Greetings, my friends. Tony Williams here. Welcome to Cell D Summit Evergreen Leader Development Insights. I'm so happy and glad and thankful that you are listening because I have a special message from God for us today, all around the world. It's called Knowing Who You Are. Identity Matters. Knowing who you are. Identity Matters. You know, God wants to accomplish great and mighty things through you, my friend, wherever you are in the world. And He created you for a wonderful purpose. He has a plan for you. And you're not an accident. As I was meditating this morning before God, he gave me this message. Why, Tony, have you not stepped into the great and magnificent plans that I have for you? Why have you been reluctant, Tony, to receive the vision and the goals that I've helped you set? And I remembered why. I did not understand who I was. I was operating off of an old identity before I met Jesus Christ. The old Tony Williams, the inadequate Tony Williams, the Tony Williams who came from an impoverished background, the Tony Williams who didn't have the upbringing of prosperity that many others had. I came with that mindset. And God reminded me today that many of his children that he loves unconditionally all around the world are operating in the old mindset. We're new creations in Christ Jesus. When you ask Jesus to be your Savior and your Lord, the Holy Spirit comes to live on the inside of you and he empowers us with a new identity. We're brand new creations in God's eyesight. Unfortunately, Satan, the deceiver, has us looking at ourselves through the old lens, the old person. My friends, when you said, Jesus, I want you to be my Savior and my Lord, at that very moment you became a new creation in Christ Jesus. Here's what it says. If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans the 10th chapter, verse number 9. My friends, this is a game changer. You are a new creation in Christ Jesus. You are God's workmanship. Listen to what the scripture says about who you are. You are God's workmanship, created for good works, which he prepared in advance that you should walk in them. You're God's masterpiece. You have been prepared by God. You have been chosen by God. You were planned by God. You are not an accident. He has a purpose for your life, and he has given you the power to accomplish that purpose. Planned, purposed, and powered by God. That's what he said to me this morning. And this is why I'm believing him for great and mighty things. I'm believing him for seemingly impossible vision and goals that he's given me. This is what he's saying for you, my friends. Be encouraged that God is with you. You're not the old person, you're the brand new creation in Christ Jesus. Begin to see yourself the way God sees you. Your identity matters because once you understand who you are, once you have the mindset of Christ, the new person empowered by God with a purpose planned by God, you begin to step into great and mighty things. Your vision becomes enlarged, your goals become grand and magnificent. Why? Because God, the Holy Spirit in us, is empowering us, enabling us to envision the vision that He has for our lives. You are a new creation in Christ Jesus, prepared, created for good works that He prepared in advance that you should walk in them. God has a plan for you. God has a purpose for you. And God has given you power to accomplish it. My friends, be encouraged wherever you are in the world today, that you are not an accident. You are chosen by God. He loves you unconditionally. You are God's child, and He created you for a purpose, a purpose that He will help you identify. Take time. Get alone with God with pen, notebook, pen. And just open your Bible to Ephesians the second chapter, verse 10. Created for good works. God's workmanship. What does workmanship mean? It means that you have been providentially created by omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent God, the creator of the universe, created you. He knew you before you were in your mother's womb, he says. And he created you for a purpose. He you're planned, you're chosen, you're not an accident. You know, some people may have come into this world through unexpected ways, but you're not an accident. God knew you before you were ever born. And God said, These are the things that I've created for you to do. John, these are the created things I want you to do. Mary, all the creation of God, he has prepared good works in advance that we should walk in them. You may ask, me? Yes, you. You may ask, how can I do this? It's because when you said yes to Jesus, his Holy Spirit comes to live on the inside of us. We are brand new creations then. Whatever happened in your past, my friend, whatever happened in your upbringing and all of those things, up until the point you asked Jesus to be your savior and your Lord, are wiped away. You're a brand new creation in Christ Jesus. And he's empowered you and He's clothed you with the righteousness of God. And when he looks at you, he sees his masterpiece, the workmanship that he's created. He's saying to you, I've created you for great works. Listen to me. Listen to what I'm saying I want to accomplish in your life. Envision the vision that I will give you for your life. See the goals that I've helped you set. You see, my friends, if you cannot see it in your heart, you can't achieve it in your mind. If you cannot see it in your heart, you can achieve it with your mind. But if you can see in your heart who you are in Christ, if you can see in your heart the vision that God's given you, if you can see in your heart who you are, then you can accomplish through your mind. As a man or woman thinks in their heart, so they are. And you begin to speak accordingly. Your conversation changes. Begin to speak life over your vision. Begin to speak life, the truth, the promises of God over your family, your loved ones, your workplace. You see, you're in the workplace for a purpose. You're leading that company for a purpose. Have a vision for the people that you lead. Have a vision for your life and for your leadership and pray that the people that you lead will become aware, awakened to who they are and what they can accomplish. When I was in a leader development role in a major corporation, one of the main things that God showed me that I could do to impact people for life is help them to determine a vision for their lives. To ask them, what impact do you want to have with your life now that you're here on this earth? What impact do you want to have in this company that God has placed you in? How do you see yourself? What are the attributes, the qualities that you see in yourself? You see, my friends, God wants you to understand this, the supernatural qualities that He's given you and the divine purpose that He's created you to achieve and accomplish. Oh, praise the Lord. Be happy today. Rejoice today and say, Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus, for letting me know you. This is eternal life, my friends, that they may know God and His Son Jesus Christ. That's eternal life. Begin now, today, to receive the abundant life. The thief, the devil, comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, to hold you back from accomplishing all the things God's given you. But Jesus said, I have come that you may have life and have it abundantly. And this is his encouragement to you, my friends. Abba Father, Father God, I pray your Holy Spirit will awaken all of us to who we are in Christ, that we will step forward in faith to who we are and act accordingly and impact our families, our loved ones, the workplace, those we lead in the marketplace, and the clients we serve and the people we meet along the way.
