Greetings, my friends.
What if the smartest investment you’ll ever make can’t be priced in dollars? We invite you into a candid, heart-level conversation about why godly wisdom outperforms gold, reshapes ambition, and sustains the kind of success you can enjoy and pass on. Drawing from Proverbs 3:13 and decades of lived experience, we share a path that trades the chase for fame and fortune for a steadier quest anchored in guidance, discernment, and peace.
Across this reflective episode, we unpack what it means to make wisdom your primary goal. You’ll hear how a simple daily rhythm—quiet space, prayer, a notebook, and Scripture—can transform strategic decisions, relationships, and health. We talk about the tangible returns: favor that opens the right doors, grace that steadies you through setbacks, and clarity that protects you from costly detours. Instead of sprinting after every shiny opportunity, you learn to invest in choices that compound over time and align with a purpose that lasts.
We also confront the empty promise of applause-driven success. Wealth and recognition can’t guarantee fulfillment; wisdom safeguards both outcomes and the joy of enjoying them. That shift reframes leadership, career, and family life, turning achievement into service and influence into legacy. Whether you’re just starting out, midway through your journey, or looking back and recalibrating, the invitation is the same: ask God for wisdom, make it your quest, and follow the light you receive. There is a reward!
Welcome And Core Message
TonyGreetings, my friends. Tony Williams here. Welcome to CELD Summit Evergreen Leader Development Insights. Thank you so much for listening. Every week we seek to share an insight, an insight that comes from God that will help us achieve the goals that He helps us set for life and career. And this day, this morning, God gave me this message: the blessings in God's wisdom. The blessings in God's wisdom. We've set goals and we have a vision that we want to accomplish in the months and years ahead. What's the most important thing that we have to have? I believe it's godly wisdom. Godly wisdom. Godly wisdom. And what does it look like? God gives us a promise, and this is what I was meditating on this morning, and the Lord prompted me to share this insight with you. I pray for you, my brothers and my sisters, wherever you are on your journey in life and career, that God will make himself known to you, that you will hear his voice, that he will encourage you and empower you to accomplish and achieve all the goals that he's helped you set. And I know with confidence that he will. This is the promise that he gives in Proverbs the third chapter, verse 13. Blessed is the man or woman, boy or girl who finds wisdom, who gains understanding. For wisdom is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. Well, how do you know what yields a better return until you invest in it? I did this on July the 20th, 1998, is the notation I have in my Bible that I was using during that season of my life. And as I meditated on it this morning, God gave me a message of encouragement and exhortation that I pass on to you. When we seek God's wisdom, we are questing the most important thing that we could go after in life. What's your quest in life? What are you spending your life and time, energy and resources going after? Everybody on the face of the planet is going for something. They have a quest. And the Lord prompted me to ask this question: What is your quest in life? Quest is that something that you're discovering, that you're seeking to find. God says, make seeking my wisdom your quest in life. And when we do that, we'll discover the overflow of all the abundant benefits that God has in godly wisdom. I look back now that I can confidently share with you on July the 20th, 1998, when God gave me this promise and I began to apply it. I have not been perfect, my brothers and my sisters, but I have been applying it. And what have I learned that I share with you? That God has prospered me. God has given me favor. God has given me grace. God has given me health. God has given me an abundance of so many good things that I just can't name all of them. And God wants to do that for all of his creation. That's why he says, make wisdom your quest. And when you make wisdom your quest, all these abundant blessings God gives you. And that's what the title of the message is about. The blessings in God's wisdom. The blessings in God's wisdom for you, my brother, for you, my sister. Wherever you are in the world, God, the omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent Father in heaven, says, These are your blessings. So, my friends, God is encouraging you and me to make the quest for wisdom our number one priority. And it comes from an intimate relationship with Him. I was able to focus in on this promise by just making a point of sitting in quiet in my new expanded office here in my office at Celdi Company and just sitting with the Lord and just enjoying his presence with a cup of coffee and my notebook and pen and my open Bible. And he gave me this insight that I am now sharing with you. When you acquire God's wisdom, you then begin to invest. You begin to invest in your life and career. And when you do that, the yield is better than gold. I can't give you what the gold price is right now. I don't know what it is. But God is saying, whatever it is, when you invest in my wisdom, you can expect yields that returns greater than gold. What does it look like? It affects every area of our lives, my friend. I can give you with confidence one testimony and example after the other, because I've been doing this from July the 20th, 1998. So that's what gives me my confidence and my encouragement that I pass on to you. Regardless of where you are on your life and career journey, you could be just starting, you could be halfway there, or you could be more than halfway there. Wherever you are in life, God is saying to us right now, the most profitable and productive and prosperous thing we can do is seek, make wisdom your quest, godly wisdom. You see, my friends, my quest before this time used to be fame, fortune, and money. Now, at this stage of my journey, the Lord is showing me that those things don't provide fulfillment and they don't last, but only what we acquire in the wisdom of God will last now through eternity. Think about the people who have fame, fortune, and riches. Some of them do not enjoy the abundant life that Jesus speaks of for all of the people that put their faith and trust in them. Think about the outcome of some of those people's lives. God is saying, I'm going to protect you. I'm going to order your steps where the blessings that I give you, you're going to have the ability to enjoy them. And not only you, but you're going to be able to pass them down to your loved ones. Pass them on to people that I place on your pathway that you're going to inspire, that you're going to encourage, that you're going to bless. You see, my friends, it's so much greater when we do it God's way. So, my friends, I encourage you, ask God to give you godly wisdom. Make godly wisdom your quest. And trust him, rely upon him, have faith and confidence in him, and follow his instructions that he gives you for accomplishing and achieving all the good things that he has planned for you and that you're planning with God together to obtain. God loves you unconditionally, and the very best, the best yields are found in Godly wisdom. Father God, I love you, and you love us. I love my brothers and my sisters, and wherever they are when they hear this message, I pray that your Holy Spirit will speak to their hearts, give them encouragement, give them hope, and give them confidence and assurance that with godly wisdom nothing is impossible. In Jesus' name. Amen.
