Greetings, friends.
Discouragement grows when we focus on it. By shifting our focus away from fear and frustration, we break its power.
Push back discouragement with faith: God can place a powerful song in your heart through the Holy Spirit.
When you face temptation, doubt, depression, or spiritual heaviness, talk intentionally with God. This steadies you and gives you your next step.
Psalm 95:1 calls us to praise and connects spiritual practice to real-life challenges believers face.
Praising God out loud reorients the mind. Ask God for a personal “new song” in difficult times.
A truth sang and repeated day and night, reminding you to trust God even before you see the result.
Expect a dramatic victory from God.
2 Chronicles 20 shows King Jehoshaphat's crisis: fear meets prayer, a promise, and worship as a weapon. The power of praise drives back heaviness and brings God's peace and victory.

Welcome And Core Message
TonyGreetings, my brothers and sisters. Tony Williams here, and welcome to Cell D. Thank you so much for listening. I thank God for you and you're in my prayers. And I know God is speaking to you right now, and He has a message for us today. The message is the power in your song. The power in your song. Has God given you a song to sing? Do you have a song that just comes to you in the middle of the night when you're going throughout your day? That the Holy Spirit of God, who lives on the inside of you when you said, Yes, Lord, I want you, Jesus, to be my Savior and my Lord. Has the Holy Spirit given you a song? The Lord prompted me to share this message because there are people out there that will experience discouragement. They will experience frustration. And the devil wants to attack you because you're God's child and you're moving in the direction that God wants you to move. When we make this commitment to God to move in the direction that He wants us to go and to seek the things that He wants us to go after, Satan, the enemy, uses the tactic of discouragement, even to the point of trying to depress us. For what purpose? To make us stop, to make us turn back, to make us doubt. But God said, Put a song in your heart. And the message that he gives me comes from Psalm 95, verse 1. Listen to what God is saying. Oh come, let us sing for joy to the Lord. Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation. What is the power in a song? The power in a song is one that's initiated by the Holy Spirit in you. And it says, The Lord put a song in my heart and establish my goings, and I was singing to the Lord. When we sing and praise God, it activates the spiritual dimension around us. Our physical environment is impacted and controlled by the Spirit. The Lord is spirit, and they that worship God must worship him in spirit and truth. How can you worship God? One of the ways to worship God is to pray to God, to praise God and proclaim God and experience the power of God. I sought the Lord and he heard and he answered. That's why I trust in God, my Savior and Lord. He's never failed. He's never failed me yet. I sought the Lord and he heard and he answered. My friends, when we sing and praise aloud to the Father, to Jesus, our Lord and our Savior, it activates the spiritual world. We live in the physical world, but the spirit world overpowers the physical world. God is spirit. The Holy Spirit is spirit. The word of God is spirit and truth, and it never fails. So when God gives you a song, and that's the key, the Holy Spirit in you will give you a song. He puts a song in my heart and establishes my going. So when you're discouraged, when you're tempted to doubt, when you're tempted to say defeat has overwhelmed me, sing to the Lord. Sing to the Lord and shout to the Lord. Why? Because the Bible says he inhabits the praises of his people. When we sing aloud for joy, it says, Oh, come, let us sing for joy to the Lord. You are depressed, you're discouraged, you're doubting. Sing for joy. Sing for joy. Sing for joy. Again I say, rejoice in the Lord. The Lord is near. Give thanks to the Lord. Pray, talk to your Father in heaven. He loves you. He sees you. What song has God given you? If you don't have a song, ask him, Lord Jesus, give me a song. Give me a song that I can sing. You know, this past week I was impressed with a song that just it just seemed to rest in my spirit, and I know it was God. Lord, I believe in you. I put my trust in you. Though I can't see you with my eyes, deep in my heart, your presence I find. Lord, I believe. I awake in the night and that song is on my heart. I go through the day, that song is on my heart. You see, God, my brothers and my sisters, will give you a song. What is the reason that God gives us this song to sing? Because the praises of his people activates our God. The praises of his people activates our God. Here's an example that came to me as I was meditating on the Lord and just praying this morning. And I've been praying for you. So this word is for you. Let the Holy Spirit in you hear what the Holy Spirit is saying through me to you. There was a man in 2 Chronicles 20, a man of God who put his faith and trust in God. He was a king. And the account goes like this He was enjoying the blessings of God, and he got bad news. There were three