Greetings, friends.

If you’ve been drowning in information but starving for clarity, this conversation is a reset. We talk about guidance as a promise from God, not a lucky break, and we anchor it in Jesus’ words from John 16:13: the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth who guides us into all truth and reveals what’s ahead.

For leaders, professionals, and anyone trying to make wise decisions, that changes everything. It means you’re not just collecting advice or reacting to noise. You’re learning to discern and to hear God with confidence.

We walk through what it actually looks like to rely on the Holy Spirit for day-to-day direction: praying simple, honest prayers for truth, making space to be quiet, and expecting God to speak.

We also challenge the pace that keeps many of us spiritually dull. When we stay distracted, we miss the guidance that’s already available within us. When we prioritize an intimate relationship with God, we begin to recognize his voice in Scripture, in conversations, and in the moments when decisions are made.

We also share a real leadership story about starting what became the SELDI Podcast with Tony Williams, expanding into a vision from God to launch The SELDI Company, Inc., and how step-by-step guidance shaped the vision, goals, and long-term impact.

Along the way, we connect John 16:13 with Jeremiah 33:3, reminding you that God answers when you call, and he shows you what you don’t yet know, including “what is to come.”

If you’re seeking Christian guidance, spiritual growth, or practical faith for your next step, don’t just listen—take action. After hearing this message, set aside a quiet moment to ask God for truth and clarity about your life and career. Expect Him to respond, and be ready to follow the guidance He provides.

