Divine Wisdom That Transforms Your Life and Career Journey

Greetings, my friend.

Over twenty-five years ago, I discovered how to obtain divine wisdom and apply it to my life and career.

If you are like me, you are facing many choices and need to make numerous responses to people, circumstances, and situations.

I am sharing a divine approach: asking for divine wisdom, receiving it in faith, and letting it shape the way we choose, respond, and lead. Instead of chasing outcomes with more hustle, we slow down, ask better questions, and align with the divine source that brings clarity and calm to the day’s hardest calls.

It is a good practice to stop and ask God to show you where you are on your life and career journey. God promises that if we ask for wisdom, He will generously supply it for every decision we make.

Also, I share with you the qualities that divine wisdom produces in us.  Take time to assess if these qualities are evident in your life.

I know that God delights in our success as we follow his guidance and divine wisdom.

Tony:

Greetings, my friends. Tony Williams here. God loves us and God is with us on our journey in life and career. And He wants us to experience the abundant life that He has secured for us. And how do we secure the abundant life that God has already provided for us? He says, I've already provided everything that you need for life and for godliness. Well, how do we acquire it if it's already ours? We acquire it by faith and divine wisdom. And this is what I want to share with you today. Divine wisdom for life and career. We all have decisions to make on our life and career journey. And wherever you are on your journey right now, you're going to be faced with choices, responses, and you're going to experience the outcome. Exercising godly wisdom will position you to experience God's best for your life and career. So that's why divine wisdom is essential. And so you may say, well, Tony, I want that. That's what I said about two decades ago. And how do you get it? God says you ask for it. This is what he says. If anyone lacks wisdom, let them ask of God who gives to all generously. Isn't that a beautiful promise? That if we ask of God to give us divine wisdom, he gives it to us generously. We have to ask in faith, not doubting, but believe that when we ask, we receive it. I began practicing this over two decades ago. And daily I ask God to give me wisdom. I am reminded today, as I asked the Lord, Lord, where am I on my life and career journey? And you may want to do the same. Ask God, where am I on my life and career journey? And then he prompted me to say, ask for wisdom. Wisdom, wisdom, wisdom, to make sure that I'm in step with God for my life and career journey. And when we do that, God promises to give us the wisdom that we need abundantly. The other thing that God pointed out to me is that I need to do self-assessment along the way. Everyone needs to check to see if they're in step with God, number one, and if they are modeling and exhibiting the qualities that God wants us to exhibit to everyone that's watching us and to receive the best outcome that He has in store for us. What does that look like? Well, this is what it looks like, and it's found in James the 3rd, chapter verse 17. But wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy, and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. This is what God says. Tony, look at your life. Does your life exhibit these qualities? And so, my friends, I share that with you because this is what we need as we continue on our life and career journey. The outcome will be we will experience God's best along the way. The outcome is that we will receive promotion from God because we're exhibiting these qualities. These are the qualities that God says he promotes. And God wants to promote his children. He wants the very best life for his children. And this is how we attain it through divine wisdom. Asking God, number one, to give us wisdom. Number two, listening and obeying and applying what he tells us to the choices that we make, the responses that we take, and then exhibiting the outcomes of doing it God's way. I encourage people that I coach to write five one-word attributes that they believe are qualities that they exemplify in their life and career. And I did that today. And I have to say that these qualities, some of them were missing, but God loves me and God is guiding me and preparing me for the next phase of the journey. Here are the qualities that he talked about that exhibit godly wisdom, divine wisdom. Pure, peaceable, gentle, reasonable, merciful, and sincere. When we exhibit those qualities, those are the qualities that God uses to elevate us, to impact our family and our loved ones and our clients, all the good things that He has in store for us and experience the abundant life along the way. The thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy. That's the counterfeit success, worldly wisdom. But Jesus says, I've come that you may have life and have it more abundantly. That's divine wisdom. So, my friends, wherever you are in your life and career journey, God is encouraging us today that when we stop and ask him for wisdom, and when we stop and do a self-assessment, he will show us where we are. And then from that point forward, from this point forward, we continue to ask him, Father God, give me wisdom for the choices I make. Give me wisdom for the responses that I give. And let me experience the outcomes of doing it your way. Father God, I love you. We love you, and we thank you for giving us divine wisdom. And enable us to exercise it and experience the abundant life, the good life that you have secured for each of us, and in turn be able to share it with others, and they too can enjoy the same. I pray this for my brothers and my sisters all around the world. In Jesus' name. Amen.
