Greetings, my friends.

When life and work unravels, timely words can revive us.

We share a God-guided encounter with a man whose struggle mirrored our own past. A single promise from God—"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him"—became a turning point, giving power to move forward.

I explain how that encounter and God’s promise guide us as we put hope into practice, not just theory.

We discuss the difference between happiness and biblical joy, and how peace remains steady even when circumstances don’t change. The Holy Spirit fuels hope from within, and declaring trust—“Lord, despite what I see, I trust You”—reshapes our focus and strengthens resolve.

I offer a simple habit: keep a "promises-from-God" note book. Write what the Holy Spirit tells you, include dates and details, and revisit them when challenges or emotions arise.

Over time, these markers do more than comfort. They retrain your mind, calm your emotions, and encourage courage.

This story-driven conversation invites you to carry hope. Share what God has done for you. Speak life to coworkers, neighbors, and strangers. Let gratitude and praise fill quiet moments, and let trust guide you before results appear.

If you’ve been searching for a next step when everything feels uncertain, you’ll leave with words to pray, practices to start today, and a promise strong enough to hold on to, persevere, and experience how God will make all things new.

If you’re encouraged, join us on our journey. Share it with a friend who needs inspiration. Leave a brief review sharing the promise you’re holding.

Opening And Theme Of Hope

Tony

Greetings, my friends. Tony Williams here. God loves you unconditionally, and God wants you to have hope. And the power of hope, your power in hope is the message that God wants me to deliver tonight. Your power in hope. Are you going through a circumstance? God says he is the God of hope. I talked with a man earlier this evening and he was going through some challenges. Things seemed to be crumbling all around him. And I could relate to it because I was in the same place where he is right now. And I was able to encourage him that God sees him, that God would bring him through, and God was able to do exceedingly abundantly more than all he can ask or imagine. I was giving him hope. Why? Because that's what God wants us to be. He wants us to be encouragers, he wants us to be carriers of hope. And once we have experienced the hope of God, the manifest hope and power of God, he wants us to share it wherever he takes us, all around the world. So this man happened to sit beside me tonight, and God gave me a message of hope. And his circumstance mirrored mine, something I was going through in 1998. I found this passage that I'm sharing with you, and I had a date beside it. And I recall what was happening at the time. My work situation seemed to be crumbling. My personal relationships and my family seemed to be crumbling all around me. But I read this passage and I wrote the date beside it and what I was going through. This is why I encourage you, my friends, get a Bible and write little notations. I call them journey markers of God speaking to you and He's giving you a promise. And here is a promise that you can count on. Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him. God wanted me to trust in Him in 1998. Everything looked like it wasn't going to work out, but God gave me a promise. Trust me, Tony, and I will bring you through. Watch what I will do. And he gave me another promise that this particular passage that I'm sharing with you triggered in my mind earlier today. And my heart leaped for joy. I'm so excited, and now I know what he's talking about. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him. You see, my friends, when you put your hope and trust in God, it releases power. Where does the power come from? The power comes from the Holy Spirit living on the inside of you. 1998 seemed like everything was going wrong, but God gave me hope. He told me, I am the God of hope. So where you are right now, God is saying to you, I am the God of hope. Hope in me. Look for a promise in my word and claim that promise and hold assuredly to the promise, because I always keep my promises. And this is what God is saying to you, my brothers and my sisters all around the world. He is a God of hope. God says, I am the God of hope, and as you trust in me, you're going to overflow with joy and peace. Think about that. Joy and peace. Joy is beyond happiness. Joy is that inexpressible something that God gives us that enables us to just have this positive outlook, this positive expectation, this positive knowing that God is with us and He's going to get us through it. That's the God of hope. And then He says, you're going to have peace. You know, our circumstances can try to disrupt our peace. The circumstances do not have the ability to disrupt our peace as we hope in God. And he gives us supernatural joy and supernatural peace. My sister, wherever you are, the circumstance that you're facing, call on the God of hope to fill you with all joy and peace, believing him, believing that what he says he will do, he will do. And as you put your hope and trust in him, watch your circumstances change. When we hope and trust in the living God, he moves and acts in our behalf. What do we how do how does this work? What does it look like? Someone may say. This is how it looks when you put your hope in God. You begin to pronounce out loud, Father God, I put my hope in you. Lord Jesus, I put my trust in you. Lord Jesus, I'm believing what you said. Lord Jesus, I thank you that you're bringing me through. You begin to focus on God. You begin to thank God and praise God for what he's done and what he's planning on doing. You see, my friends, this attitude of gratitude and thanksgiving for the living God and the promises that he gives us gives us this hope. And this is what he wants you to have tonight. This is what he wants you to be a carrier. He wants you to be contagious with hope. Be hope where you are, wherever you are, whatever continent you're on, be hope where you are. Proclaim hope. And this is how you do it. You speak hope to hopeless people. You speak the word of God in the truth and the promises of God. You speak what God has done for you in the lives of those he places on your path. Tonight, I had an opportunity to give hope to a man who was going through, who is going through what I was going through in 1998. I was able to confidently encourage him that God will see you through. God is doing something new. And I shared that with him. And I know the Holy Spirit is giving him hope that he's going to make it through. Listen again to what God says. It's good. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him. You have to make a decision. I will trust in God and God alone. I will trust in Jesus and Jesus alone. I have been in the workplace, my friends. I've been in leadership positions, and God has blessed me to do some marvelous things. But all along the way, in my heart, God kept telling me, have hope, Tony. Infuse those that I place in your pathway with hope. Even those who don't know me, even those who don't call on my name, infuse hope in their circumstances. Speak hope into their lives. And this is what is so vitally important. When you're in your circumstance, you voice the hope, an assurance that God is who he says he is, and he will do what he says he will do. And you proclaim it out loud. Lord Jesus, I believe in you. Father God, I believe in you, and I thank you for loving me. I thank you for your promises to me. I thank you for your unconditional love for me. And then you proclaim out loud, may the God of hope fill me with all joy and peace, as I trust in you, Father God, so that I may overflow with hope by the power of your Holy Spirit living on the inside of me. What makes your faith in God through Jesus Christ so unique? It is this that the power of God, through the Holy Spirit of God, God Himself, comes to live on the inside of you, and He gives you supernatural hope. So, my brothers and my sisters, be encouraged today. Have hope in God. Have faith in God. Believe in God and watch the outcome. He's promised it. Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him. Trust him. Proclaim out loud, Lord, in spite of what's going on, I trust you. In spite of what I see, I trust you. I believe in you that you will do what you promise to do. This is why you want to get promises from God. I shared with a group yesterday, and I was so blessed the Lord was there and he spoke so beautifully to us. My promises from God book. Write down in a book the promises that God gives you. Rehearse those promises. Recite them aloud and mold them over and over through your mind throughout the day and throughout the night. The promises create new neuropathways in your mind, but it starts in your spirit. Your spirit with the Holy Spirit of God ignites you and it overflows into your soul, your mind, your will, and your emotions. They start to respond to the new you. And then your body, healing in your body, disease gone from your body, vitality and health, because you're walking in the power of God's Holy Spirit. Father God, thank you for tonight. Thank you for today. Thank you for my brothers and my sisters as you walk with us along the way. And not only are you walking with us, you're in us, and help us to remember you are the God of hope. And let us proclaim and practice aloud what it looks like to put our hope and our trust in you. Now, may the God of hope fill you, my brothers and sisters, with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit living in you. In Jesus' name. Amen.