Welcome And Core Promise

Tony

Greetings, my friends. Tony Williams here. Welcome to Cell D, Summit Evergreen, Leader Development Insights. God loves you unconditionally. And because he loves you this way, he's given you a vision for your life, and he's given you goals that he wants you to set and a promise that he will be with you all along the way to accomplish everything that he's placed in your heart to accomplish and do. Along the way, we need guidance. And he wants us to understand that he's provided that as well. Everything that we need for life and godliness, he has already provided. The key thing that we need on our journey in life is guidance. Guidance from God, knowing that he lives on the inside of us. At the moment you said, Jesus, I want you to be my Savior and my Lord, that very moment, the Spirit of God comes to live on the inside of us. And what does the Spirit of God inside of us do? He gives us guidance. And so our message for today, guided by God, the Holy Spirit is God in you and me. What promise can you claim, can you stand on as you go on your life and career journey? I was with a group of leaders this past week and I shared with them, we may say what God has boldly said. The only thing that we can say in life and career with confidence and conviction and courage is what God has said. Because God is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. And his word, his promises always accomplish what he sends them to do. So we can boldly say what God has said. What did God say about guidance? This is what he wants us to hear today. It's found in John the 16th chapter, verse 13. Jesus is talking. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. For he will not speak on his own initiative, but whatever he hears, he will speak, and he will disclose to you what is to come. John the 16th chapter, verse 13. Let's talk about it. When God gives you a vision, he also gives you guidance to accomplish that vision. You see, there are so many voices in the world that clamor and want to pull us to the left or to the right. But when we have a vision from God, when we know what God wants us to accomplish, and by the way, my friends, if God has not given you a vision, here are the steps to follow. Number one, ask Jesus to be your Savior and your Lord. Recognize that Jesus is God. He died on the cross to pay the penalty for all the people's sins who would put their trust in him. And he rose from the dead and he walked on the planet to show that he was God. When we place our trust and faith and confidence in him, immediately we become children of God. To all who received him, Jesus, to them he gave the right to become children of God. As children of God, he gives us his Holy Spirit who lives on the inside of us. We do not have to work to gain God's approval. We don't have to do all the gymnastics that people feel they have to do to earn the approval of God. He has already given us this unconditionally, and he promises that his spirit that lives on the inside of you and me, my friend, wherever you are in the world, whatever language you speak, the Spirit of God knows you. And he says, I will guide you. Guided by God. He says, first of all, he will guide you into all truth. The world is filled with all kinds of information. We have more information now than I believe every any person that's ever lived on the face of the planet through all generations. We have information all around us, but we need truth. Information is not truth. And so how do we discern what truth really is? The only way is to ask the Holy Spirit of God who lives on the inside of us, Holy Spirit, show me the truth. Holy Spirit, lead me and guide me into all truth. And when we ask that simple prayer of the Holy Spirit, we can be assured that God will assuredly answer it for us. So the promise, He will lead you and guide you into all truth. You need the truth about the next decision that you have to make? Do you need the truth about the vision that God wants you to set? Do you need the Holy Spirit to give you the truth? Then simply pray. Listen and He will speak. Expect Him to speak. He's always speaking. We have to be quiet long enough for God to get through to us. He's always communicating. We get so busy and distracted, and I was guilty of this until God showed me this, I believe, over ten years ago. That Tony, you cannot be so busy and active that you fail to take time to invest in the most important thing that you have in life: an intimate relationship with your creator. And when I started to make God my priority, listening to Him quietly in the morning, listening to Him quietly throughout the day, listening to Him quietly in the nighttime, God began to speak and I began to listen. And he gave me guidance, guidance. And just this past week, you want to recall the guidance that God has given you. Because by recalling the guidance that he's given you, you will see that the truth that he's provided all along your life and career has been truthful, truthful. And as you continue to walk in that truth, you will surely get to where he wants you to be. And he will accomplish everything that he's promised that he will do for you. So guided by God is essential. What does guided by God look like? Well, here's one. When I started Celdy, I didn't know exactly what the future would hold. But God told me, I want you to start imparting truth into the people's lives that I place in front of you. I was in a leader development role, and I knew that young people that I was touching would be facing some of the same obstacles, challenges, defeats, and setbacks that I experienced. It's not unique, it's a human nature situation. So God gave me a set of principles that I documented and I began to share those principles with the young individuals that he would place on my path. Some became very interested. They heard and they began to apply it. And now they're in leadership roles all around the world. And I thank God for that. But God wasn't finished there. He said, Tony, continue to impact the people that I place in front of you with the truth that I give you. And once a person understands who they are in Christ and the truth that they're hearing and they begin to apply it, then God moves them supernaturally to accomplish extraordinary things. And so God is saying that I will guide you, the Spirit of God will guide you into all truth. When he's guiding us into all truth, we're not sidetracked, we're not moved off the path that he's given us to follow to fulfill the vision that he has for our life and our careers. And so the truth is essential, my friends. The only way you can have truth is go to the source of all truth, who lives on the inside of you. Remember, he said, but when he, the spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own initiative, but whatever he hears, he will speak. Why is it this way? Whatever he hears, he will speak. Because God is always continually guiding us. And he speaks to us through his spirit within us. How does that happen? When you open the Word of God, just like I'm doing now, and I look at this scripture, John 16, 13, I begin to read it aloud. The scriptures are alive and they always accomplish what God sends them to do. And he always does what he promises. So as I read that, but when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. And he will not speak on his own initiative. He, but whatever he hears, he will speak. Right now, as I'm delivering this message, I'm listening to the Holy Spirit in me speaking. This is what I want you to say, Tony. And he will do that in your business meetings. He will do that as you plan the territory assignments that he's given you. He will give you this insight and this direction as you're having a conversation with your loved ones, as you're having a conversation with your clients. Whatever the circumstance may be, this is how God communicates. This is how he leads us. The Spirit of Truth is the receiver. And the Spirit of Truth only speaks what he hears God saying. This is what I want you to say to Tony. This is what I want you to say to the listeners of the Celdy podcast all around the world. God gives us this information so we can live and operate in truth. For what purpose? So we can enjoy the abundant life that Jesus died to secure for us. The abundant life that He wants your loved ones, your colleagues, and all that you put your hand to, he wants you to experience in your vocation and beyond. So this is vitally important, my friends. And I pray even now that the Holy Spirit in you is giving you the guidance that you need. Turn to John, the 16th chapter, verse 13. Do you have an important decision to make? Do you need to hear guidance from God? Go to this chapter and just get alone with God and say, God, Father God, speak to my heart. Lead me and guide me into all truth. So as I started Celdi, it started out as Evergreen Leader Development Insights. And over the years, now over 10 years, it's changed. God has guided me into all truth. And now it's the Celdi podcast, Insights. Now it's not only a message, but it's a company called the Celdi Company Incorporated. This is where leading and guiding and truth comes in. When God gives you a vision, he gave me the vision to start the Celdi Company, but he also discloses what is to come. And when I first started the Celdi Company, God said to me, The Celdi Company will be a great company. The Celdi Company will be a prosperous company. The Celdi Company is a profitable company all around the world. God disclosed to me what is to come. How can I confidently say that? Because God has said it to me. And this is what God wants you to do with your vision, my friend. When you have a vision from God and you're a child of God, you can boldly say what God says to you. And this is why you can confidently say that, because the Spirit of God, the Spirit of truth, will lead you and guide you into all truth. He will speak only what he hears, and this is what else he will do. He will disclose to you what is to come. Woo! Think about your vision. The Holy Spirit, when you get alone with God and you start to envision your vision, when you begin to talk with God and you receive what the Holy Spirit in you wants to say to you, He will show you what is to come. And this is what God has shown me about what He's given me in my vision. I am simply sharing with you, my brothers and my sisters, this is what God wants to do in your life. So when you need guidance, and we all, all of us need guidance, he says, Come to me and I will give you guidance. I'm inside of you. Understand that I live on the inside of you. This is the beauty. He said, Call to me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things that you do not know. Jeremiah 33, 3. I called on the Lord decades ago. And I begin now to understand what he was doing decades ago when he said, Call to me, Tony, and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things you do not know. He's saying to me, I'm not going to disclose to you truth. And as you walk in this truth, as you live in this truth, as you allow me to guide you, I'm going to do the extraordinary through you. I'm going to do the supernatural through you. And not only are you going to impact the vision that I've given you, but it's going to overflow. Your family, your colleagues, the company where I placed you, the community where I send you, everywhere you go will be impacted because you're walking in the truth. You're letting me lead and guide you. So, my friends, let the Holy Spirit guide you today. But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak. And He will disclose to you what is to come. Father God, I thank you for my brothers and my sisters. I thank you that you've given us vision, you've given us goals to set, and you live on the inside of us. Help each of us, Father God, to take the time to just sit and be quiet and ask you to lead us and guide us into all truth and observe and expectantly hear what you will say. And then act in faith and observe the outcome of your loving hand in everything that we do and those we love. In Jesus' name. Amen.
