through 9. For God has said, I will never fail you, I will never abandon you. So we can say with confidence, the Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. God was impressing upon me, and I want to share it with you, my brothers and my sisters, all around the world, that you can impact your life and career by what you say. Let me share with you what I mean. God always models what he wants his children to follow and emulate. Jesus modeled what he wants us to follow and emulate. So what does God do? He gives us this authority, this power of the Holy Spirit within us to give us the ability to speak to our circumstances, our words, the power of words. How can we say anything with confidence? We can't say anything in confidence apart from what God has already said, because God has all power, all authority to enforce and make come to pass what he has said. So he gives us the ability to understand the promises that he's made to us, and then in turn, we in faith speak those promises into our circumstances in life and career. This is why in Celdi I share with you insights and principles based on the Bible, words from God that if we apply them to our hearts as believers in Jesus Christ, we can expect what God promises. Therefore, this message is for those who believe in Jesus Christ all around the world. God says, speak with confidence what I have said to you. God has said that we may boldly say, What can we boldly say? We can boldly proclaim the promises of God. They're all throughout the Bible. There's so many promises. And I was just meditating this morning on one promise that came to our father Abraham. Did you know that Abraham is the father of all people who put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ? Listen to what it says in Romans the fourth chapter, verse number 17. In the presence of him whom he believed, even God, who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist. In hope, speaking of Abraham, he believed, so that he might become a father of many nations according to that which had been spoken. So shall your descendants be. What's significant about that? Abraham believed according to that which had been spoken. Again, the Lord impressed upon me the power of words. We speak in accordance to what God has already spoken. So, what has God spoken to you, my friend? What promise has God made to you that He wants you to trust Him and believe Him to bring to pass? Abraham trusted and believed in what God had spoken to him. What is God saying to you right now that he wants you to believe that He will bring to pass just as He has spoken? You see, the spoken word of God is irrefutable, it will not return void. So, whatever promise God has given you, God is saying, you can rest assured that I'm going to bring it to pass. So therefore, what God has said, I will never fail you, I will never abandon you. So we can say with confidence, the Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. Fear is torment. The devil, Satan, is our adversary. And one of his primary tools across the globe is to terrorize people, to put fear in them so they will not believe. And so God says this message is for his children that he has not given us a spirit of fear, but a power, love, and sound mind. How do we exercise that power? We do it like our father Abraham did. We believe God and we proclaim that it will be just as God has spoken. What is that promise that God has given you, my brother and my sister? Speak it. Use your words to speak the promises of God with the authority that God has given you. Just as I was getting ready to record this message, God spoke this message to me in Psalm 19, verse 14. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight. O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. God says, Let my words resonate from your lips. Let my words rest in your heart. Meditate on them. Think about them. Ponder them. Don't let them slip from your attention and your thinking. Continually rehearse the promises of God and recite them aloud. So whatever it is that God has given you as a promise, if it's health, speak health. I speak health into my body in the name of Jesus. If he's spoken prosperity, in the name of Jesus, I speak prosperity. In the name of Jesus, whatever the promise is that God has given you, proclaim it and believe it. And model the behavior that God modeled when he spoke the world in creation. Abraham believed in the true God, and that's the true God that we believe in. And we model the behavior of God our Father, Jesus Christ our Savior and His Son, and those who've come before us, our leaders. It says, remember your leaders who taught you the Word of God. Think about all the good that comes from their lives and follow their example of faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Believe him and proclaim in faith the promises that God has given you. Oh Father, I thank you that we have the power, love, and sound mind to proclaim the truth and may our lips put a guard at our lips that we always say only the truth. May no negativity, no defeat, no words of fear come from our mouth, but may they always be words that are acceptable in your sight all around the world in Jesus' name. Amen.