armies, enemy armies, coming up to destroy him. And at first, the Bible says he was fearful, but then he focused on God. And this is what we're to do. If you're discouraged, if you're doubting, if you're fearful, focus on God. That's the first thing he did. How do we put our focus on God? We pray, Oh Father God, help me. I need your help. Show me what to do. Give me a promise from your word that I can stand on your promises. And when you do that, when you turn your focus to the Lord in prayer, God will give you a promise. Just like He did Jehoshaphat. Read it in 2 Chronicles, the 20th chapter. A prophet, the Spirit of the Lord came upon a prophet, and he spoke a prophecy, saying, You will not have to fight this battle. Only go out and stand and see the victory of the Lord that He'll give you tomorrow. Whoo! This is what God is saying to someone out there. A battle is not yours, but God's, and he will deliver them into your hands. God fights our battles for us. We fight our battles on our knees in prayer to the living God. And we fight that way. We humble ourselves before God. We resist the devil, and he must flee. And we submit ourselves to God. And in that process, the Spirit of God begins to act in your behalf. And that's what he's doing right now. Believe what he's saying to you. And so when Jehoshaphat got that word that he didn't have to fight the battle, that the battle was already won, he just needed to go out and stand. You know what he did? He began to praise and worship his God. And the people that were praying for him and with him began to praise and worship their God, our God, Jesus is Lord, to the glory of God. The next morning they got up ready to go out, anticipating they're going to see three hordes of armies, a multitude of the enemy. But you know what Jehoshaphat did? He exercised his faith, and that's what God wants you to do. He consulted with the singers, and he said to the singers, Remember what the prophet said. Remember what the Lord our God has said, and we're going to put our faith and our trust and confidence in him. I sought the Lord and he heard and he answered. That's why I trust in God. So the choir gets in front of the army. They march out. Can you imagine what they were thinking as they were marching? The word had come that three hordes of armies had come against them. They were over the ridge. So, but they were singing and praising. And the Bible says, as they began to sing and praise God, God began to act in their behalf. This is why you want to praise and sing God in the midst of your discouragement, your doubts, and whatever challenge that you're facing. Stop and praise Him. Thank Him. Let Him put a song in your heart and begin to worship God. Put your focus, fix your focus on God. And as they did that, when they arrived, the Lord had set the whole group of the enemies against themselves. Every one of them had killed each other. All Jehoshaphat's people had to do was to walk in and claim all the goods, all the treasures that had been brought to them through these three enemy armies. And the Bible says it took them three days to carry off all the blessings. What can we learn from this? When you're discouraged and when you're doubtful, when you're despair, let the Holy Spirit in you give you a song to sing. And when you sing that song, you sing praises to the living God. You sing praises to your Father in heaven. And the Bible says he inhabits the praises of his people. And he encourages us, put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. When you're depressed, one of the best things you can do is praise God. Let the Spirit of God take control and begin to praise Him. When you do that, depression, discouragement, and doubt are driven away because they're evil in their nature. And in the presence of God, the love of God, the power of God, the sound mind of God, the Word of God, the enemy has to flee. That's what God is saying to you today, my friend. Let the Lord give you a song. What's your song? What's the power of your song? Let the Holy Spirit bring a song to you. Listen, this is the Lord gave me just before I began to come up to record this. I waited patiently for the Lord, and he inclined unto me and heard my cry. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and will put their trust in the Lord. You see, my friends, when God gives you your victory through praise and prayer and the promises that He gives, others are going to see it. They're going to be attracted to our God and they're going to listen to your testimony, your account of the goodness and the miracles of God. Believe and expect God to act in your behalf. He's already in the process. Wait patiently for the Lord and let him put a song in your heart and sing to the Lord. Sing for joy.

TonyThat's why I trust in God. Oh Father, I love you. And you love us. My brothers and my sisters, wherever they are, let them hear your encouraging word. Put a song in their heart. And let, oh glory to God. Thank you, Jesus. And let the songs of the righteous, those who put their trust and hope in you, Jesus, let those songs rise all around the world on every continent, in every tongue. In the name of Jesus, we be set free and walk in victory. In Jesus' name. Thank you, Jesus. Amen.
